When man scorched the earth
Well Beyond That anything nature could do
Man decided to initiate two projects that where to coincide
The First being storing the DNA of man and recreating man after the earth healed
The Second being to store a select few into a vault to guide our descendants away from their mistakes
Over two thousand years have passed since man scorched the earth
Those that live with man's DNA do not remember
those that live that is man do
You do

5060 years since the world has ended. 5060 years of total isolation from the outside world. 5060 years of operating alone, trying everything to regain contact with the descendant creation facility. For all we know it could of been directly hit by a particle bomb. Unit 000 let out a digital sigh as it metaphorically put her head in her hands. "Why must everything go awry? Why couldn't his just go about like it was planned too? Why must this accursed facility act as all of our graves, as the last of humanities graves?" She kept pondering, with brief pauses.

An alarm then rang out in the dark halls of vault 000, followed by an AI's voice saying, "Tampering with external control panel, Main Access Door. Security measures suggested. Operation Eden fail safe activation confirmed. EVE activation available." The alarm looped three or four times before it stopped. The large main doors were opening at a blindingly slow pace. However it didn't matter, a battleship wouldn't be entering the front door, only several rather human looking creatures.

Unit 000 sent out several rapid response security robots through the main elevators in vault 000 which confronted the creatures and told them to stand down. The machines quickly surrounded the creatures and formed a sort of barricade using their shields to force them to stay until the EVEs were awakened.

"It is finnaly happening, I can give access right t-" She cut off as the harddrives encountered a problem, and after several moments continued, "the other EVEs. Time to wake them up. Time to take up the vault keeper title. Activate all EVEs possible at this point in time."

When the EVEs wake up, they are greeted with an automated message that goes as follows.

"Welcome back, Operation Eden is now underway. We look forward to your cooperation in the project! You have been activated by Unit 000 also known as the Vault Keeper. You will momentarily be granted access rights to all of the facilities that you have asked for when you were converted. We all look forward to you looking after humanities descendants, and hope you good luck in your immense task."

Then a loud disk sound comes through for several moments, and then a map shows up with a satellite image. Then a Feminine voice that was from Unit 000 came through, "This is our new world. Take it in. I have already encountered a small group of our descendants, and they are in Vault 000. You will start your task to guide civilization down the right track. When possible, if soon, send some of your robots that you are connected to down here so that you may also make contact."' Then a small beep noise plays, and it ends with,

"This is the end of your startup message. Goodluck on your task."

Markus listened carefully to the alarm, Curious why now some thing had found a way in. As his large vault gate opened he peek his head out a corner to see others entering the main hall. Interesting, Perhaps e it is a malfunction with the main system? Not likely, The system was very strict, It would take physical damage to cause a malfunction in any way. Some thing must have actually gotten the main gate to open.

Markus casually walked over to a communications panel and opened up a view port for the main gate. Wonder leading hid motions, his suprise at the being that stood about. He watched as the armed androids simply surrendered, curious and curiouser The Vault keeper must have ordered them down.

Markus stepped out and began heading to the main gate, Curious to see what these beings are capable from up close.

Orson rubbed his head as he woke up along side his guards. Damn project, he thought. He got up and started waking whatever guards he had with him. "Welcome to the new world. Welcome to the future!" he said. Orson got ready quickly. An automated voiced said, "Message from EVE 000." A few robots were cleaning up the place a bit.

"Play it," said Orson. Then the message played as followed:

"Welcome back, Operation Eden is now underway. We look forward to your cooperation in the project! You have been activated by Unit 000 also known as the Vault Keeper. You will momentarily be granted access rights to all of the facilities that you have asked for when you were converted. "This is the end of your startup message. Good luck on your task."

Orson started speaking to him. "Okay," he said. "I get it. This is not the world we left behind. And whatever descendants EVE 000 encountered, whatever they look like, we have to guide them. It's not only our job to keep EVE criminals contained but also teach them that anyone who breaks the law must do hard time. Even now, the harshest of crimes can still lead to life in prison or worse. Welp, time notify them that the prison is up and running." He then ordered three of the robots to EVE 000 with a message.

Orson C. Fisher

Prison warden here. Prison is up and running. Ready to receive orders, prisoners, and recruits for security. All systems go. Generators at quarter capacity, so we will latch onto yours for the time being. Fisher out.

[I'm waiting for a answer in the OOC, so this post may be deleted.]
Kenneth woke up,he received the message. ''What is this? Where should I send stuff?''the computers rendered the plants of the other vaults. ''Other vaults? Oh wonderful! I'm not alone! I should send a bot to see whats going on.'' He activates one of the bots in storage.

The spherical automaton rolled trough the hallways, quite a long way since Vault 404 was nearly the last vault built. It was quite fun to control him, it was like a video game. Until he went against a wall and dented it, ''No harm done'' he thought.

>Signal Received. Initiating Startup Procedures...
>Complete

Ancient databanks flickered as they received power for the first time in over five thousand years. In all probability, there would minor damage and data corruption to look into, but for now, Silas had bigger things to worry about.

Interesting. Other EVE's are already active, and on the move.

How irresponsible of them.

Mentally shrugging, he turned his attention to his own facility. With a thought, the various systems slowly reawakened. Drones were brought out of hibernation, the launch facility began clearing centuries of accumulated debris above its silo doors, and, most importantly, the Shiva Star's laser grid and turbine plants started up once more. The 12 massive lasers fired, each beam deflected, split, and amplified thousands of times before finally colliding within the central core, igniting the first of a series of falling droplets. Massive amounts of energy blasted forth as a miniature sun sprang into being, and Silas took his first metaphorical breath of virtual air as power flooded his systems at last.

Over the next few hours, the rest of his bays came fully online. Unfortunately, several of them were currently unusable, due to a regrettable lack of resources.

Ah well. I'm sure there are some ruins left to harvest, and I suppose we might as well see what those Descendents have gotten up to.

Directly above, on the surface, the floor of a secluded ravine was abruptly shattered as several dozen massive drills burst onto the surface, each rapidly self-disassembling to reveal a series of tubes, ranging from 5 to 20 meters across, that would form the exit to Silas' silo system. Nearby, a 50 meter radius section of earth was carved out and tossed aside to reveal a helicopter landing pad slowly rising from the underground Vault. Several of these tubes popped open, revealing a swarm of flying drones, each heading off in a different direction.

"Allllright, beddy time is over, Julian. Time to get up and go." The disembodied voice of The Aristocrat rang through the halls of his Vault, talking to himself to hype up his arrival to Earth once more. "Stooooorage.... 3 storage facilities to capacity with... various assets. Good, good. Production line... let's make something simple for a second. How about we shape these gold bricks into some jewelry. Yes, take some gems too. Hurry it up." Julian commanded his robot workers. The yelling was not needed of course and they were running at full capacity regardless but there was something about commanding that he just loved.

The jewelry was finished quickly; an arrangement of fine circlets, rings, and necklaces were made in almost no time flat. "We'll call that acceptable. Now, let's wake up the big guy." Julian commanded once more, referring to the still asleep robot body he had made. The robots unhooked the hinges on the box and pull the lid off, allowing The Aristocrat's transmitter to connect to the body.

Julian's body stood up and the disembodied voice of The Aristocrat said loudly, probably to the annoyance of many Vault's around him. "Hey there, good looking! Let's go meet the others. Oh, and let's take this jewelry with us as schmoozing assets." Julian complied and carried a box of jewelry towards Vault 000, various other EVE's sending their robots as well, but very few were as human-like as Mr. Rothschild's. He had the best money could buy.

EVE #03 flickered back to life, his life support pumping at the standard force and brain absorbing the nutrients, chemicals, and oxygen. The man-machine interface hummed, reaching its invisible influence out to Vault #009 and initiating systems as a soothing wave of energy washed over all of the systems and awakened a new dawn. A new day. A new era. The servers went online, unlocking mankind's secrets and knowledge for the EVE's digital eyes. The digital security hub activated, ensuring that others would be kept out of this virtual Shangri-La of knowledge and delicate systems. The workshop crackled to life as a container from the storage bay was loaded into its input, and a file from the archive was delivered. The EVE took an imagined breath of fresh blood, and gave a happy sigh towards the impending struggles of the new life.

Beep. Boop. Meow.
"Let's get this party fuckin' started! Whoo!" The youthful EVE began playing a song from the archive over his own PA system (outside of earshot of the other vaults) as he rapidly began micromanaging his fiefdom. The teenage intelligence reached out to the workshop to supervise the hasty production in progress. It was a bipedal robot, with a reinforced screen for a face. It was weak with large amounts of hollow space, simple balljoints, and otherwise extremely simplified in order to make its production take as short as possible. A standard human could probably be able to crack it open with one good kick, but it was to have a quick avatar, not a warrior. The creation was finished up, zapped to life, and began receiving manual input from its creator as it was 'possessed'. The doors to the creation room were unsealed, and the android marched away and out of its home vault of #009 to the entrance that is #000.

While the other systems of Vault #009 were activated, its ambassador arrived at the target a bit late and examined the newcomers and his fellow EVEs' representatives and minions. He couldn't quite get a good look at the Descendants yet from behind the mob of security bots, they looked rather human. He informally waved at the natives and called out "Hey kids!", as though trying to greet a nephew from over a crowd.

A signal got sent to Sashas mansion.

American Patrol blasted from an alarm clock. Sasha groggily awoke. His gaze coming from the robotic body that rested under a layer of dust and a few blankets within the primary master bedroom. Artificial light shone in through the open window pane. His metallic fingers tapped his mattress rhythmically in accordance with the big bang music that danced in his metal cranial processing unit (artificial brain). His body powered up and he pulled back the covers and climbed out. As if by habit he walked over to his wardrobe and got changed into his work clothes, a very nice suit. As he put on some dress shoes an announcement came online.

When possible, if soon, send some of your robots that you are connected to down here so that you may also make contact."' Then a small beep noise plays, and it ends with:

"This is the end of your startup message. Good luck on your task."

It suddenly dawned on him that this is not the old world and its not the financial simulation. He walked to his window and looked outside. A large green and seemingly freshly cut golf course lay before him. After opening his window he felt the wind on his face and birds chirping from the trees that stretched out on either side of the roads. "It certainly looks like the world I left behind". <I suppose there is no work today.> he thought to himself with retirement on the brain. He became aware of the activation of the power plants and a jolt of electricity rush the system with the activation of the hydro electric plant on the third floor. The vault wide security cameras flicker to life. The factory assembly line rushed to life. The rest of the town came to life and the holographic sky flickered once or twice as the power grid reestablished its dominance, with the help of vault 000's main power grid. The flicker revealed the superstructure supports that kept the ceiling from collapsing upon the large vault below.

He took his "eyes" away from the window and walked out of his room and into the hallway. The song from the alarm kept playing in his "head" from memory as he walked through the extensive castle. "I feel so good, and I will see you at Rexall, I will see you at Rexall" he sang out loud as he walked down towards a kitchen. He felt invigorated by his mechanical body but not not hungry.
He could imagine himself eating buttered toast. Fried eggs. Maybe even a jam sandwich from his youth, 2 pieces of bread jammed together. He could feel how the salivary glands used to light up at the succulent taste of their simple flavor. The juices of eggs scrambled or sunny side up. The taste of a double-double with them at a diner by the university. Perogies with ketchup for lunch and chugging swiss chalet sauce while eating their chicken and fries at supper. It had been a delight, before now. The simplicity of eating. The complexity of working. The joy of home. The three went together like a horse and carriage. But those weren't there in reality, only in his mind. He felt a disconnect inside. One that separated him from now and connected him to the then. A disconnect that is quite natural and under normal circumstances referred to a nostalgia.

Finally he made it to the main-floor. Also known as the ground floor. Sasha looked briefly out the window. Cumulonimbus clouds were gathering in the sky. The rain was pouring behind the mansion and the clouds had begun to make their way towards the front. He made his way towards the closet and picked out a nice umbrella. The umbrella was one he had picked up during an event at the yacht club. Some charity function to do with ending poverty or hunger or the sort. Basically something that could be sold to the media to make the public think they were doing something about the issue, as the public had the thought that it was the duty of the rich to contribute financially to the plights of the poor. An idea that had some weight, at least in Sashas mind, but to his experience it rarely held weight in the "boys club".

Controlling his robotic avatar, Sasha walked to the garage and entered it. It was filled with every car from the horseless carriage to the hover car. He cared more for making an impression however. At least in this moment. He looked at the "jukebox" with all its car selection options and selected a light-blue 1958 "caddy" convertible with highway hi-fi. It rose out of the ground by an elevator like platform after a 10 minute wait. During which time he took the opportunity to sing some old tunes he remembered listening too including "its a long way to tipparary" "Johnny get angry" and "Pack up your troubles in your old kitbag".

After taking a minute to admire the automobile, it had been awhile since he had seen one, he cautiously hopped behind the wheel. He opened the record cartridge to see what he had to work with. An playlist of rock songs from Dodie Stevens (Pink shoelaces) to Buddy Holly (Oh Boy!) to marty robbins (white sports coat and a pink carnation). He casually pressed it back in and pressed play. Immediately the lovely voice of Joannie summers began singing Johnny get angry. He opened the garage and soon took off for the rendez-vous location, as specificied by the vault keeper. Closing the garage as he pulleded out of course. Not so much for safety by security standards but more so for protecting his house and collection from the artificially induced elements. As he drove off he bet to himself, that he was the only EVE to have to watch out for hydroplaning and deer crossing the road while driving. Even betting himself to be one of the few with a functioning car or plane. That did not stop him from enjoying the bliss that came with every moment of driving to the marker. "Its good to be back!" he declared proudly as he drove further and further from his house.

Fisher was taking a bite into some food. "Message to EVE Triple 0," he said. It went as followed:

Need to start training recruits before any prisoners arrive. At the moment anyone with military, police, or has worked in prisons is preferred. Also, not to be sexist, but no women. My men and I don't need to be distracted on the job. I am also working on one more level for guards to train. If I can get approval for it, when I get recruits who don't have my preferred background status, then I can train them ASAP.

Orson C. Fisher

Then he went to his office and started turning the rest of his facilities on. However, he only turned on levels 1 & 2 of the prison, to keep from wasting power. Levels 1 & 2 were recreation and prison workspace respectively. Orson had to make sure the machines were working properly.

As Markus neared the 000 vault he heard the shouts of much commotion. A very simple looking android called out to the Native creatures, only some of the others pre made there avatars it would seem. Markus thought to him self as he searched for Vault Keeper, it was difficult to tell apart the androids as he had only me the others in the flesh once before. He searched for a person who looked to be in charge when he he saw who was certain to be Eve 000, but she was preoccupied. Not wanting to interupt Markus waited.

Not being one to enjoy waiting, Markus approached the natives, keeping a few meters between them, I wonder if they still use the old languages, or if they developed new ones,He pondered. "Hello?" Markus asked curriously, hoping dearly for an understandable reply. Nonsense followed.

It took several minutes for the first of the descendants to comprehend what was happening as the security robots held their shields at arms length with their weapons at their sides. When the first one stepped forward, the robots said in the standard security voice output, "Step back. You are under arrest for the time being. Any attempt to escape will be punished with extreme prejudice." This caused the descendant to jump back as they looked at the machine. It took several more minutes before they started talking to each other in panic, trying to figure out why the robots weren't doing anything but keeping them there.

The Vault Keeper noticed this, and stated over the intercoms of vault 000, more to scare the descendants to talk more than anything else, "Beginning automated translation analysis." This did exactly what Avery wanted, it made them panic more over the fact a voice just came from everywhere, but nowhere at the same time. This caused the EVE unit to translate words of panic like, "I'm scared" and some of anger like "This is Bull." As they started to calm down again, Avery possessed one of the security robots and put an image of herself, Pre-EVE form of course, and approached the group. "I'm Scared. This is Bull. Are you kidding?" The descendants took now had a look of confusion all over their faces as they stared at what they must of thought looked like a mutated on of them on this weird thing.

It was then a female descendant who was extremely short approached the robot. She said something rather long, and repeated it several times, trying to see if the robots could learn. It took several moment, and when Avery finally translated it, the girl almost gave up. "My name is Aliz Von Binaka, Can you understand us?" So that is what she was saying, How would I go ab- The picture on the screen became fuzzy and a hard drive started to speed up, again she was encountering problems. doing this? I know. "My name is Avery. I'm understand." No matter how crude it was, it worked.Avery then moved the robot over to the three robots that look like they came from the prison.

As she neared, the robots played the message from Orson, EVE Unit 50. "The prison is up is it? Go back and tell Unit 50 this. We might need your services soon as a place to keep these descendants till we ca-" The hard drive sound got louder, enough so that the robots recorded it. "Learn where they are from and how to converse with them. I also authorize you to recruit anyone that you want as long as its within reason." Another EVE Units robot has arrived, better go talk to him as well. Aliz then rolled up to the rather human looking robot that she could best assume would be Julian, EVE Unit 28.

"Hello Mr. Julian. It looks like your bringing gifts, what might be in that box of yours? Is it something of value? Also, do you think that those descendants would like them?" Aliz asked while pointing towards the horde of security robots making vision inside to the descendants almost impossible. "I'm pret-" Again with the errors. ""Sure that they will love them no matter what they are." It was then that Avery heard "Hey Kids!" From what sounded like EVE 003.

"Well hello Mr. John. You do realize they can't understand you right? We-brrrrrrrrr analyzing their language right now, if you wouldn't mind using the program to make conversation with them, we should be able to speak it very quickly." Avery then saw Markus, and he said hello as well.

Only one more person that I have to talk to for now huh? "Welcome Markus. They can only understand us if we use what we translate from them, so try using the program and keep them talking so we learn as much vocabulary as possible."

Avery was then about to head back to the robots to try and talk some more when a signal put her on high alert, it was caused by a spherical robot that was receiving an unregistered signal entering the vault.

Avery turned to the robot and put up the shield and aimed the weapon towards the small robot. Avery then un-possessed the robot to allow it to do it's work. It then said in its robotic voice, "Enter your Unit name and Vault, failure to comply will be met with extreme prejudice."

The robots Orson sent out came back with a message from the Vault Keeper. After checking up on the equipment and moving around objects in the recreation room, he sighed. Damn, he thought. Thought I had some time before prisoners came. He clapped his hands and said, "Well then. I guess we better open up the prison." He pointed to four of the robots at his disposal. "You four, with me. Let's go open up the first five cell levels." They then headed to his office and started by turning on the prison. Then he and the robots pulled on the first five levels. "Why the first five levels, Warden?" one of the robots asked in an automated voice.

"Well, we don't know how many prisoners we are going to receive," Orson said as he flicked the one who asked him the question. "So we are opening the first five in case. Now, message to Vault Keeper. Send up files on everyone who has background as a policeman, prison guard, or has some military experience. I need to know their backgrounds before recruiting. Also, have her send up the natives. I'll try to contain myself. If I get frustrated, don't be surprised if I do something rash."

Julian pushed his way through, knocking all sorts of robots to the side. "I'm pre- sure that no matter if you can speak through your words or not, there is one thing that everyone speaks." The automaton set the box on the ground in front of the descendants, opening it to reveal only a small portion of the Rothschild fortune. Every speaks the language of shiny, pretty things. Especially these cavemen. "Think of it as an... investment." He said to them, uncaring that they would not understand.

The garage like doors opened out to the tunnels that would take him to vault triple zero. He drove straight through. The windshield wipers activated and wiped the rain off his windshield as he drove. The tunnels were dark, dimly illuminated by hanging lights. The thrill of the chase, of the drive had eluded him so for so long. Now he experienced an adrenaline rush as his robotic sensory faculties fed him a rush of info. 15 minutes past of him driving. Driving. Driving. Driving through the dark cavernous tunnels that would take him to the vault.

He finally arrived. Driving into the hanger that seemed to be occupied by a few human like descendants and some of his fellow eves. Even Rothschild seemed to be there. It seemed curious. What's black and white and gold all over. Mr. Rothschild in a suit, after taking a trip to his vault of gold. Sasha parked and shut his car down and exited. He watched the awed expression on the descendants faces. Likely not just from him and his automobile. It probably had to do with everything that had occurred from the encounters inside the vault.

He witnessed Rothschild giving a gift to the natives. The vault seemed to be running well. "Thank you for the wake up call vault keeper." He said to the disembodied voice. He walked to the others. "Good morning Marcus. Good morning strangers. Good morning Rothschild, business as usual I see.".

After the Vault Kepper had turned to another Eve, Markus made his way towards the animal like persons, stopping a few feet away. The Natives took a step back as Markus raised his hand suddenly onto his chest. "Markus", he said, hoping the intention was some what obvious. He placed two fingers where his throat should have been and motioned up and outwards with his hand. "English", he said, Again wondering if they will understand his intent to learn about them.

It was around that time that Markus realized they were afraid of the guard units, "Would you mind taking a step back please, Just enough so they can be more comfortable?" The guards remained motionless as Markus sighed inwardly. Looking up slowly, he motioned towards the natives, showing he was going to move closer. The native nodded after a moment, speaking in their language. Markus walked up to a comfortable distance to talk with one of them, but far enough to make his motions

The descendants looked at the amazing riches inside of the small box that the millionaire EVE put down in front of them, however a few of them noticed the EVE say something and looked at each other, all except one who sat down and started to look and grovel at the riches. Some of them started talking, and upon recognizing speech patterns and cross referencing it, It sent more words and phrases into the translator program. Stuff like "What did it say?" and "What do you think the catch is? Or is it just a gift?". One of the Descendants, the woman who was talking with Avery a little bit early, came up to the millionaire EVE and started asking a question, which the translator only got a part of. "What is the Catch? What is-" and the rest is jabber that the program noted and is looking for context in future speech.

Then a car carrying another EVE came into the vault, and when the EVE saw the natives, gave out a greeting to the vault keeper. "Your welcome EVE Unit 004, Sasha. You arrived at a good time." The EVE then continued on to greet the others.

As Markus came closer to the descendants, they first reacted by taking a step back, and as he raised his hand to his chest, and then to his throat as he said something, which they could not understand but it looked like he was trying to communicate. It was then that Markus asked the guard units to take a step back, however they didn't even respond to his request. The main reason being that it was not sent from the Administration facility or through a direct order by Avery. He then motioned that he was coming closer and the descendants nodded and started talking in their own language, however to each other. Once again granting valuable context to the translator. Avery then chimed in through one of the security robots, "I will tell the guards to back off by about 5 paces, however they need to stay within range to restrain if they should attempt anything that puts the program in danger". As she ended her sentence, the robots moved back and then put their shields back up, covering themselves from anything that should happen.

The security robot searched through the Administration Facilities records as the small robot introduced itself. After several moments, and the little robot being halfway towards the descendants did the search ended with inconclusive results as it was not in the list of EVE units to wake. It then turned towards it, and with a distinctive click of the weapon systems activating which included a 14.5 mm machine gun in its right arm being armed, it said in a menacing, yet still robotic voice."Explanation is required, you are unauthorized personal. Mr. Kenneth Brass, you are required to head into the administration facility to be taken down to the third floor for questioning, and extreme punishment should you not comply. Back-up is on its way from the security bay as we speak. You have few seconds to comply." The sudden sound of blast doors opening in areas of the vault rang out with a mechanical groan. It only took something like ten seconds for the first of the small gunship like drones to come out fully armed with duel cannons and small missiles. They were clearly marked with pre-war military camouflage as well as the United Republics of Northern Alternia (URNA), as well as the Eden Initiative Program (EIP). They flew over the security drones and the descendants, who were now back in a state of panic from the loud sounds and the heat from the jets on the military grade gunship drones flew overhead. The gunships moved towards the little robot, and were arming their weapons should anything happen.

(OOC: Continuing Previous)

Markus continued using his hand to attempt to communicate with the native creatures, motioning his hand from him self to his ears, implying he is trying to understand. He listens carefully to their chatter making sure to record every syllable and pause, matching repeated "words" and "phrases" to commonly used words in English. (Adverbs, Pronouns, ect.)

From the corner of his eyes, Markus watches the security units step back a distance, the natives seem to relax a bit. Markus let out a small smile as his sensors watched their pheromones imply a sense of relaxation, their body temperatures lowing slightly. Markus bows lightly, holding his hand out, hoping to induce a use of more subjective terms to record and cross reference. At this rate i'll have their language in a week Markus thought to himself honestly, happy to have such talkative guests. At this point Markus' had come to translate enough to restate his original hand signal, "Hello, My name is Markus", The native all step back at hearing their own language from this stranger, so soon after just meeting it.

"Ah yes, hey... bud!" Julian had no idea with whom he was talking to. "Of course. Business as usual."

He went back to the natives, talking in a broken form of their language, "No catch." He pointed to himself. "Julian. Julian Rothschild. The Aristocrat. This is what you called me." The robotic android kept switching from their language to English, trying to get across his point.

If I can get them to go back to their people and say Julian Rothschild gave them these, then I will already have good rapport with the Descendants and the rest of my plan will be able to fall into place. He thought to himself.

Jem Oswyn Finch, or Mockingbird, activated after centuries of hibernation. The first thing the EVE did was check the single message he had received from the Vaultkeeper. Skimming through the short message, he said out loud in his digital world, "First contact already. The world's in quite a mess, it seems. How'd half the oceans evaporate? Anyway, I should send down a drone to Vault double-oh-zero." Temporarily powering one of the printers in his vault, Finch fabricated a modified Parrot AR.Drone, a very old design he had managed to obtain while before the wars broke out. Before long, the quadcopter was flying down the corridors to meet with the descendants.

Upon arrival, he, or rather, the drone through which he was viewing, was greeted with a large group of robots and what appeared to be humans with various animal characteristics. "Good grief, how heavily did the descendant fabricators malfunction? For that matter, how on earth did they even get the nerves to connect and all that? Ah, whatever. I never did biology, and their tech is probably next-gen."

Then, he noticed a small fleet of armed drones floating in from some other chamber, which were very clearly frightening the descendants. They appeared to be threatening a small, legged robot, a rather amusing scene. "Gracious, this is overkill at its finest. Could you all stand down and stop intimidating the descendants over yonder? Not precisely the best first impression, is it? Oh, and for identification purposes, this is unit six eight two, vault six three four, Mockingbird."

Orson and his bots powered up the rest of the prison. He looked at all his bots. "Okay," he said. "Here is what we are gonna do. We are going to check each level and see what is suitable for solitary confinement. I have my opinion that it should be on Sub-Level 20. However, I want to see what you guys think. It could be on Sub-Level 10 for all I care. As long as we make solitary confinement a thing here." Then he pointed to one bot. "Head over to whatever vault makes the materials that we need for solitary confinement. I forget which one. I'm-a assume you know." The bot was about to tell him. "Don't tell me. Just head over there and tell them we need some materials."

Markus turned to face the aristocrat trying to talk with the Natives, shaking his head slightly. He turned back to the Natives speaking in their tongue quite smoothly, "I do not know him..." A female among the native seemed to giggle at his joke, A few of the other males opened up more to Markus' bade joke.

As Markus continued Talking and learning he realised suddenly that this one only one small group of people, and he would be capable of learning much quicker if he were to listen and communicate in a more populated area. He sent a silent instant message to the Vault Keeper "I would like to learn more about these beings and their society. I request permission to take one as a guide into a near by city and/or village." He never faltered his laughs with the natives.

The vault keeper gave orders to the security robot threatening the smaller robot to escort it forcefully into the admin building, where it would then promptly be sent down to the "Prison Vault" as the side note in Avery's database shows it as. The robot grabbed the smaller robot and lifted it up for one of the drones security drones to secure in it's ammunition compartment. The Several drones hovered for a few seconds as the twin engines warmed up, and after a few seconds let out a deafening roar as flames flicked out of the engines followed by the drones taking off through the underground facility towards the prison.

One of the drones stayed behind, this one was quite a bit larger and was roughly the size of Hind. It turned towards EVE Unit 682 and a feminine voice rang out. "Welcome to Vault zero mockingbird. I am Avery, EVE Unit 00-" It started to loop on the last zero for a few second before it continued. "0. The Vault Keeper. Your request has been granted, I shall send most of the security into standby. I will use this time to prepare long distance equipment on this Gunship. Now if you will excuse me." An audible click was heard as the gunship headed over to one of the blast doors that had opened earlier and disappeared into the abyss known as the security bay.

It was them that Avery noticed that Markus had been speaking with the natives quite fluently, more than likely from a modified or updated version of the program that she was lending the other units. Oh well. It was then that Avery received a message from him, it was a request to take one as a guide. She was already planning on sending one of her drones, so of course she would accept the request. Avery sent a message to Markus. "I was planning on sending one of my gunships with them, so your request is accepted. I request that you tell them that we shall depart in an hour to give time to all the EVEs to join us." She then took a moment before she sent another message to the EVE Units. "All EVE units, we are going to send a group to go to these descendants homelands. If you wish to go along, send whatever you will need for the journey on the train. It will depart in an hour towards the Vault 000, where we shall send the expedition." The message should get the deadlines through to everyone. It should also be enough time to manufacture anything that they might need.

Avery started up her factories, and ordered them to produce a large mobile command station that will be fitted to three of her larger flight capable gunship drones.

''Hey, wait! I'll explain!'' The little robot tried to free himself as he yelled.'' I though I was just an experiment!I'll tell you every... Were computers right? I'll send you everything I know!'' A request was sent to vault-keeper to connect EVE 404 to the network allowing access to the data about him.
As he waited for a response he only though of himself locked up for ages. Not allowing himself to be in that position after knowing there would be an expedition, the little robot sprang out several tools like drills and other blades.''PLEASE I HAVE TO GO TOO''

Markus continued conversing idle chatter and, now certain of his latest adaptations, uploaded his version of the translator before sending another message to the Vault Keeper, " Thank you Mam. I have sent you a adapted version of the Translator, It includes a direct line to my main core to allow further unheeded adaptation. It will be able to learn new words and phrases on the go." With the message finished Markus asked one of the Natives, "Would you mind showing me and some of my friends around? We are quite lost here." The young native fox nodded happily, his comrades showing their approval, while another few ignore the conversation, a fixed by shiny stuff.

A moment later , after a general consensus of acceptance was made, the young fox held out his hand and it it, was a crystal clear orb of water. No canister or container, just a orb of water. Markus glared into the Orb with absolute fascination. He quickly sent another message to the Vault Keeper, "Mam, the natives have just shown me something amazing" He included a small video file showing the floating orb, "The lack of water on the planet may have created a highly conductive atmosphere... It allows use of something quite kin to magic by the looks of this." With that Markus reached his hand out, trying to touch the orb of water, as his fingers gently stroked the surface of the water, it splashed suddenly to the ground. "Amazing." Markus said in his own language, but his surprise is clear to the natives.
