Have you seen a vision in the flames?
I had a vision in a dream, where the Lord himself came unto me and told me to spread the his word to all across the land, and my soul shall be spared. This was when I was an atheist, but it has since converted me (Christian for 5 years now)

Matthew 21:18-22[3]
Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked. Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Carl Sagan, astrophysicist and atheist wrote:"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.
When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling,
that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...
The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."

Its more likely that there's multiple gods who have long discarded us because we are a boring art project gone wrong for them, or that their limited power is largely countered and overwhelmed by greater forces we would consider evil
But those aren't the comforting things people want to hear; many people are drawn to the idea of their grandiose self-importance against the face of reality (I may just be an angsty teenager or a mundane office drone or a mediocre mother but guess what? Something as Great as God CARES about me).
Do not put your faith in a higher power.
Embrace the meaninglessness of your life and set an arbitrary goal for your own enjoyment and self-gratification. Go create something (a great work of art, a bridge, an empire, a new company) and take comfort in the fact that at the end of the day even if you fail, it's not important in the grand scheme of things.
As Emma Stone's character said in Birdman: ''YOU DON'T MATTER. GET USED TO IT!''
Remember people, you will only last less than a 100 years compared to the world's seemingly eternal existence. Try and have a good time, but don't stress yourself out.
Don't worry about ''finding God'' or ''starting a family'' or any of that stuff that will supposedly bring meaning to your life. It won't. Embrace the emptiness of your existence, and use it as a Get Out of Jail card. You have no responsibility, no obligation, and if there is a God... he doesn't care or can't do anything. Look inside your heart and feel it... you know it to be true.

I see no reason to change that definition in light of such a revelation.
