I want to understand the nature of your objection.
If you understand "left-wing" to mean something different to what I understand it to mean, there will be misunderstanding.

So I am fairly close to back where I've started.

I support peace in Israel and Palestine. The governments and people in power on all sides are an absolute disgrace, and their unwillingness to pursue peace is a disservice to the people they are meant to be serving. The status quo is not simply untenable; it is unquestionably unacceptable.

I advise you consider the idea that perhaps the market, not capitalism is "much like water".
Have you looked into market socialism, and the cooperative movement?

No such thing. Those who possess a concentration of power are more prone to the Just World fallacy, and corruption. Additionally, power is literally addictive.

I don't think you understand what image is in my head

im talking about a government ran more or less by "warlord" esque leader that really only requires you to serve when needed but otherwise leaves you alone in your daily life. Where everyone is usually armed.

I can mix this despotic ruler with a number of government types

History books & comrades are not "bourgeois media". (Additionally, my Father actually lived in the Soviet Union for several decades.)

You have been seduced by the Stalinist propaganda.
