I said, in the OP, that the nomination period ended yesterday.

Does stares decisis apply on NSG?
I think there's a few common law examples of previous contests where the tallies were disclosed. I think that to ensure a standard for procedural fairness the tallies should be revealed and disclosed. Otherwise, there is no way we could double-check the counting or ensure that the vote counting was truly accurate, fair, and unbiased. As a decision-maker and SOLE representative of this administrative tribunal for the 2014 Poster Awards, I think you have undertaken a few responsibilities that go with it no?
The public on NSG needs to have confidence in the democratic system no?

How do you know they didn't lie about the tallies?
I'll see what others say, but I'm not going to cater to a single person's desires. If you are the only one who thinks I'm being unfair, biased, or whatever then so be it.
The reason I haven't disclosed tallies so far is that I didn't count up the people who only got like one or two votes. After scanning what I wrote down I crossed their names off and tallied the people who got a noteworthy amount of votes. And, as I've said numerous times, I'm lazy

if the tallies are disclosed, then there is a basis for some people to challenge the decision more readily if they feel that standards of procedural fairness were not met
it also provides a more colourful and complete picture
It's the difference between ONLY knowing Germany won against Argentina vs knowing the score of the winning game.
