It's a friendly question 'cause I'm personally not completely confident in my support of it.

A space program is expensive, as are training astronauts. I can't support something as expensive as training astronauts. If we do, then I hope it's done like the Canadian Space Agency program, not a full-scale NASA-like program.

But the RAIA doesn't actually create a space program. It creates selection guidelines when there will be one...

Ok, let's put it like this. How many 'astronauts' will be selected and trained? Because I would only accept a maximum of four at one time. And we're not launching our own spacecraft, we are using what other nations have.

NEA -
'colonisation of extraterrestrial bodies for benefit of humanity' is great but I don't agree that it should be (half of) the primary objective of space exploration. It should benefit humanity and life generally by the most appropriate means, not by one means in every circumstance.

RAIA - Aye

I support these omnibuses:
OMNIBUSES:
I move to omnibus no. 16 (Revenue Collection) with no. 3 (National Financing and Accounting).

I move to omnibus no. 26 (Impartial Polling Places) with no. 5 (Anti-Corruption).

I move to omnibus no. 23 (Military Pensions) with no. 15 (Armed Forces Reform).
They'll need presidential approval now to go forward, since we repealed the old omnibus method.

Senator, let's be a little more considerate of our opponents than that. People can disagree on things and still want a better Aurentina.

I'd like to bring the Senate to the attention of the contradictory nature of the National Security Act and the Commonwealth Armed Forces Act. Under the two acts, we technically have two militaries. I propose that a committee is established to formulate a bill to rectify the contradictions.

Wolfmanne repealed it in the REA amendment. Either that, or lied about repealing it in order to get away with the last omnibus motion. I'm almost entirely sure it's the first one, though. ETA: Rather, that Wolfmanne honestly repealed or intended to repeal it. I can see how he might have tried to do it and admins stopped him.

When I discuss the issue of Astronomy I always bring up that I think a space program (with intention of colonisation, I have no issue with satellites) is the most useless thing in the entire universe and a extraordinary waste of money.
