Grays Harbor IPU Stamp Issue

[Grays Harbor]

In celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the passage of Resolution #73, the International Postal Union, passed 19 December 2009, the Grays Harbor Royal Post is preparing a series of stamps depicting the flags of nations. As international mail is non-discriminatory of whether you are a WA member or not, any nation wishing their flag to be included is permitted. All you need do is post and say “yes” and your nation will be included in this historic stamp issue. The stamps will be denominated at 88p (NS$1,44), which is the current GHRP (Grays Harbor Royal Posts) rate for international first class letters up to 1 ounce. The stamps themselves will be issued in sheetlets of 20 each. All nations will be in alphabetical order so as not to show favour to any one nation over another. A full sheet will cost 17 Crowns 60 (NS$28,86).

UPDATE:
It has been decided by the GHRP that in order to be in line with the new postal rates coming into effect 1 JAN 2011, that this issue will be divided between 4 denominations, 2 sheets of 20 each for the 25p (Domestic 1st Class), 35p (Zone 2 1st Class), and 60p (Zone 3 1st Class), and a booklet of 14p (Domestic postcard rate). The Grays Harbor Stamp will also be available as a 25p Coil stamp.

Official issue date for the series will be 17 December 2010, and the finished stamps will be posted on or before that date. I can accept "yes" posts up until that time, so there is plenty of time for folk to be included.
