Will be finishing my app tonight, my personal job search has been hectic recently, and have been having some interpersonal issues with certain family members.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Yep. The term Oerth makes no sense to me but the App is done.

I'll be adding a list of gods momentarily.

Realm: The Ghrian - A ghostly realm just beyond the clouds of Earth where Cronnon Sliabh holds the "Sun" in between her serpent-teeth. She is gigantic and encricles the Earth, her tail is in her mouth and she is constantly eating herself and constantly regenerating. The Solar-Disk, the only part of The Ghrian able to manifest in the human eye which the mortals call "the sun". That is why the Sun is always moving across the sky, as Cronnan Sliabh is always eating part of her tail which then regrows behind her head which in essence means she is always moving forward around the world, she is representative of eternity/time.

The serpent.

Personality: Cronnon Sliabh is very detached from the rest of the world preferring to stay aloof from the affairs of Earth and focus on her own duties. However when is known to interfere she is efficient, deadly and brutal and will do whatever she can (which is quite a lot) to restore the order. She is very bitter from past incidents with the gods. She is very mysterious and reclusive, preferring the constant pushing forward of time to the company of others. However though her main form is pushing the sun forward she can relocate a lot of her power to an avatar of her choosing. She is known to be stubborn, and often will put her perceived "goal" above all else, she is willing to sacrifice things to get what she wants. She finds mortals to be time-consuming and overall petty, but she is able to easily manipulate them if she chooses.

Origination/Biography: Cronnon Sliabh was born when existence slowly was born out of the primordial chaos, she is a relic from that time. As soon as there was chaos there was movement forward, she started out small and insignificant but with every passage of time grew larger and larger until she was colossal and becoming dangerous. When the world was the new gods saw her as a threat to the perceived "New Order" as a remnant of what once was. She fought with the Gods and was ultimately subjugated. In order to curb her expansion and growth they placed her tail in her mouth. Since every part of her body represents a point in time the parts she eats are parts that are eventually forgotten by mortals - however Cronnon Sliabh never forgets anything. Though some of the Gods have forgotten when they wronged her she hasn't, and resents the fact that she has been forced to eat herself and serve the newer Gods as the carrier of their Sun which was forced upon her.

Nice app but it is missing a couple things. You need to check through the rules and the link to where your influence lies seems broken as it just sends me to a page that says the image was removed.

Though I've already got one particular case sorted out, I think we should start discussing in general, the ally/enemy situation with various gods.
Since Eastern States brought it to my attention, Tørshan is an ally of my god.

Just some suggestions, but Hezmor sounds quite malevolent, so perhaps he'd be an ally too?
Though he could just hate all the other gods. That's fine too. :p
As for enemies of Sakalthôr, possibly Razuel and Eluthiel? Since one is heroic and probably opposed to him, and the other is somewhat similar, being of honour and glory (and being a Valkyrie, from the looks of it).

A little bird told me, "Go, Go! Socialise! Talk to those fine people! And then, KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! Plunge your knife into their throats when they ain't lookin', and then burn 'em to the ground!"
Well that's silly, isn't it?

Deity Name: Arshaveni
God or Goddess?: Goddess
Aspect: Outsider
Portfolio: Dreams, The Moon
Element: Void
Realm: The Greyland. The Greyland is a strange and alien realm; completely flat and featureless but for a single crater at it's center, where Arshaveni lurks in the depths. Despite it's featureless nature, no mortal has ever perceived The Greyland as this, for the Greyland is what mortals witness when they sleep and dream. The call of the Greyland to mortal minds is strong, and as soon as they fall asleep their minds will subtly alter the Greyland to create dreams. The crater in the center is the strongest pool of this dream energy, and when the Sun has moved past on it's endless journey the dream energy shines through the barriers, creating the moon.
[url=http://i.imgur.com/8DoHTEc.jpg]Here.[url]

Image

Personality: Arshaveni is a being with sadistic tendencies; she is a vicious predator, tormenting the most vulnerable of mortals as soon as they fall asleep and their minds pass into the Greyland. So long as she is left to her pursuits, and her followers, whom she feels strangely attached to, are left to their own devices, she is perfectly content to simply continue her little game.
Origination/Biography: Arshaveni first came into existence soon after the world and Cronnon's subjugation after the first creatures began to sleep. Sleep, and the wanderings of minds during it, would eventually lead to the formation of the Greyland, and with the Greyland came Arshaveni. Arshaveni soon learned how to manipulate the dreams within the Greyland, using them to pool the wasted dream energy to a vast crater which would form the moon. Since then she has simply tormented mortals for her own pleasure, becoming like a boogeyman-type figure to many but otherwise remaining within her Greyland.

WIP - leaving this here as a reservation for god of knowledge
Deity Name: Azumure
God or Goddess?: god
Aspect: Domestic
Portfolio: Knowledge, Mystery
Element: Water
Realm: The Iridian Library

Azumure's Realm takes the form of a seemingly endless library packed with knowledge of all sorts - useful and useless alike. The "entrance" is merely a randomly selected area of the colossal structure in which Azumure places visitors. The library extends infinitely in all directions, lacking any set architectural style and seemingly breaking the laws of physics. Parts of the library are eternally burning - the books completely unaffected - while others seemingly phase into other dimensions. Many areas are flooded or buried, though it is unclear why. The one unifying feature of the library is the great spiral staircase, guarded by the High Scholars - Angel-like creatures who are said to be the former saints of Azumere's church in the Dream World. Those who wish to go to the higher levels of the library must prove themselves as worthy to these Scholars through a number of tests increasing in complexity as the staircase is ascended. The higher levels serve as a sort of Heaven for the wise, the lower levels a hell for the foolish.

When the followers of Azumere enter this realm upon death, their knowledge and experiences are "Copied" into books by the scholars. These books are then judged by Azumere's high scholars, who decide the final fate of the follower. Those who have lived a life devoted to the collection of knowledge and unique experiences are sent to the highest levels of the library as a gift of thanks from Azumere. Those who refused to accumulate significant knowledge in their lifetime are sent to the lowest levels, where they live out their lives learning in an attempt to move to the higher levels.

It is said that at the highest level - if there is one - Azumere sits at a throne of books with his Highest Scholars.

Image

In the Iridian Library:

Avatar in Dream World:

Personality:

Azumere is, on the outside, exceedingly calm and rational. His eyes carry a deep sense of wisdom, and he speaks in an eloquent manner, sometimes mentioning obscure pieces of information as a way to show off his vast stores of knowledge. However, he also carries a highly mysterious nature. This is likely due to his appearances to mortals being few and far between, but also because of his refusal to divulge too much information when asked a question. When Oracles attempt to communicate with Azumere from the Dream World, it is never known whether he will respond, and when he does, it will often be in the form of a highly complex prophesy or riddle.

On the inside, however, he is quite different. Within Azumere is a overriding lust for pure knowledge, no matter the type. Even the dullest information is a highly valued treasure to Azumere, and he will seek it at all costs. This lust can often make Azumere highly neurotic and, ironically, somewhat irrational. As might have been divulged, Azumere lacks any traditional sense of "morality." Though he has, through the Oracles, imposed a basic code of conduct upon his people, he himself does not follow it in the slightest. The code was merely a pragmatic decision, meant to stabilize his society and improve the rate of knowledge collection. To Azumere, collection of knowledge is the one true good in the world, the destruction of knowledge being the one true evil. One legend depicts him going on a great rage, destroying entire cities upon learning of the destruction of part his Dream World Library.

Origination/Biography:
Azumere was not always the rarely seen figure he is today. Legends say that Azumere used to have a great dream world library, where the world's scholars converged to form the greatest city of mankind. Self-propelled carriages traveled the streets and bottled fire burned through the night and daytime without ever going out. In the towers, great machines roared, solving mathematical problems even the greatest stewards of today fail to understand. In the sky, metallic birds carried people throughout the world at godlike speeds. Then, the armies of the god Juno appeared. The armies of Azumere and Juno fought day and night for the next five years, using metal lions that spat fire and steel birds with crashed with great explosions, like that of a volcano. Azumere, despite his knowledge and strategy, lost to Juno. Juno laid siege to the city, burning its great buildings and quickly advancing towards the library. Seeing Juno's army on the steps of the great library, ready to burn it down, Azumere used the last ounce of his strength to split the Dream World Library off of the Dimension, forming Iridia. Proud of his victory, Azumere failed to realize that a wing of the library had been left behind. This wing, containing all the knowledge which made the city possible - the knowledge of how to build metal birds, steel lions, and self-propelled carriages - was burned to the ground. Upon seeing this, Azumere went into a fury, attacking and killing the gloating Juno. Azumere then went on to destroy all the previous advancements he made possible throughout the world, effectively turning civilization back thousands of years. Realizing he had destroyed the remainder of the world's knowledge, Azumere retreated to his library, disappearing for hundreds of years.

Though he is unofficially considered an "Old god", he has not descended to the depths of depravity like his brothers. Though most of his followers dispersed shortly after the destruction during his Great Fury, he still maintains a substantial following in the East. The legend of the Great Fury is one of the oldest surviving stories of Azumere, and no one knows the god's true origin. His existence seems to date far before written records, and any oral records have been lost in the winds of time. Indeed, Azumere's true origin may remain forever buried within the catacombs of Iridia.

I ran this old RP, which was rather successful at the start:
https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?t=325913

I Co-ran this RP, and helped write the OP:
https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopi ... 1&t=330265
This was done on my old Siaos account:
Palace of Victoria, Kampala, 2090

Firing people is great fun for King Adin. Getting to see their tears, realizing that they no longer get to live in luxury as guards or Councillors or whatever they do inside the Palace of Victoria. The problem is, sometimes they don't cry. Like when Adin fired his chef, he ran off into the distance screaming happily that he wasn't going to be executed for under-cooked lasagna. Of course, he was later hunted him down and burnt on a stake in front of the populace of Kampala - but you get the point. He was HAPPY that he had to leave King Adin's glorious presence. This troubled King Adin greatly, until he realized why they were so happy. THEY WERE STEALING FROM HIM!

It was the only answer. His staff was obviously stealing from them - and are currently being broken down by the guilt that they stole from such a magnificent person! That's why the staff always look so nervous when they get near him! That's why his Iguana mysteriously disappeared!

This could not stand. The fact that they stole Bobo the Iguana and sold him was bad enough, but the fact that they lied and said Bobo was killed by his albino tigers is even worse! But how would he punish them? It would have to be a special punishment. Stealing from the perfect king is worthy of a punishment much worse than death by being burnt on a stake.

Perhaps he would lock them all up in the dungeon where he could personally torture every one of them! But wait, his dungeon was completely full after he went on that imprisonment spree during his vacation in Zanzibar. Those prisoners just don't die off quickly enough...

In that moment, a brilliant idea struck King Adin. One so brilliant that he jumped, yelled Eureka, and banged his head on the ceiling. In the most spectacular act of instant Karma, this caused him to fall down three flights of stairs and get seven stitches. His plan was to make them truly pay for selling Bobo the Iguana, in a way that would actually benefit him for once. He would use his staff and the prisoners as slave labor! This plan would grant him huge amounts of free labor for the railroads, and definitely wouldn't be immoral in anyway whatsoever. Many historians would look back at this accident and wish that it did kill King Adin, partly because he was about to implement slave labor, and partly because he also implemented a law banning all historians on the same day.
