Named in honor of Marcus Brachio, founder of the First Republic, the Brachio-class is a mainstay of the Saurisian Navy's declining battleship fleet. First entering service in 1939 in time for the first UDR War, the class has served well in many naval engagements over the past seventy years. Only six remain in service out of the original twelve, with three having been sunk and the remainder retired for scrap or used as target ships or artificial reefs.

Dubbed after Captain William Duckian's famous flagship, the Silver Claw-class is an Arsenal Ship, capable of launching missiles at targets hundreds of miles away. Despite its terminology, it is not a true dreadnought, for it has no large-caliber guns in its arsenal. All of Saurisia's traditional battleships were decommissioned in the 2030s, 40s, and early 50s and were either scrapped, sold to other countries, sunk as target ships, or commissioned as part of the Navy's Reserve Fleet.

The closest equivalent the Saurisian Navy has to a battleship class, the Ichthyosaur-class is a mainstay of the fleet. While the Velociraptor-class, also considered a mainstay ship, is more numerous, the Ichthyosaur-class has more firepower, possessing significantly more main gun batteries, proton torpedo launchers, and point defense weapons.

The Dembyrg class is intended to provide the Royal Cascavian Maritime Forces with experience in CATOBAR carrier operations before a larger class of CATOBAR super carriers, currently in the early stages of development, enter service sometime in the near future. At the same time the Dembyrg class will extended the defensive capabilities of Cascavia’s colonies, with at least one planned to serve in each colonial naval division.

Looks good but the airwing looks lacking. You want some dedicated AEW aircraft. Also would reccomend having some heavier dedicated stike aircraft and maye some ASW aircraft rather than just a bunch of what I assume are multiroles.

The crew seems a bit on the smallish side as well. For a ship that size I would expect a crew of about 3000-3500 including air wing personnel. The size of the air wing seems about right, but The Corparation is right, a few AEW, refueling, and strike aircraft may be in order. You could probably fit an air wing of up to 48 on there.

Would equipping Cormorant Squadron something along the lines of the A-7 Corsair II or the A-6 Intruder fulfil the need for a more dedicated strike aircraft or would a heavier aircraft be required? As for the addition of anti-submarine warfare aircraft, I think that the four helicopters will be sufficient. In colonial service the Dembyrg class will operate in battle groups alongside four dedicated ASW corvettes, seven other vessels with a limited ASW capability and around eleven more ASW helicopters

Now that you mention it the complement does seem a little small. However, after going back and comparing the Dembyrg class to aircraft carriers currently in service in real life I would think that it would be around 2000 and not 3000.
