Please tell me that San Francisco is populated by mostly non-San Franciscans, because if any native San Franciscan heard someone say "Frisco" I have great reason to believe that said someone would soon die.

Well, seeing as it's been 15 years, odds are the way they spoke would change.

15 years is nowhere long enough.

In the 1850s people caught saying "Frisco" had to pay a fine.

If you look at the character sheets you notice alot of people's characters are born after or near the apocalypse or are not native san franciscans, so its very possible that they would all refer to it as 'Frisco

Really? Language wouldn't change after 15 years of influx of refugees, changing demographics, and a drastic change in lifestyle? It changes faster than that under normal conditions. You think people were saying half the stuff they are now 15 years ago?

That's why I'm saying SF had better be populated by non-San Franciscans.

Because anybody in the Bay Area would never say "Frisco" seriously.

Well, since lots of San Franciscans left SF anyway, then I guess my character can try and change it.

Lets not go too deep here. Just accept the plot and don't question, its no major plot hole.

Its an acceptable plot hole since this is an RP, and not novel-worthy. (Half done with the replies guys, just hang in a day longer).

As I sit here with the beers piling up around me and a particular band's music playing....A thought for a new character grew in my mind. So I pose a question, one I hadn't really considered up to this point:

Are there domesticated animals akin to horses, or better yet do horses still exist in this setting?
