Korva - cut the crap, will you? You already have a reputation of an outright liar.
It's become the staple of your postings to:
a) Make a bone chilling title accusing Russia/Novorossiya of all possible mortal sins.
b) Link an article tha says nothing like that.
c) Hope that people won't put "1 plus 1" and/or really hope that anti-Russian crowd would svallow it anyway due to idealogical reasons.
It's getting tiresome. Try again.

I've also heard that the bomb was remotely detonated, so this was a planned attack on a peaceful rally.

Aside from political sympathies, how is this bombing (likely by the Kharkiv Partisans) in any way linked to the rebels?
@Balt:
I'm sure this was just an oversight, but it should also be understood that, no matter who the USSR planned to ally with, it was only intended to be a temporary measure to either advance the USSR's position in Europe (pro-Franco-Brit) or gain more time to prepare for war (Germany).

I dont buy that for a second, they clearly have allies in the Rebels and i bet the Rebels were jumping for joy when this happened.
Disgusting.

Conjecture based on nothing but assumptions. The rebels aren't fighting for Kharkiv, they have no concern with events there. It's like saying "Hamas clearly has allies in the Palestinian government, and I bet the Palestinian president was jumping for joy when the synagogue attack happened."

Right......
And what to the "partisans" want? A independent city state? union with Russia?

There was actually a really funny scene that Vice News filmed when the Donetsk rebels were getting started. This young woman and young man (clearly a couple) were painting "referendum" on a building in protest, and this one rebel is watching them do it. They get finished, and he just yells at them, "You misspelled 'referendum', it's spelled *spells referendum*." Then the couple just stares back at the word and starts over.

Not as exactly as high brow as my since of humor.
Then again, its the reason why i wont open up New Russia Theater like i did with ISIS. Don't know much about the whole Comedic potential of making fun of the Rebels Unlike ISIS.

Just listen to these people asked about a year ago about what they want in the future!
- "We will have new vacancies at work, because the EU will give us money to modernise our industry... There will be investments from the EU, absolutely".
- "We want to Europe. They have democracy and fair justice here..."
- "I want my children to be able when they are 12, 15 or 17 years old to just took up a plane and fly to London or Paris"
- "First of all, we would be able to travel across the Europe and take part in various projects, second - there will be financial aid for us"
- "It is said in the Association treaty that there would be no need for visas for the Ukraine... Yes, I read it!"
Ah! Sweet dreams of Maidan! Totally worth anything - right?
Ok, and now lets take a look and compare two Ukrainian Prime Miniseters and results of their work - Nikolai Azarov (an epitome of servility to former regime) and Arseniy Yatsenyuk (a bright and shining example of new hope for the whole of Ukraine). IF you are worried that the numbers are inaccurate and represnt Putinist propaganda - don't worry! The chart cites as its sources sites open to everyone, like the Ukrainian governmental sites, cia.gov and UrkStat. Don't believe - check it yourself.
1) The economy.
Azarov: GDP growth by 10%.
Yatsenyuk: GDP's fall by 12%.
Azarov: Grivna cost $8
Yatsenyuk: Grivna cost $26
Azarov: No increase of tariffs.
Yatsenyuk: Increase of tariffs by 45%
Azarov: Foreign-exchange reserves $20 bln
Yatsenyuk: Foreign-exchange reserves $7 bln
Azarov: State Debt 40% of GDP
Yatsenyuk: State Debt 76% of GDP
Azarov: Export increased 1.6 times
Yatsenyuk: Fall of export by 21%
Azarov: Increase of citizens' income 1.6. times
Yatsenyuk: Citizens' income decreased by 2.
2) Social sphere
Azarov: Minimum wage in 2010-13 increased by 29.1%, and equals 1218 gryvnas.
Yatsenyuk: No increase.
Azarov: Average wage in 2010-2013 increased by 44%
Yatsenyuk: No increase.
Azarov: Birth rate in 2012-13 increased by 20 000 yearly, death rate lowered by 2000 yearly
Yatsenyuk: Birth rate decreased by 25%. By 2014 Ukraine take the 2nd place in the world by the level of a death rate.
Azarov: Government bought more than 3000 ambulance cars, initiated a state program of giving for free medicine for hypertonics, opened more than 5000 clinics (half of them in villages and countryside)
Yatsenyuk: Canceled free meals in clinics and hospitals, canceled the program of free medicine for hypertonics. There is shortage of medicine for the patients of oncology and diabetics.
Azarov: Bought more than 1600 of school buses, built 50 and repaired more than 400 kindergardens, built 93 schools
Yatsenyuk: Initiative "School bus" is stopped, 396 of this school buses were relocated "for the needs of the ATO". Canceled free schoolbooks and free meals in schools.
3) Banking sector
Azarov: In 2013 there were 181 banks. The influx of deposits increased in 3 years by 100% to a level of 700 bln. gryvnas.
Yatsenyuk: In 2014 40 banks were closed. Deposit removal in gryvnas is 13.7%, and in foreign currencies 37.2%. Government forbade premature removal of deposits and limited the amount of purchased foreign currency.
4) Infrastructure
Azarov: Built 5207 km of roads. Built and repaired 6 airports. Built 5 stadiums.
Yatsenyuk: The construction of new roads stopped completely. The airports of Lugansk and Donetsk are destroyed completely. Partially destroyed "Donbass-Arena" stadium
5) Taxes
Azarov: Income tax is decreased from 35 to 15%, a lot of tax cuts for small business and benefits for key economy enterprises.
Yatsenyuk: Benefits are cancelled. A 15% tax on pensions of more than 3600 gryvnas. Introduced a progressive scale of taxing. Also introduced taxes on apartments larger 60 sq m, and houses bigger than 120 sq m, new taxes on personal transport.
5) Energy sector.
Azarov: Ukraine is one of the key exporters of energy in Europe. Coal production is increased by 12 mln tonns
Yatsenyuk: Ukraine is the importer of the energy. The country suffers form coal shortages, short-outs are commonplace.
Really, Ukraine? That’s what you were fighting for? Why just don’t ask Victor Yanukovitsh to steal even more – the result would be pretty much the same (or even better!), but only without territorial losses and deaths of your citizens!
Still, on this day I want to say thank you – to all those Ukrainians on Maidan, who stayed, hungry, freezing, miserable, and who killed and were killed here. I thank them for making nearly impossible come true. I thank them for making Crimea once again Russian!
Слава У… Oh, by now you should now what to say!
