The Minoan Government has confirmed the resignation and defection of the Libyan Ambassador Mr. Muhammad O Jelban. As a result diplomatic ties with Libya have been suspended. On a related note, the Minoan Government has advised against all travel to Libya and has relaxed travel advice for most parts of Egypt and all of Tunisia.

Extra: Arrangements are now under way to evacuate Minoans from Libya. Chartered evacuation flights will be free of charge.
