I must personally thank all the RPs that involve mutants or else I would not have gotten this idea. Also this is an old Rp I used that never caught on so hope for the best. Now I feel it is similar to Infamous.

Chapter One: Beginnings

The advance of genetic engineering makes it quite conceivable that we will begin to design our own evolutionary progress.- Isaac Asimov

Humanity when we entered this new millennium, were at the dawn of a Scientific Boom. With the advent of the Human Genome Project, the clone named Dolly, and the rise of Genetically- Modified crops, we were now the masters of the world. We were now God in human flesh, able to control the very environment with ease. We crossed the line of whether it was ethical long ago, in the name of scientific advancement. Now as we approach the year 2019, humanity now must face something that was created by very hands. Our creation was demanding recognition. This creation looked human, acted human, and talked like a human but they are not human.They came seemingly out of no where and have powers that can only be described as supernatural. They are either our way to transcendence or our horsemen of the apocalypse.People fear the unknown, what they can not understand, and that fear becomes hate. They are hunted by the authorities, tracked down, tagged, and then dissected. According to United States Government are known by the scientific name of homo mutans or Tier One Hostiles but the creations have come to called themselves the Forsaken.

These Tier One Hostiles are what we desired to be the perfect form of ourselves. Physically beautiful with increased intelligence, sight and hearing. They age slower than us, approx. 3 times slower after reaching the age of 25. However what makes them a threat to man is there "Unnatural Biological Abilities" what the average person would call supernatural powers. Although they are not hated by the average human and are being chased by a black ops divisions and shadowy governments, there is a growing amount of sightings.

History of Homo Mutans

Long ago in our pasts, these Forsaken existed. They were gods in our eyes, but for an unknown reason they died out.

It is well known that eleven million Jews, Communists, and Slavic People was massacred in the event that became known as the Holocaust. However the Operation known as Reine Aryan is what started this change of events. Led by Doctor Hanz Färber, and the secretive Ascension Group began to experiment on the possibility on creating an Aryan Race. Using varying amount of chemicals and formulas, the Operation was deemed a failure as many test subjects simply died from Genetic Breakdowns, however there was still some promising results on young children who had a one in 768 in not dying. After World War 2 ended in a German Defeat many scientists defected to the United States in Operation Paper Clip.

The Central Intelligence Agency in the 1950s took up the Operation an tested many State Prisoners. This ended in utter failure and the Operation disaster and had 98.5% fatality rate. However in 1953, with the discovery of DNA and the beginning stages of Genetic Testing, the project began to show promising results. An isolated gene of special importance, the German Scientists and Färber created a serum that could in effect activate the gene within our bodies. Children were way more likely to have the gene activate itself, but a few adults showed promise. While testing himself, Färber himself discovered that he could potentially activate the gene and soon after disappeared with vials of the serum. With his disappearance, poor funding, and questionable morality, the project shut down.

With the advent of Genetic Engineering in the 1980s, the National Security Agency(NSA) decided that the Program might be worth while. 250 hundred babies were extracted from their hospitals at birth and were exposed to a modified version of Färber's design. With the few that survived the exposure, their DNA was tested and it was later discovered that a certain few had that DNA Gene(known as the "God" Gene) were able to survive. This Gene appeared to have mutated during the exposure and was going to be manifested or activated during Puberty. It was theorized that the gene was once active in our gene pool, but since it was recessive gene, it slowly died out. But with Färber's serum, not only did it activate the gene, it made it a dominant gene. Adults were tested but only Färber had the serum that could activate it in a few lucky adults. The NSA Director excited by this development ordered a round a clock abduction and exposure of the genes to babies with the gene. However the NSA realized that they could not simply house the hundreds of Children Exposed between the periods of 1985 to 2000. So it was decided that they would live their lives until age 15 and then be extracted. All these abductions took place around the world and when it came time for extractions, it was an almost near success. But during their detention at Plum Island, the facility was attacked by an unknown third party in 2007, allowing the youth to rebel and escape into New York City.

Now we are back at 2019, the dawn of transcendence.

BIO: Färber was a very gifted student from the beginning and many of his teachers noted that he had intelligence well-beyond his years, however when they talked about his personality they stated that it was rather odd. Many note that most of the time he had a cool, calm demeanor and never really showed any emotion, but when it was necessary to stir the hearts and minds of his constituents, then he was able to deliver speeches of passionate fury and emotional power. He always seem to look down at you and had a sense of elitism that always surrounded him, but it could be argued that it was deserved. For he was always the smartest man in the room, and could maliciously cut you down and he didn't even raise his voice. After graduating from Heidelberg University, he studied ancient Teutonic manuscripts and there he learned about the so-called supernatural. Many think that such powers were mere fantasy, but Hanz theorized that it was possible that they were another type of species that went extinct. Although ridiculed during the Wiemar Republic, he gained a substantial following within the Nazi High Command and Scientists. Although he thought hunting for blonde and blue eyes was a waste of time, he played along. When Reine Aryan became reality, he created the Ascension Group to help with the next step of human evolution and they were based at Auschwitz. From the onset their was problems with the test subjects in that many died with genetic breakdowns, but what he found interesting was that children were more able to handle it. With the war coming to an end, he fled west lest he get caught by the Russians.

In 1947, Hanz was brought into the United States with Operation Paperclip under the name Richard Adler. For a time he seemed in a rut until the discovery of DNA in 1953. Of course it all made sense for he had to think smaller. With the help of the CIA, he started working out of Asylums and Orphanages, and in an early form of genetic testing discovered a dormant gene that few had and had some special properties to it. To that end the Adler Serum was created. What he discovered was that ordinary humans would die from exposure but children with the gene would live and would manifest during puberty. Having growing tired of working with his CIA Handlers, he disappeared without a trace. The CIA looked desperately for him but the trail was cold. Then without warning all the document pertaining to the Operation was destroyed an agent who felt as if he was being forced to do it in his mind. To that end the Operation was deemed a failure.

Right before he disappeared, Adler tested himself for the gene and discovered that he did have it. So he injected himself with the Serum, only to discover the ghastly things it did to adults who had the gene but who already gone through puberty. Horribly disfigure, but with great power he went underground. In the 80s, he met a a struggling pharmaceutical CEO named Walter Blackwood, who was enticed by his powers and intelligence. Using his guidance he made Blackwood Pharmaceutical Company one of the largest companies in the world, and gave the Mutant power and influence. He was able to reverse his appearance through years of genetic therapy and was able to gain double agents within the US government. There he learned of the NSA's program and their use of the Adler Serum. They were his children, and now they were being hunted by their primate cousins. Their he realized his mission his goal, he was going to save his race and kill the pests known as Homo Sapiens. To that end he possessed a NSA guard at Plum Island to simply cut the power at the Facility. His children did the rest.

BIO: Izaak was born in Poland in 1930. For the first nine years of his life he was a happy child with a peaceful life and a well off family, but everything changed when Nazi Germany attacked. The family was able to hide from the Nazis for several days, but eventually they were betrayed and taken to Auschwitz. Isaak and his father were separated from the rest of the family and put to work. His young age made his a prime candidate for Dr. Hanz Färber's experiments. Izaak was separated from his father and subjected to experiments. Isaak did not show any significant signs of powers and returned to general labor. Izaak discovered that his father had died while he was being experimented on.

Izaak continued to work at the camp before finally being liberated. He made a trek back to his old home to find it destroyed. He was able to recover the valuables that his father had hid when the Nazi invaded. he drifted around for a while before he decided to complete his education and managed to cover nine years of education in six years. He eventually journeyed to the United Kingdom to study biology. After earning his degree Sobol was approached by the CIA to come and work for them. Originally he was not interested, but upon discovering their work with Hanz Färber, he agreed. Sobol revealed to his interviewers that his power had manifested, however it had only manifested after his puberty. Sobol had developed telepathy, which under CIA training became very powerful and he became an interrogator for several years, trying to find his tormentor, but had little luck.

He continued to work for the CIA, learning more and more about the genetics behind his kin, he also discovered his own secondary ability. He could sense other mutants, he seemed to be able to sense others through a strange sixth sense with the feeling growing more intense the closer he was to the source. This helped find the odd rogue of Färber’s second batch of mutants. However as time went on, he began to feel more and more mutants, usually near young children. He began digging until he finally found out about what the NSA was doing. While not pleased with their actions, he agreed to assist them in housing and training the new mutants.

Dr. Sobol became a researcher at Plum Island, watching over the children and ensuring that they were treated comparatively well and not merely as tools. His ability to read minds made him invaluable in keeping the children calm and controlled, especially other telepaths. He was not present during the Plum Island breakouts, he had been called out after a lead on Färber had been discovered. Sobol returned to find many mutants missing and convinced the NSA to allow him to create a unit from the remaining mutants to hunt and recapture the remaining mutants rather than just finding and killing them as several others suggested. Now he heads the special squad in the larger Orion unit.

BIO: Brunner is a former CIA agent who worked extensively in black operations for most of his early career. He was transferred to the NSA after the failure of the NSA to keep the mutants on Plum Island. The rest of the intelligence community was angry at not being told of the operation and of the NSA’s failure to keep it contained. Therefore it was decided that the NSA would remain in control of the operation, but most key personnel would come from other agencies. The NSA had no choice but to accept and thus Brunner was left in charge of the newly created Orion Group in 2009. Brunner acts as the bureaucratic and tactical head of the group, never venturing into the field but instead keeping the activities of Orion under the radar of the media and other government groups.

BIO: Arnolds, like Brunner was brought in from outside the agency to lead the Orion Group. Arnolds is a former member of the FBI Anti-Terrorist unit who was specially brought in to at as a field agent. Arnolds acts field commander, usually planning and executing mutant hunting operations. Arnolds takes pride in his units track record and despises having to bring in outside help. While he has respects for Sobol and his unit, he often clashes with Sobol’s preference for taking mutants alive. He agrees that they should not be killed needlessly, however he dislikes risking his men to take hostile mutants down non lethally.

BIO: Dimitri was born in Kirov, USSR, in 1985. He grew up in the USSR in its final years, so his family wasn't exactly in good shape. He had 4 brothers as a boy. However, over time, they began dying off. His oldest brother, Pavel, died of a burst appendix, his youngest brother, Nikolai, died of malnutrition. Later on, his twin brother was stabbed by gangsters and bled to death. Only one of his brothers remains, and Dimitri has no idea where he might be, as he left Russia the first chance he got in 2003, as his parents were killed by a gas explosion. His family and home seemingly cursed, he went for America. There, he happened to met the right people at the right time, and so he took up business in the Russian Mafia. He had only one family member left, and he had no idea where he was, so he had nothing to lose. His powers, however, have a rather interesting story. He doesn't know where he got them from, but certain high-up people (Including Vladimir Putin) know, at least, they knew the means to the end. During the Cold War, the KGB managed to steal some of the American serum. He was exposed to it when he and his father went exploring into an abandoned Soviet research base. During puberty, he noticed he was somehow able to tell what people were thinking. He further looked into this, and as his years passed, he became fully telepathic. However, he as mostly kept this to himself, only showing what he found out from other people's minds when he felt it would have been possible to tell without his ability.

BIO: Kovac was born in New York, the child of Bosnian refugees. His father had died in Bosnia and his mother died from complication during birth, leaving Kovac in the care of his maternal grandfather, Salim Terzic. His grandfather would likewise fall ill a few years later and become unable to take care of his grandchild. Knowing that their was something strange about his grandson, Terzic, a former State Security Administration Agent made some calls and worked out a deal. The government would take his grandson in exchange for Terzic retaining some control and visiting rights. His contacts were able to arrange it and so Kovac was taken to Plum island. On the island Kovac was often distant from the other children by instruction from his grandfather. He worked to the best of his abilities in exchange for being allowed to visit his grandfather. During the blackout Kovac did not attempt to escape. This loyalty meant that after his graduation, he was "inducted" into the NSA to serve as an agent. Throughout his career Kovac earned a reputation as a calm and efficient operator who completed his missions by any means necessary.

Ruby can transfer kinetic energy between and through objects as well using this ability, such as transferring the increased kinetic energy from her arms to a ball by way of a cricket bat. She can also convert potential energy into kinetic, and use it to greatly increase the force of her punches and kicks.
• Enhanced Durability - Exactly what it says on the tin. This was actually the ability that developed first, and currently Ruby is durable enough to withstand small arms fire [up to .41 Long Colt] and drops from high altitude. More importantly, it enables her bones to withstand the impacts of much stronger punches than she would be able to deliver otherwise

BIO: Ruby is a short girl. And she is pissed about it. She's pissed about a lot of things, really, though it wasn't always like that. Ruby's first 5 years were pretty normal for a Korean Brit growing up in New Malden. Her grandfather had been a member of the ROKAF during the Korean War, and fought mostly alongside British pilots, leading to him eventually moving to the island in the late Sixties. He and his son, Ruby's father, had done fairly well, though not terrific. By the time Ruby was born, they were operating a small Korean restaurant near the middle of town. Not quite middle-class, but not poverty either, even with four siblings.

Then, as it often does, shit went down. Shortly before midnight on the 12th of October, 1999, the Hyeon family restaurant was robbed. Around this time, her powers started to reveal themselves, but she didn't even realize she had powers in the first place until three years later, around her eighth birthday. A few schoolyard bullies decided to pick on her and some of her friends, so she defended herself. She still didn't realize she had any powers. So it was as much a surprise to her as it was to the poor bully when she drew blood from what she thought was a rather weak punch. Even more shocking was the revelation that she had shattered the kid's jaw like it was made of lead glass.

The local police acted logically and in a way all deemed fair. And by that I of course mean they dragged her 8-year-old butt to Plum Island. because her parents apparently were unable to raise her, citing 'frequent violent outbursts'. Lucky for her she escaped with the rest.

BIO: When Andrew was growing up, he was never like the other kids, he always wanted to fly, to use fire as a weapon agaisnt bullies, but it all seemed like a dream that would never happen. His parents were barely home, and when they were, they were cruel to him. On Andrew's 13th birthday, he accidentally set his house on fire, Somehow, without knowing it, he'd used his powers. This made his parents hand him over to the NSA, to be locked away in some prison, forever. He almost escaped, by flying, desperately needing to get away, he used his other power, flying, but it was not enough. After being stuck there for 6 years, Andrew was contemplating suicide, when the island was attacked, and a riot occured. Andrew used the distraction to fly away. His only hope was to find others like him, for he did not know if anyone else had escaped during the riot.

Bio: Daniel was always thought of as a strange kid. Everyone always said it was because he said and did wierd things. He was called a freak starting in 2005.
Daniel was fourteen when his powers revealed themselves. He was in a confrontation with a school bully when it happened. The bully was talking bad about Daniel. Daniel started yelling at the bully but never finished his sentence. He didn't finish his sentence because bolts of electricity that shocked the bully so bad he had to go to the hospital. Within the few hours after, the NSA showed up and took Daniel to Plum Island.
Within the first few months there Daniel got a little better with his powers. He was able to do more things with electric and create some things. First he was able to create an electric ball. Then after trial and error he created two electric people that he made his age. One was a boy he named Sam, the other was a girl he named Julie. Those two became Daniel's best and only friends. In 2006, he made Sam get a disease that resulted in Sam's death. Even though Sam wasn't a real person Daniel thought of him as one. Daniel was so sad about Sam that he wouldn't interact with anyone, not even Julie, for a month.
In 2007 when the riot began Daniel and Julie made their escape from the place he was trapped in for three years. After he escaped, Daniel found a run down, abandoned apartment at the edge of New York City and fixed it up so it would be a suitable home for him to hide in.

Here are seven suggestions for bad guys I made so far
I am probably very wrong, but I made divided a couple of them into Tier Two. I figured the NSA would need to divide the mutants into groups to hunt and so Tier One is for mutants who are actively committing felonies, working against the nation, or threatening to reveal themselves in some ways while Tier Two is for those who are keeping a low profile and/or not committing crimes, so Tier One is a must get list while Tier Two is a will get to list. Probably wrong about that though

Codename (NSA designation): Vampire
GENDER: Male
AGE: 1600?
Ability: Enhanced physical abilities (endurance, strength, speed, etc) and "Soul Stealing" (see bio), Possibly limited mind influencing powers
BIO: Vampire was first documented as entering the country in 1998, it is believed that he had been in Germany before emigrating. Vampire appears to the basis of old Slavic vampire superstitions that became popularized by Bram Stocker's Dracula. Vampire has the ability to "steal" the lifeforce of other humans and add it to his own, explaining his enhanced physical prowess along with slowing (and in some cases, reversing) his aging process. The labs are still attempting to develop a clear understanding of this ability, and the "ghouls" that it generates. Ghouls are the byproducts of Vampire's feeding. They are mindless humans that if not directed seek out other humans to attack, Vampire seems to have limited power over these ghouls, but seems to largely prefer to either kill them himself or leave them be. Ghouls tend to expire within a few hours of turning unless in contact with Vampire. Currently Vampire is traveling around the United States and Canada feeding as necessary, but largely living as a drifter. Rather disinterested in dealing with any other mutants, preferring to keep his own company. Appears to have developed an interested in Agent Kovac due their shared roots and a possible relation with his grandfather.

Ability: The ability to hop from one body to another
BIO: George Nelson was born on March 30th, 1992 to Winston and Beatrice Nelson in Nashville Tennessee. Nelson was taken in after his parents were killed in a car crash. Nelson's older age (12) made him more combatative to the instructors. His body hopping abilities proved to be troublesome as he attempted several breakouts using them and endangered several other "students," thus he was kept isolated from the unnecessary contact. Even before his isolation, routine psychological evaluations turned up several warning signs of psychopathy. Even after he turned 15, it was decided that he should remain at Plum Island. The break out allowed him to escape and he stayed silent for several years. Eventually he resurfaced in a string of murders where the perpetrators claimed that they had no memory of the events and several instances of what appeared to be body hopping was caught on camera. Later investigation revealed that Nelson was working as an assassin for hire. His original body has not been seen since the breakout and it has been hypothesized that he might have destroyed his original body to prevent it from being used against him. Whether or not he is capable of destroying his original body remains a debated subject among the Science Department.

Ability: Mind Influence Abilities
BIO: Ucci was born on June 8th, 1979 in Utica, New York to Daniel and Jane Ucci. Ucci was a career criminal who was incarcerated in 2000 for life. He was later recruited for testing in exchange for an early release. Ucci agreed and the test proved successful, giving Ucci the ability to influence minds. Ucci used this power to escape prison. He later built up a cult around him as a prophet of god. Ucci now seems content to lead his cult and act as king, while remaining fairly low key and relatively clean. Originally a Tier One Hostile, Ucci's lack of action led to a downgrade to Tier Two.
Recommended Tier: Two (Might be wrong, but since I figured he was not actually doing anything he would be left to local forces while bigger threats were hunted unless and opportunity presented itself. But since he got his powers in adulthood I figure this will be raised as soon as...whatever happens)

BIO: Born February 14, 1989 Tobias and Francine Henley in Tampa, Florida. Henley developed her power late in 2000 at the age of 11. Originally her parents attempted to keep her abilities secret, but eventually she turned to a life of crime and her single father (her mother died in 1994) handed her over to the NSA. Henley adapted fairly well to the facility, viewing her tests as challenges, something her instructors were eager to encourage. Despite this, she still took part in the break out in 2007. Attempts to track her down ended in failure, however strings of mysterious robberies were detected in 2010, and linked back to her. She apparently still enjoys challenges and steals objects from the most highly secured areas of the country. However, Henley does appear to steer clear of government targets and prefers to keep a low profile during jobs.

BIO: Born on April 21st, 1995 to Henry and Mai Long in San Francisco, California. Long developed her powers at six and also seem to developed a love of fire and was diagnosed with pyromania. Her parents turned her over to the NSA and she was quickly sedated and transported to Plum Island. Long seemed to be content when given object to burn and was able to interact with other children if properly satisfied. Her powers alter the chemical structure of objects, thus she can turn a simple brick into a ticking time bomb. During the 2007 breakout Long disappeared. She resurfaced in 2014, but with a new issue. Long seemed to have developed a Dissociative Identity Disorder. The new personality called itself Henry Lee and became a bomber for hire, using his abilities to turn harmless objects into bombs. Thus when Long is in control, we have an pyromaniac arsonist and when Lee is in control we have a terrorist for hire on the loose.

BIO: Born on February 21st 1993 to Edward and Hannah Ryan in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Ryan Brothers were twins and both developed the same power. The brothers were very interesting subjects for the Plum scientists because of the fact that they seemed to be very in sync. The brothers developed their powers at the same time to escape a burning building in 2003 and during experiments always seemed to know where the other was or what they were thinking. The twins enjoyed playing tricks on their instructors and stealing things when no one was looking. They even managed to form a gang of sorts while at Plum Island. The brothers escaped during the breakout and seemed to lay low for several years before they pulled off their first big heist by simply walking through the bank walls and back out. The brothers are not a threat to the United States, but their inability to maintain a low profile is very worrying.

BIO: Jenkins grew up in a rough neighborhood in Chicago, where gang violence was only all too common. At school he was considered a nerd and was constantly bullied and left out of many activities. Because of this, he often spent his time alone in the school library, reading books about penguins and wishing he was one. When Jenkins was thirteen, he was sleeping in his house when he heard an intruder break into it. When he walked downstairs, he saw his parents be tortured, and gunned down, by 3 gang members. Full of rage and grief, his powers manifested and the house and the gang members were frozen. Jenkins was taken into police custody that night, but escaped. For the next 2 years, Jenkins wandered the streets, broken over his parent's deaths, and vowing revenge on the gang who killed them. When he was 15, he confronted the gang, but with only a loose handle on his powers, he killed 2 of them and froze the rest. The NSA took him into their custody at Plum Island, where he spent the next 8 years. He always wanted to get out of the island, to see the world beyond the walls of the facility, and the attack on the island and the resulting riot allowed Jenkins to disappear into the Big Apple.

Ability:

A specific form of chronokinesis, Scratch can slow or hasten objects' passage through time, however the range is rather short with effectiveness dropping off after two meters (~6.6ft), and an absolute maximum of about three-and-a-half meters (~11.5ft). He cannot "time travel", only speed things up or slow them down. With concentration, he can make a single object almost freeze in time (until concentration is broken, of course), or speed himself up to the point of dodging bullets. Casually, he can dodge human opponents with ease or turn people into sluggish drunkards. Force is not efficiently exerted to/from an object being shifted with proportion to its changed rate, so "freezing" an object and punching it to death will be quite difficult, and becoming The Flash will not suddenly make him be able to punch out The Hulk. He'll still be able to land punches faster, it just won't be any stronger and will actually be quite weakened if the "flow" change is drastic. The "faster" object will actually receive more force than the "slower" object, so protect those knuckles! In addition, running the whole body around while "flowing faster" is a bit harder due to the air seeming thicker like a thin liquid, so it's more convenient to use the power to dodge like in The Matrix than be The Flash. He can either affect specific objects (up to the size of a smartcar in total size of affected objects) or parts of objects, or a small area (human torso sized space, or a 5cm (~2in) "aura" around an object up to the size of a person).

BIO:

Nicolas grew up in a low-income household with four older brothers. Technically he's the seventh child, with twin brothers coming before him, however they didn't make it past infancy. He takes pride in the fact that he's "the seventh son of a seventh son", and considers himself to be better than everyone despite not having a large amount of things to show for it. He tended to avoid his family like the plague as well as he could for a small child, and repetitively alienated the other kids at school at all grades. At home, he was a loner and bitterly stuck to himself while being ignored in favor of the nicer brothers. At school, however, he was aggressive and occasionally violent, however he is a weakling so he usually stuck with taunting. One day like any other in middleschool, he was being extremely annoying to some older kids who were much larger than himself. Unsurprisingly, this led to a fight and the scrawny punk had an impending beatdown. The youngest child jumped into the fight, hormones raging, and was rather confused at the slight sluggishness around him. Adrenaline pumping through his veins, he didn't consider this very long and brushed it off as just that: adrenaline. He managed to dodge the many attacks and eventually come out on top as the king of the lunch area.

The "kingdom" of the aggressive nerd was soon overthrown by the United States government as his powers slowly became more and more prevalent, via the "king" getting kidnapped and thrown on Plum Island. He was quite fine with the change in scenery, happy to get away from the mildly neglectful household but a bit annoyed with imprisonment. In the facility, he was unusually cooperative in some aspects and inhumanly stubborn when it came to other tasks. Learning that he was a mutant didn't do much to help stop his view of superiority, however he learned to balance out his behavior somewhat during his time on Plum. Although, he now constantly insists on people referring to him as "Scratch" due to viewing himself better than standard humans and closer to that of a fallen angel like "Old Scratch" himself. Edgy little brat. A few years later, a massive power outage suddenly took out the facility and he viewed this as his luck of being a seventh son kicking in yet again. He casually used this opportunity to escape, along with the many other rioting mutants.

After the Plum Island incident of 2007, he lived in the underbelly of society in an attempt to be less visible to the NSA and other government forces. A lone teen on the streets of Manhattan can't make too much of a living legally, but eventually managed to find a seedy apartment that doesn't care for ID, just cash. He also managed to make quite a name for himself in underground fighting rings due to being inhumanly able to dodge. He used his fight money to pay the rent and eventually for luxury items such as computers, which he used excessively when not fighting people or looking for fights (whether they fighters in a ring or attempted muggers in an alley). Now the year is 2019, and he's living a comfortable life in his seedy apartment while spouting jokes in his fights. He's now a champion of multiple underground rings, and is beloved by fans due to constantly being frivolous even in the face of a powerful opponent. He's still very weak in terms of strength, although he's trained up good endurance, speed, and cardio now. With hope, this streetfighting experience might help in the struggle to come.

Context: Everyone in the roleplay are aliens on a gameshow. Said gameshow is about taking over planets. In this specific post, my insectoid fanboy (Hrank) stopped pestering one of his comrades and paid attention to his idol: the host of the show named Neko-me. Neko-me had just began presenting this season's target: Earth. "Terra" was described as being a beautiful paradise, full of life and water. After the planet itself was described, the humans were described as being warlike, factionalistic apes who are very good at developing/reverse-engineering technology. Their weapons were described as being primarily kinetic and explosive ones, however radiation levels on the planet have been detected to have slightly increased recently (Cold War era). Earth also is the basis for the galaxy's standard time measurements (Olympian days, years, etc.). "Skine" is an interjection from my alien's language used similarly to "heavens", "shit", or "hell". "Hell, this is bad", "Oh shit", "Good heavens!", etc.

Hrank proceeded to immediately clam up his (condescending) advice and pay direct attention to Neko-me and the display. When the blue, peaceful rock popped up and looked more peaceful that can possibly be imagined, the mantid's anticipating gaze turned to something resembling fear. Oh SKINE oh skine ohskineohskineohskine, this is bad. Baaad bad bad bad. It looks peaceful and tranquil so it's probably a thousand times worse than that rat-infested mess last season. Oooooh no oh no oh no oh n- However, the distressed expression disappeared completely once the descriptions started rolling in, and became a more analyzing and inquisitive one. Wait... our standard time is this watery planet's. This is a bit... fishy. BADUMTSS! Okay more seriously, that's odd. Very odd. Why would the galaxy's clock revolve around this backwater planet? Very, very odd indeed. Looks like we have a mystery on our hands, gang.

Hrank's expression flipped around again once the apes came on screen, and their weapons started being displayed. Spears, halberds, machineguns, tanks, BIGGER tanks! All physical and kinetic weapons that could kill just about any life ever made. It was further elaborated that these were factionalistic savages that held themselves important and killed everyone and everything who stood in the way of their gain of power and materials. This expression... it wasn't of curiosity. It was of distinct and intense glee. Hrank was rubbing his hands together like a cliché villain and began laughing like a psychotic schoolgirl. No nice boats here, only loony thoughts. Metal! METAL! METAL! IT'S ALL METAL THEY ALL USE METAL AND THEY'RE ENDOSKELETAL LANDDWELLERS ON AN OCEAN WORLD! EEEEEYEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEE~! Oh, and their factions and their greed, ohohohooo skine, this will be beautiful. Oooooh brother, this will be so much, much fun! Much fun! Terra means dirt, yes? Well, dirt to dirt!
