You going to deny healthcare to extreme sports enthusiasts too?

Because meat is generally more demanding on the environment in several levels, more expensive, more complex to properly store, often of inferior quality (both nutritional and otherwise) when granted for free, and if you don't grant people a right to a vegan option it means the government will necessarily take it away because it's just an unnecessary effort and important stuff complex to produce or import won't be asked for.

Also, eating healthy is much more expensive in the Americas. Specially when outside of rural areas. And you hardly have diversity enough to go vegan when you're not ridiculously high in the social pyramid, generally above middle middle class in my country.

We could start by stopping government intervention in the whole affair, and save a whole lot of money. It's up to the citizens whether or not they want to be fat or not. I don't approve of people sitting around all day getting fat, but if they want to, that's their freedom.

Still, we don't have to accommodate you either with double-wide seats in hospitals. It's good for your health to stand up once in awhile.

1. Some people get fat because of living conditions they can't help themselves
2. No, for some people it really isn't, specially so when they're too heavy

Do you honestly think that this would work?

Look, it's clear that you lack reading comprehension so I'll spell it out for you. If your reasoning for denying obese people access to healthcare is because of the costs that they incur, then logically you need to deny healthcare to other groups of people who live lifestyles that endanger them and raise healthcare costs. Extreme sports enthusiasts would be one of these groups. Plain enough for you, chief?

It's a consequence of seeing obesity as a moral failing rather than as a health issue. Sadly, people do imagine that sort of thing would work.

It just occurred to me, if everyone is fat, nothing will get done, thus, people will have no choice but to lose the excess fluff.

Jesus did not advocate a welfare state that created millions more homeless and obese cell phone addicts, sir. His teachings advocate private charity, not state-sanctioned theft.

Well, I suggested stuff to make extremely lean and nutritional food something you have incentives to choose (maybe the government should even teach some how to cook - it could actually significantly reduce the amount of money wasted!), and also a manner to convince people to exercise.

If I had swimming and yoga classes for free without needing to travel half a metropolis in public transport I necessarily feel unsafe/anxious to use to have adequate places within my necessities (I am allergic to chloride and incense), I could do it everyday.
