What Does YOUR National Flag Mean?

The black-and-gold of the flag are the national colours of Dyste, representing the Royal Family. The dragon in the middle represents out Draconic heritage.

The symbol circling the flag are the Eight Elements of Dyste, representing each type of elemental power and type of Draconid. Starting from the top-right, going clockwise, they are: Water, Earth, Darkness, Cold (Ice), Lightning, Wind, Light, and Fire.

The red of the flag represents the Trentican sky when the sun rises. Symbolising a new dawn for the founders of trentica after they stumbled upon this island after leaving ports in the Netherlands and England.

The White cross represents the unity between the English and Dutch settlers when they set aside their differences and instead of being the british colony of Trent Stone or The Dutch colony of Nieuwe Dageraad they became The Queendom of Trentica.

Finally the orange rose is the symbol of the Kainan royal family. The first royal family with ties to both Britain and the Netherlands. so they took the Tudor Rose and the colour orange (the colour of the Netherlands) putting them together to show both sides of the royal heritage.
