Stephen Harper's pretty good in comparison compared to other leaders.

He's just boring.

….Is there a Stephen Harper not of Canada that I am unaware of? Because the one I know has preceded over unpalatable at best and disastrous at worst environmental, social, economic, and foreign policy.

It's okay to hate people, such as Putin, when you use that hate to do something about it. When you don't, it just builds up and it's unhealthy. I'd recommend either not hating Putin, or working to reduce homophobia.

There's not really any I have particularly strong feelings towards, but I voted Putin simply because I like his stance on foreign policy. Yes he has done a few asshole things, but he's one of the few leaders willing to take a stand against the USA's strive for dominance. The US is not the world's police force and frankly needs to stop acting like it.

Ugh. I hate this attitude. Just because one dick is fighting against another dick does not make the first one any less of a dick. An imperialist is an imperialist is an imperialist.

Two imperialists is better than one. We need something to oppose the US and restore balance to the world.

No imperialism would be ideal, but if it must exist we certainly do need a second world power to oppose American imperialism.

Putin was elected by Russian people for 15 years. I think that's an example of people opposing at least one. Yes, Putin is a dick, probably worse than Obama and other western imperialist, but he's a representative of the common people.
