Just use a new pronoun, something like 'hyn', 'shyn', 'shin' or 'hin'.

The same grammar rules as 'he' and 'she' would apply.

Herargon
Pro: tolerance, individualism, technocratism, democratism, freedom, freedom of speech and moderate religious expression, the ban on hate speech, constitutional monarchism, the Rhine model
Against: intolerance, radicalism, strong discrimination, populism, fascism, nazism, communism, totalitarianism, authoritarianism, absolutarianism, fundamentalism, strong religious expression, strong nationalism, police states

If you like philosophy, then here you can see what your own philosophical alignements are.

To be honest if everything that lives had to use the same pronoun, I'd choose "That Maggot".

For Example:

"Did you hear about what Johnny did the other day?"

"Yeah, apparently that maggot stole a potato!"

If one gets offended by someone using a binary pronoun, then the person in question just doesn't understand one of the most basic principles of society: It doesn't revolve around you.

it revolves around everyone, and everyone has an obligation to refrain from perpetuating harmful labels and discrimination

:palm:
No. Society doesn't give two shit cupcakes about anybody. You could die today and society would still function. We saw an example recently. A prominent figure here died, but the forums still continued like normal. I don't want to disrespect said person, but it's the fact of life. Life doesn't care. It doesn't care if you find something offensive. It just doesn't fucking give a shit. It's harsh, but it's true. I revolves around works, not people. It revolves around actions, not feelings. And is you consider using "he" harmful when speaking about an anonymous person, then I just don't know what to say...

That would be a little bit strange, to say, at the very least.

The problem is that not everyone is a 'he', so it doesn't make sense to say 'he' when we're talking about someone whose gender we don't know, or if we're talking about a generic person of any gender. And we have a gender neutral pronoun we can use instead.

We already have a gender neutral pronoun, we don't need to invent a new one. Besides, ask people on the internet to use a non-standard pronoun and they'll totally lose their shit as often as not.

Exactly, I don't see why people can't just say "They" instead of accidentally offending someone and ending up in a 50 page long flame war.

Hold on. Where did I say denying facts was a good idea? All I said is that I believe in freedom of speech. I said I don't care if someone denies the Holocaust. If someone believe that, then good for them. That person is probably an idiot, but they can say what they want. Their words will denounce them.

By which I mean, use he for one nonspecific person and then she for the next you happen to talk about. If anyone calls you out on not representing the other gender, simply cite the example you used he instead of she or vise versa.

I feel like this ^ could solve a lot of problems people are having. :P

They aren't though.
Sex is genetalia wise whereas gender is what they identify as, for example a transgender may identify their gender as female but they still are of the male sex. Not a discriminatory thing though nesecarilly.
