The Land of Azria... [IC, CLOSED]

The land of Azria is… astonishing. She is beautiful, she is wise and most of all, she is glorious – Explorer’s Guide to Azria.

Welcome to the land of Azria - a land so mighty and so beautiful that one's life can't be complete without quenching their thirst - their thirst for curiosity, their thirst for beauty. The thirst is quenched only by one way - adventure. And thankfully, your life is an adventure - for you are born in the land of Azria. But before we get into any deep discussion, why not hand you in a quick tour? The land of Azria is the combination of two continents - Az, and Ria. The name was given by the Dwarves – the first civilized and the most advanced.

The vivid civilizations can be noticeable. Most in Az are men – from the Khans to the Aesilans, they fought, they have discovered and have done so much to establish Azria. There are so many cultures, together they formed Azria. Alliances were present in Az and Ria, but yet – war creeps in. The Khan are chaotic invaders – having disturbed Aesilian villages. After the annexing of Marshite territories, the Aesilians had waged war in Arkan Mountains – day by day soldiers of the Khan fade away. The Badlands is a massive patch of land – possibly the most dangerous area there could be. Rumors of dragons, caves of abandoned Dwarven machinations plague the Badlands. Lone wolves, giants and what not. But underneath, they say are riches. Gold, diamonds and anything you’d ever need. Hell, they say you can buy a goddamn country!

Trade, culture and civilization has begun to bloom now - it is the golden age of Azria. Or is it? As Aesilians prepare for war, maybe their Empire may rise. As Orcish warriors prepare for similar fighting against the Xi Dynasty. Now, the talk of the creatures in badlands sprouting up in the places? Azria is on the bout for trouble. But you, oh mighty adventurer, you will live up to your name! You will do anything to make your life better. Be a king, found a settlement or maybe steal from people as bandits. It's your choice. It's your land. It's Azria.

Azria is your sandbox - you can do anything. Provided you don't godmod, number-wank or any bolshevik of that sort. Be a king, maybe actually found a settlement, attract people to visit it. Maybe you'll be an assassin and make a world of war. Your choice. It's Azria - it's your home.

I like to use italics for no reason!!!

GODS

The Aesilian gods are said to be one of the most harmonic gods in Azria.
Aesilian-Blois Pantheon:

Zaro (Krigerjordi version is Zenith) : King of the Universe, the creator of the gods and goddesses.
Kryth (Krigerjordi version is Krig) : The sky, Zaros' son.
Lia (Krigerjordi version is Laia) : The earth, Zaros' daughter.
Tiber (Krigerjordi version is Talos) : The god of men, Kryth and Lia's son.
Aravanea (Krigerjordi version is Inga) : The goddess of wisdom and maternity, Kryth and Lia's daughter.
Aran (Krigerjordi version is Aranea) : The goddess of magic, Kryth and Lia's daughter.
Rorik (Krigerjordi version is Ivar) : The god of the stars, Tiber and Aravanea's son.
Dunthir (Krigerjordi version is Lokir) : The god of justice and honor, Tiber and Aravanea's son.
Glenmori (Krigerjordi version is Raeth) : The goddess of hell and evil, Aran and Rorik's daughter.
Darmin (Krigerjordi version is Salazar) : The god of evil creatures.
Herod (Krigerjordi version is Hec) : The god of prophecy
Liana (Krigerjordi version is Lei) : The goddess of love.

Aesilian creation myth.
First, there was Zaro. He was had no body. He was just the endless space. He realized that the creation of the universe was to begin - Zaro felt he had to be the upper being. Then, he created the sky, his son, Kryth. He created the earth, the ground, Lia. Together, they made the first humans, destined to be their children. Out came Tiber, Aravanea, and Aran. While Tiber and Aravanea fell in love with each other, Aran preferred to be happy and help their relationship.

Their parents soon created nature, trees, mountains and things. Tiber and Aravanea used their powers and made a palace for themselves. Tiber decided they required slaves. But what came out were children - Rorik, and Dunthir. Tiber decided to let them be his children. For days, the gods and goddesses admired their peaceful lifestyle - but Tiber decided he really needed to make slaves. In the midst of all this, Rorik fell in love with his aunt Aran. But such a bad match made a danger- Glenmori. Glenmori was an ugly creature, with fangs for teeth, a serpents tail and her hair was filled with lizards.

Aran was appalled, so she cast the girl out. Glenmori hid in a deep underground cave in shame. Eventually, she built her own palace there. She dug underground till the earth's end came. Then, she made her palace - she called it Rathir. In Krigerjord, they instead call it Rothir. Meanwhile, high above, two twins were born to Tiber and Aravanea - Liana. Liana was beautiful, and instantly her brothers fell in love with her. They would fight for her. Aran decided to marry Tiber, and another child came - Herod. He looked frightening. Once he grew to an adult age (gods were immortal, but they age till being adults), storms surrounded him, his body became dark fog.

Instead of being cast out, he left to Glenmori's palace. They fell in love, and their children became the dragons, and other evil spirits. But upon the god's requests, the evil dead stayed in Rathir. Tiber once more remembered his idea - to make man. He formed clay and made tiny beings, which grew to massive population - and that was how we were created (in Aesilian-Blois-Krigerjordian terms)

MODERATORS

The Land of Azria is huge. By that I mean HAKAYAKA-uge. So I can't exactly be all the NPCs, ja? I put a Wanna be a Moderator? question, and those who chose it do the NPCs in the country they are in. And are also the anti-godmod police.
List of Moderators:
  • Insaeldor - Moderator for Blois
  • Bashriyya - Moderator for Bahariya.
  • Zamani - Moderator for Btharz. (Also, is it just me or do most moderators love the B-nations?)
  • Alex Green - Moderator for Valenile.
  • Huda - Moderator for Krigerjord, Xi, Orcish Chieftain, Aesilian Empire, Gods, Badlands, the Khanate. (Most are temporary, but Badlands, and Gods are mine. Also Aesilian Empire.)

RULES, TL;DR AND SHIET

Basically, Azria is a land similar to Tamriel - because I can. It's a sandbox, so you can do anything - like in life of real. I mean real life. Only - no godmodding (e.g I killed the 5 bandit thoogs) or (e.g my settelment is built and i hve 48588 people already in it) or (e.g my army now is all empire). It sounds bad enough, ja? But we also follow RPing etiquette. There is a must of at least two paragraphs. But for some who don't want to - consult with me, and I may be generous to make it to one.

Also - you can be royalty, but not that royal. You see, in example, Bashriyya and Nuridia chose Royalty - they can. But not important royalty (Sallahuddin has concubines, and lots of wives too) similarly, Xi leader may too. You can't make yourself high above to use the preset nations - make an adventure - not a WWII RPs of one-liners. You can found a religion, form a guild or make a settlement! We'll love it if you sign up. But just remember - the Land of Azria is yours to fiddle with.

One day, about thirty years ago there was a young man who was born in Xi, his name was Dai Long. Dai Long was born to a family of farmers and lived a normal life as a hardworking farmer, until he decided that he wanted to be greater. He left one day and traveled the world until he discovered a plot of land untouched by man. He had a dream telling him to build a nation on it, and so he worked and worked until he earned enough money to buy it. He invited his poor friends, reformed prisoners, lawmakers, doctors and workers to live with him. This small colony grew, gathering resources for building and farming and gained more land until it became a legal country. Dai Long called it Yamato, meaning freedom and became its first emperor, rung from the palace in Kyoto.

Third Princess Kohaku
Kohaku was sitting at her desk, her black hair streaming behind her like a river of ink and tied back with a paper ribbon. It sharply contrasting with the patterns on the dark top layer of the layered kinono robe she was wearing. She looked out of the window of the house she was staying in, the sights and sounds were much different than they were back home. To be honest she had never seen so many blonde people before, back home in Yamato it was an extreme rarity.

Adelheid Adlai
Heidi was practicing magic with one of her friends out in the Valenille courtyard. "Get ready Radit, because I'm coming at you!" The elf princess readied her stance, her short hair blowing in the slight breeze. The elf mage a few feet away from her smiled. "Just because we're friends, Princess, doesn't mean that I'll go easy on you." the dark haired young elf smirked. They chanted words of power and bolts of magic flew by, bouncing off trees and grass.
Uru, Queen of Diamonds.
The Diamond card suit represents fire, strength and power. Sister of the Queen of Hearts, Queen of Spades and the Queen of Clubs.

Friday 6th of January
It was a normal day for Drakon, nothing unusual. He worked the shop, people came and went, some looking for bits and pieces, some looking food. He had 5 minutes where no one really came, but then the store was getting crowded, and he lost a ton of things to sell. 'Huh, I really should have bought more things to sell yesterday. Oh well!' Drakon thought. Then the store was finally closing, after what seemed like a month! He was happy that the store did so well today, as he had enough to buy more things to sell, and do repairs/renovations around the store. He went out to find dropped bits and pieces, but couldn't find any. He had to wait till his new supplies came from the Aesilan Empire.

Saturday 7th of January
The next day, the store was closed, so no looking after the store much. He just went out, and caught up with his friends. He missed how before he didn't have to have a single care in the world, and just hang out with his friends. But alas! Those were the old days. He then was looking for his supplies. A trading caravan came, but no supplies. "Where are my supplies!" Drakon said, "With them Orcish bandits!" the caravan rider replied. Drake new better to go on an adventure fighting orcs, but it had been so long since he was on the free open world! And without mechanisms, the dwarves were terrible fighters. He gathered all the bits and pieces he had and found, and started to build. This was half the size of a tree, he didn't know if he could pull it off, but his hands started flying here and there. He tended to build a Dwarven Juggernaut.

Hale Alborth
Hale Alborth was a general in the Krigerjord army, however at the moment he was serving a different role. At the moment he was ambassador Alborth, making his way to Valenile on his King's behalf. There had been a number of small skirmishes between the two countries over territorial disputes and the King of Krigerjord water Alborth to settle it. Alborth was an unusual character, having risen to the rank of general at only the age of 21. He was incredibly skilled and also quite charming, which was why he was named ambassador as well. Also his friends often playfully reminded him that being very handsome didn't hurt either. Hale had long brown hair that flowed naturally and soft green eyes, as well as having quite a handsome face. Many in the royal court wondered why Hale had yet to take a wife, as many noble beautiful noble women had offered their hands and even tried to seduce him on occasion. Hale always said he felt he wasn't ready for marriage, and it wouldn't be fair to his wife to just marry for the sake of it. However he did believe he wanted to settle down eventually, he just hadn't found the right partner.
Soon Hale's ship arrived in Valenile and a horse was waiting at the port for him so that he could ride to the capital. After a short ride Hale arrived at the royal castle and approached the gates, flying his country's flag and a white flag of peace.

Sultanate of Bahariya

Emira Ayesha Rahaf Al-Salahuddin of the village, daughter of Sultan Salahuddin II and one of his many concubines, Rahaf Khouri known for her kindness and love, she was murdered by an Elven terrorist group, which would have a great effect on Ayesha, Ayesha grew up in the royal palace with several siblings, she was 21 now and had just decieded to begin speaking her opinion as she believed that the Elven minority which was very small posed a threat to her country and also to humankind, Ayesha had pure hatred for Elven, Dwarven, Orcish and Marshlanders who she views as enemies of Bahariya and even enemies of humanity, Elves had to be killed.

Ayesha sat in her room on her floor cushions talking to her friend who was smoking a Hookah, her friend then left the room as Ayesha had to leave now, Ayesha begun to get dressed putting on eye make-up and putting on fine silk garments, she was freshening up and was just about ready to leave, normally she would have put on a hijab, but she wanted everyone to notice her.

as she was transported in a royal carriage, she walked out, she ordered her driver to stop
She walked into the local Bazaar many were fascinated with her, as many local men eyed on her beauty.

she walked into the middle of the Souq and began to make a speech

"My fellow Bahariyans, how long will you allow the parasitic and evil Elven devils, the Elven devils have been plotting to destroy our precious and noble Bahariya, the Elven devils live right across the border, some of them even live in our land in our own border right near the enemy border, for all we know they could be arming themselves and plotting to destroy Bahariya beautiful civilization, I urge you as a Princess to protect Bahariya from Elven hordes, slaughter the Elves!"

While others clapped, most just ignored it, some were disturbed, the ones that clapped she commanded to come over to the Palace, they would be recruited for a new force, the Fedayeen!

Sunday 8th of January
He needed more parts to complete the Juggernaut, so he had to buy from other stores. He loathed doing this, as many would tease that he couldn't get enough parts for himself. But luckily, there wasn't much people in shops today. Some shops were open, but not many. He bought about 15 gears, 15 bits and pieces and 15 screws and whatnot. He opened his tool case, and started on the project. Until he was half way there, he noticed he didn't have one part, it was a diamond. He stifled a curse, and just knew those orcish bandits had a diamond. "Krikonigh, those damn orcs!" He muttered to himself. He wasn't ready for an adventure yet, no, not yet.

Monday 9th of January
He had to go around the nearby towns to get enough things for the shop today. He had moved the Juggernaut write next to the door as decoration. Today was just normal, no big sales. Just the same as all the other stores. When the store was empty now and then, Drakon whipped out ink, a book, and a quill to start a novel! Today these times were as common as the customers. He had days like that, where nothing special, but he did good on sales. He also was interested in learning magic. He preferred healing and defence, but knew destruction was necessary. There's always a time to take on new interests.

Good job guys, this is active!

Aurid Palace, Aurin.
Faendal.

I had sent my messenger to purchase some flowers. Of course - they were made to my liking. The beautiful red roses, almost as red as the lips of a beautiful, sexy Elf. Of course, my mind bounced to Adelheid - she was the girl of my dreams. The messenger came back - but with terrible flowers! It had one flower missing! Imagine that. I shouted at him, cursed him and nearly hit him with a knife. Of course, it missed. But the aim was better than most of my hits - it was a meter away from him. Nevertheless, this time he brought the flowers.

I combed my air, brushed my teeth and covered myself with Elven perfume. The smell of the perfume filled my nostril - and I knew Adelheid was going to like it. I went there, with my beautiful horse covered with rubies and diamonds. We were known for our riches, of course. Once I came to the palace, I walked in and bowed to my aunt, Alin. Her husband, my uncle, died a long time ago. But nevertheless, I walked into the courtyard. I scowled. One of her friends were there. As I began to speak, I was nearly hit by a firebolt! It whizzed past me and burnt a part of my coat. Now I was angry - but instead of shouting at them, I calmly said, "Hello, Adelheid.". I grinned.

Aurid Palace, Aurin.
Queen Alin I.

Today was a normal day. I sat silently, nothing to do. Of course, that annoying boy, Haefal came. Zaro help me, but I think executing is the only thing I can do. I wonder if I should have spoken with Adelheid. She was a nice young girl - but she barely spoke with me. While that is saddening - she has her own adventures. I, on the other hand, am bored. But then again, the nice beautiful gifts are not so bad. But of course, they are from nobles wanting to marry me. Think of that - marrying a noble queen, old as it may seem. I felt it was only for money, and that made me feel terrible. I still miss Aurid. He was the best husband anyone could have, really.

Now, I hear a Krigerjordian wanted to meet us. Blast it. The damn uncivilized Krigerjordians. I heard they murder us Elves in the border. The Valenilean Sea is ours too, and I don't expect them to take it. But if they do, it's time for war in Azria. And damn sure there will be one. He came with two flags. Prideful, I thought. As he came in, he followed Valenilean customs. He bowed, and he would stay like that - speaking through everything. I studied him - he was quite handsome. I wondered if Adelheid would like him. But Haefal was there - I didn't want to mess things up. "Who are you?" I asked, in a commanding voice.

al-Bahariya Bazaar, Bahariya.
Sahin ibn Rasheed.

Today was a good day. I hunted down a lot of elks near the border, and got about 1200 Debens. Lucky me, I guess. However, we were interrupted by a princess. She looked beautiful, and as he speech continued, I looked down at my bow. Could it kill elves? I wondered. Maybe it could. I never like them - they were always so "royal" above all things. He was afraid of the Dwarves - especially the time they invaded the Krigerjordians for calling them stupid. I laughed - stupid Dwarves. But at the same time, I was worried they were going to invade Bahariya, that is, if they can read my mind.

Once the princess finished, I hoped she would fall in love with me. Of course, that was stupid. But what if it happened? What if all of that happened? It would be amazing. I raised my hand. "I would like to kill Elven scum. They are evil and deserve a good death!" I shouted. I took out my bow and told, "This will kill Elves, Orcs and Dwarves alike!" I forgot to add the Marshmen, but who cares? The Aesilian Empire could easily kill them all. I was soon wondering whether they would behead me for speaking to the princess or award me a thousand times for joining her.

He sharpened his sword and prepared his equipments.Soon,a Client will offer him another job as words around the streets have it,that Claudius is well talked about by the peoples.Even guards and security has been tightened significantly due to Claudius spreading deaths across the street.

Moraima was doing what she had done a lot lately, reading in her quarters alone. There were no men around so her rust colored hair flowed free down her back, from its darkening top you could tell that the henna was growing out of it. "Vanis aparo." Moraima whispered, waving her hand. The flower pot on her desk shook before disappearing with a pop, then reappearing on the window sill with a purple light. "I did it!" she cheered to herself. Suddenly a feeling came over her and she decided to go look for her sister Ayesha. She knew that the older princess had gone somewhere but she didn't know where. As Moraima got up, a new figure walked in wearing pink hijab, it was Neelufar, one of her many sisters. Moraima held up her book, grinning with pride.

"I learned a new spell today!" the 17 year old said and then Neelufar nodded. "That's very good, but I feel that you need to go find Ayesha and fast. She went to the town square to recruit for that horrid army of hers!" Her dark eyes were locked on Mora's gray ones. "Moraima, she's gone insane! She wants to exterminate innocent people, and she's clever. I doubt you'll be able to keep your powers hidden from her for very long. You have to go find her, Mora! You have the same mother, she'll listen to you." Moraima got up. "I'll be back." Dressing quickly in a fine silk gown and wearing a matching gray hijab trimmed with gold, Moraima mounted her black horse. It was no secret that Ayesha hated magic, and all those who practiced it. However she mostly hated non humans the most of all. Thinking of the lives that could be lost, Moraima urged her horse on to the bazaar. "Oh gods, please let me make it there in time!" she screamed in her mind.

Adelheid Adlai
Adelheid noticed suddenly the strong smell of perfume behind her and she turned around to investigate the source. It was a stunningly gorgeous she elf with a bouquet of roses who was nearly hit by a magic bolt. "I'm sorry miss, are you alright?" Heidi, as all her friends nicknamed her, asked. She then heard the lady greet her with a seductive smile. "Hello there yourself." Heidi greeted back with a coy blush when all of a sudden she saw Queen Alin come out. Alin was kind enough to take Adelheid in and adopt her as a princess when her parents were killed. The queen herself had been devastated by the loss of her husband, which Heidi in her guilt realized that she probably hadn't helped by keeping to herself all the time. Just then a man with brown hair had arrived at the castle flying a white flag and the flag of the Nordic people. A lady told Adelheid who then told the queen. "Mother, an ambassador for you!" Heidi called to Alin.

General Hale had reached the gates of the castle when a woman he knew to be Queen Alin I. He bowed before her , which was custom in this land. He could tell by the Queen's tone that she wasn't very happy to see him. He knew their two countries did not have good relationships at all, most elves would probably hate the sight of him. Hale though didn't hate the elves like his fellow countrymen did, this was no doubt the reason why his king had sent him to treat with them. He kept himself bowed as he spoke to Alin. "Hello your majesty, my name is Hale Alborth. It is an honor to meet you. I am sorry to hear about your husband. I've heard that he was a great king, I'm sure his passing was hard for you." He said to her sincerely. I am here to speak on the behalf of the king of Krigerjord. There has been some disputes between our people and he has sent me to ensure that there would still be peace between our peoples. I hope that we can speak and come to a conclusion we are both happy with. The king also hopes that my presence here might help heal our damaged relationship." He told her, still bowing.

Aliyyah, Al-Bahariya Bazaar

Princess Ayesha Salahuddin

Princess Ayesha saw the man with the Bow and shouted "Join us brother, you are a true Mujahid, you are welcome to join the Fedayeen!" , the Princess then said "In fact because of your clear and righteous patriotism you may join my special team! Ayesha saw Moraima coming, and began waving as it amused her to see her sister coming,

she walked over to Sahin ibn Rasheed and said "As-salamu alaykum" with a smile on her face, she was looking for the finest warriors in all the land to join her Fedayeen, and this man seemed like he could lead the future raids she was planning against the Elven peoples.

Karion Mello
al-Bahariya Bazaar, Bahariya

Karion had been watching from a corner and was smoking a pipe, he noticed how different this part of the world was compared to his. Though he didn't like magic, but he had to admit that this princess was very anti magic. Someone that the Templars could approach and possibly expand into this region of the world. He stood up and put out his pipe and walked over to the crowed and shoved his way through some of the locals. "I will join this, but I must first get an audience with your father. But our two goals are very similar mi'lady, so if you will have me once this mission is over I believe that I will join you," informed Karion as he bowed to show his respect to her once he was in a open enough area. He definetly looked like an Aesilian, he wasnt sure how well that he was going to be welcomed here.

Moraima saw Ayesha wave to her but noticed that her elder sister looked more amused than truly happy to see her as the younger princess waved back with a sad smile. She then noticed what appeared to be a foreign man, an Aesilian by the looks of him walk over to Ayesha and pledge his support. Moraima felt her heart drop in her chest as more people wanted to join this army. This wasn't right, they were all the gods' creatures and nobody deserved that. She saw this man was mesmerized by Ayesha's beauty, like all the others. Moraima asked around the crowd, wondering how many people were involved in this.

Heidi got ready, dressing in a new gown and combing her short hair before joining the queen to receive the ambassador. It was well known that elves and the Nordics despised each other, Heidi called them Nordics because their full name was too long. She scanned this man with her eyes and noticed that he was quite handsome but the queen looked angry with him. "Mother?" she asked the queen softly in concern.

Kohaku was traveling with her Yamato entourage, she stepped into her rickshaw and decided to head for the elven lands. It was known that elves were being persecuted all over Azria and Kohaku felt that something needed to be done.

City of Aliyyah, Al-Bahariya Bazaar

Princess Ayesha Salahuddin

Ayesha handed Sahin ibn Rasheed a few gold coins, she then looked at the Templar and said "What brings you here foreigner? How are you worthy of my father the Sultan, moreover what makes you think I do this with his permission, he is a very busy man." Ayesha was known to be suspicious of many things, she then spoke "Well, if you want to join me, you may, but first I am going to need to know your credentials. "

Karion Mello
al-Bahariya Bazaar, Bahariya

"I mi'lady am Knight Commander Karion Mellon, that name alone should be enough. But if that doesn't, you obviously know that I am a templar and again our goals are similar though you take it to a whole new level. Now as to if I know if your father knows. I don't, but I don't think your as stupid as most royalty when it comes to wits. Plus I said I need to see him, I never said you did it. But I don't care. Cause what you did most royalty would be turned in on the spot. But your not normal royalty. But here is my credentials." Informed Karion as he handed her Hus papers and bowed once more.

Bazaar in the City of Aliyyah, in the nation of Al-Bahariya

Princess Ayesha Salahuddin

She giggled

"You are quite the warrior I see." she smiled "you are hired, I will take you to my father a true and righteous man, he personally does not care about what I am doing, but it is important he knows the dangers of magic." she then said "I under stand you come from a noble order of warriors, this impresses me the most, and God willing if we are to defeat non-human Elven trash, we will need warriors of your stature."

Moraima looked around. She had to say something, she felt totally ignored. And also she needed to stop Ayesha, she needed to talk to her. When Ayesha giggled and called the elf folk trash, Moraima visibly shifted uncomfortably, bit her lip and her nails dug into her palm from where she clenched her fist under her robe.
"Sister! Fancy seeing you here, it seems like you've been busy. Say, do you mind if we talk alone?" Moraima said, not even acknowledging Karion.

Ayesha then said "Well, Commander we may talk more later, I have family business to deal with." she winked at him, smiled very happy to see her, "Sure thing Mora, what is it? Is something troubling you, you don't look good." Ayesha looked at her younger sister with empathy, "What is it, Mora?" this was something that Ayesha always cared about and that was family, Ayesha was known to be fairly reasonable in discussions.

"Very well, I will wait for you by your carriage." Informed Karion as he walked over. I really hope she isn't expecting an army, but gaining her favor might be a good thing. Cause we are only 300 strong, but I guess we will find out soon. But he had to admit she was beautiful. But work came before personal feelings. Only the divine know what's going on and the plan for humanity. Karion had a feeling that the two sisters had different opinions. But it wasn't any of his problem, so best to stay out if it. But his senses were sensing magic near him, but from whom he didn't know.

Wow, am I really that readable? I made it too obvious. Moraima chided herself mentally before she spoke to Ayesha. "Well sister, Neelufar told me about your speech and I decided to come down and see it for myself. You were very determined and you know I've always respected your opinions but there is something I have to say. I know you have a hatred of elf folk and magic users but is it really necessary to...slaughter them all? I mean they are the gods' creatures too, and it's not like they've done anything to us personally. Have they? Has something happened that I don't know about, why you feel like this?" Moraima asked her. This is one of the few times she publicly opposed Ayesha's views, she loved her sister very much but what she was preaching was genocide. And Moraima was scared for their relationship and for herself. She knew Ayesha loved her family, but Moraima knew that if her older sister knew her secret she would have no empathy for her and probably treat her like everybody else she hated. Mora knew that she hated hiding secrets from her family, but it wasn't like she could go to Ayesha at this stage and say, Guess what sis? I know you hate mages and everything else but I have a big secret! I'm a mage too! There was no way she could say that! Anyway, Mora wanted to get to the root of this problem, figure out why Ayesha hated magic and hopefully save her before it was too late.

Aurid Palace, Aurin.
Faendal.

Faendal's temper was tried. "Perhaps you do not recognize me, princess?" He said. "It is I, Faendal I. Your cousin." He said. He blushed when he looked on at her, and perhaps his cover was blown. But before he can speak, Heidi spoke up. He looked on to the sky. He had prepared a beautiful coral ring. It was the day he was to propose to her. If it got blown, well it would be hell for Faendal. He was a greedy boy, him. Nevertheless, he just looked on at the courtyard, before entering the throne room.

Aurid Palace, Aurin.
Queen Alin.

Queen Alin was already notified, and continued to glare at the man. "Well, if I may lecture you," She continued. "A wound can heal but is still scarred." She stopped. "And while I thank you for trying to help me gain some contentment. But as I said, a wound can heal but it is still scarred. What the Bahariyan and you... despising Nordics did to OUR land, was terrible. Raping our women, killing the children and killing all sorts of men." She was already angered. Her husband died during the war. He lost his brother from a Nordic arrow, he lost his first son through a Nordic one too. Alin was the parent of that boy. Now, she hated the Nordic people.

"However, I may yet prove merciful to your race. While you prove formidable foes, I can do this for the Elven people. Tell me more.". She didn't want to be brash in front of her children and court - but the previous war, long before - when Heidi was but born, and her father and mother killed and raped by Nordic soldiers, she took her in, hoping to care for someone when her husband died.

al-Bahariya, Bahariya.
Sahin ibn Rasheed.

"My lady, I want to say some more." I shouted, running to her carriage. "First - I hope a better bow and arrow awaits me - this is a weak hunting bow nevertheless. Similarly an armor and a dagger would be preferred. Nevertheless, there are rumors of murders in Old Scote, far in Blois. This assassin can be of our use." Sahin finished, before walking away into his home, skinning pelts and curing meat. His father having disowned him, at minimum paid for his house. He was lonely - having no wife or children. But hunting, gave him peace. Hell, fighting with his bow gave him peace.

Hale could tell how deep the Queen's hatred for his people was. He knew that his was no easy task. He and his king had never quite got along, Hale wanting better relations with the elves and all. He wondered if this was some sort of punishment to try to get him killed. However Hale felt for Queen Alin. She had lost much from the war between them. "I understand if you hate me your majesty, its only reasonable considering what you've lost." He said calmly to her. I never agreed with the war, nor the criminal acts our men took part in. I have no excuse for that and never tolerate it under my ranks. It may mean nothing to you, but I truly do want peace, and hold no ill will toward your people." He told her sincerely. He looked up at Heidi, she had an unusual look, but Hale thought she was quite beautiful. He then turned back to the queen before his stare became awkward and spoke to her. "The king suggested that I stay here if you permit it, so that we can learn more about each other, and maybe learn to be friends." He told the queen, looking into her eyes respectfully.

Évariste "Émeric" Travere

The fresh air was filled with the aroma of graps and olives from the presses that existed throughout this region. The winelands were of a more cultured yet rural Beauty and so were the people. All had wealth thanks to the regions extensive trade with the outside and while yes wealthy were a humble folk none the less and ones who invested there wealth in the farms and the next generation. I was but a sole travelar and occasional sword for hire when food was tight. I was a standout in this land. While I was of the same nation and blood as them but my leather Brigandine, leather Cuisses, and a intricately designed steel Spaulders and steel Couters. On my back was a Quiver and slung over my shoulder was a Yew longbow with several long arrows with long sharp piercing arrow heads. And on my belt was a Longue Poignard which was simply a steel blade which was shorter then a short sword but longer the your average dagger.

I looked down besides me at a small stream that ran aside the road from uphill. I could see my own reflection with my face coming into frame. My face was while young, very gruff in its look with my short sandy bland hair cut in a typical tight cut which complimented my more boxy shaped head very nicely. I however wouldn't have called myself a beautiful man but I was not a homely one ether. I took away from my own reflection just long enough to see the little farm towns Tavern. I was a simple building with a wooden exterior and was a two storied building. I could feel my stomach calling me to the tavern for food and drink which controlled my actions and walked me into the tavern.

The tavern felt much bigger on the inside then it looked on the outside and was packed with locals and travelers alike drinking their wheat beers and eating there hardy meals of meat and bread. I took my seat like any other patran and was asked what I wanted by the young blue eyed wench.

"A wheat beer and some Cassoulet stew?" I asked as she simply nodded and went back to get me my food and drink. And beside me was an older man who easily had noticed my particular look. He moved his glance away and stared back at the bar. He looked rather unhappy and will little joy in his body language. Once my wheat beer had arrived I took a sip and struck up a conversation.

"Something on your mind?" I asked him in a calm and fairly joyous vocal toning to my speak.

"Oh it's nothing boy" he said in a fairly skittish manner.

"I know something's up, I'm a traveler of versions talents and could probably help you out with anything you need." I told him again with a warm voice.

"You look like a mercenary"

"You'd be right"

"You hear about that thousand coin bounty on that assassin?"

"Can't say I have" i said with my ears buckling and twitching my ears up in intrest.

"Well there is an assassin in the city just down the road, the king is offering a thousand coins for his head. Although I haven't heard of anyone that's been willing to take on the bounty." He told me looking at me with blank grayish eyes.

"Well, sounds like I've got a bounty to collect. Have my food I've got to make time before sunset." I said with a slight laugh as I downed the last 3/4th of my beer and placed down a few coins to pay for my meal. Time for money and riches and it's just amd hour away.

Moraima gave her sister a hug back, happy to see a trace of the old Ayesha if only for a little moment. "I love you too. Well I see you are busy here. I'll meet you at the palace then, you want me to tell Father you'll be arriving?" she asked, mounting her horse.

In the Elvenlands, Heidi immediately blushed at her own mistake. "Faendal! I'm sorry I didn't recognize you, I mean from the smell I assumed that you...that you were a woman." Heidi said, she couldn't help but laugh at her blunder even though Faendal had a foul temper when he was mad. She had cared a great deal for him since they grew up together

Kohaku finally arrived at the Elvenlands and the first thing she thought of was to go and greet the queen. Her flowing kimono and hair swished around in a rainbow of colors as she got out of the carriage when it stopped in front of the castle.
