Nah, Mississippi State will win out. Unless Auburn beats Alabama (seeing as how Bama's played this season, it'll most likely happen.) and doesn't lose between now and then. But knowing how these CFP are, they'll pick Michigan State or TCU over another SEC team.

So... the Vols FINALLY WON. Two in a row over Spurrier.

At 4-5, a bowl is certainly attainable now. Never have I been more relieved since the Dark Era started. There is hope after all.

Tennessee didn't win the game. South Carolina just found ways to lose.

Now they'll go and lose to Kentucky AND Missouri.

Missouri is at least a Top 40 team. Not a stretch of the imagination that we lose, despite their shitshow against a pissed-off Georgia squad.

Kentucky, though, lol? We dominate that series. Wouldn't count too much on them if you're a Vol hater (and considering the shit we've put up with since 2007, kind of laughable to be so), despite them starting out well - they beat the powerhouses of Tennessee-Martin, Ohio, and Louisiana-Monroe. How they play Georgia will determine which Cats squad shows up. If they beat Georgia, it's a possible trap game. If they lose by more than a touchdown, then UT wins too. We have a strong D and apparently a much better offense. Kentucky has a good offense, but a defense prone to giving up big plays - exactly the balance of power that shifts the game's chances in our favor.

Anyway, Alabama vs. LSU is usually a close game. It will likely go down to the wire. Should be good, but since this game is in Tiger Stadium, LSU wins.

It could've just as easily been devastating for Oregon if Utah had seen them fumble right as they tried to run off with it.

I doubt it was poor coaching as much as poor awareness. Some guys just aren't that sharp even with good coaching.
