I seem to remember some cases where they ruled otherwise in terms of sperm donation, as well as a case where a man was given a BJ or HJ and she used the sperm to get preggers and the man involved was forced to give child support. Anyway, just noting a poor consequence in some of the past rationalizations presented here in the past...

I doubt a court would really uphold that, but who knows? One would presume a child molester wouldn't be allowed near the children of that union anyway.

Exactly. The harm thing is another kettle of fish of course and it comes down to the people involved (And since the news article is rather lacking details, it's hard to say one way or the other), but my feeling is that boys being preyed on like this can get just as hurt as girls. Again though, it depends.

But it does not and can not excuse a teacher using his or her position to go after one of their students.

Well, assuming that isn't a sign of the up-coming end of the world as we know it (Because we're talking inconcevable right now), no dice.
