Cielos Luz
For every day, there is a night. For every dawn, there is a dusk. For every Celestial, there are countless demons.....
Many thousands of years ago, while Lutra was young, a peculiar species came into being. Humans. Humans where always weak, as such when the demons came, they could not stop them. One night, while man was young, from the darkest reaches of Lutra and beyond, the demons descended. They ravaged the land, killing many human populations. They went continent to continent in their hunt for human blood. It brought them enjoyment. Until they came upon Dorthithladh, the last stronghold of humanity. The humans of Dorthithladh had no idea what was coming, and stood no chance against the demons. Or so it seemed. One night, under the night sky, the stars granted their power to 88 select humans to combat the demons. These 88 fought the demons back, and saved Dorthithladh, going down in history as the first Celestials.
Now, after many thousands of years of peace from the demons, a dark cloud gathers, and the Celestials will be called again.
Aylmer Kingl, Grand Observer
Ailianthum
Aylmer sat there, behind the ancient telescope which his family had looked through throughout the ages. He was an old man, older than most humans should have been. A total of one hundred and two years. He was near the end of his life, and he knew it. He had discovered the location of many Celestials, and put to rest even more. Looking out, he could see the stars twinkle in the way they always do, without a care in the world. They would always be there, and as long as they twinkled, humanity would live on.
"Ah... my old friends...." He spoke softly as he coughed, "Looks like my time is coming, isn't it. Umm.... I lived a good life I guess... a few great great grandchildren is good right?" He smiled as he took a look in the telescope, "Everything looks normal.... wait... what's that?"
He focused the telescope on a black comet, "Oh no...." he said in horror.
Zhirov Vladimirovich, Lord of the Forsaken Land
Zheleturynisk, Forsaken Land
He sat there upon the red throne, a wine glass in hand. Put there was no wine in the glass. Instead, there was blood. Lord Vladimirovich took a drink, the Pishaach lord of the Forsaken Land, and the most feared Pishaach of Solas. No mortal who had looked upon him survived. Except for a select few. Another mortal would be brought into the exclusive club. He looked to his side, where a male moon elf vampire in full armor stood.
"Where is he?" Zhirov said, "I grow impatient."
"My lord, I have sent for him. He should be arriving soon."
"I will say this. I am not impressed right now with this mortal. You assured me that this Dietrich would be a valuable asset."
"Yes my lord. He has been assisting our allies in the west with their raids." The moon elf vamp said, "If he doesn't come soon...."
"I will have your head."
The moon elf vampire gulped and stayed silent as they waited.
Agnimukha Vasuman, The Phoenix
Hashbai, Jiddahari Caliphate
"HALT!" A guard yelled as Agnimukha kept running. He didn't do anything necessarily illegal. He just happened to rip of the lord or whatever of Hashbai. Did he feel bad, not really. But he sure didn't want to get caught.
"Yeah. No thanks, I have to go. Bye." He said as he continued running. The guards continued to chase him, through alleys, over roof tops, through a crowded Bazaar. Eventually he made a wrong turn and found himself at a dead end. He quickly looked for a way out. He could have used his powers to fight his way out, but he didn't want to draw his blade on these guards who were just doing their job.
He looked at the guards as they drew their weapons and approached him. "No where to run now. Just hand yourself over. No one makes a fool of the lord of this town." One guard said.
Agnimukha smirked, "Really? Because I am pretty sure I managed to do so. As for a way out." He looked to a window, small enough for him to fit through, but not for the guards to follow, "Gotta go." He jumped through the window with a mock salute.
He rolled and stood up before looking back at the windows, and into the eyes of a now stuck guard. He smirked and opened a door. Walking through the door into another room of the building he was greeted with a shriek. At first he didn't know what it was. But then he saw them. He happened into some sort of all female bath or spa.
"Ladies." He said not bothering to look away. A few moments latter he rushed out of the front door and closed it quickly. Just then a sword blade could be seen popping through the door right beside his face. His hair was all messed up and his clothes ripped all over. He got some strange stares, to which he just smiled and nodded. "Trust me. You don't want to go in there."
With that he reentered the Bazaar.
Malmiahitli, Perseus
Tocanahuacan, Tocanahuacan
"There it is. Tocanahuacan." Malmiahitli said as she looked upon the large pyramid that was Tocanahuacan. She had traveled to Tocanahuacan, due to a dream. She had a dream that she did not understand fully, all she knew was that something was coming, something big. She took a breath and began to slither to the entrance of Tocanahuacan.
