seeing how the highly critical, statistically young, and often roll playing simple minded and/or gullible (or not roll playing as the case may be) population on here, react to concepts is a kind of acid test labratory of how they might fly in the "real world".

it also does one other thing. it gets ideas out there, circulating in minds that will all be voting citizens of somewhere, if the aren't already, and some of whom might actually go on to become elected decision makers (along with one or two who already are). or writers who's stories seep into the ambient subconscious.

even bad ideas deserve a thorough roasting. of course no amount of antagonism toward them are going to separate my own ego from what i think makes sense to me.
nor would i expect it to anyone else, usually. but occasionally we learns something in the process about how human society actually works, observing it do so on here.

Actually, it was part of a rebuttal to a claim that homosexuality wasn't "natural". Bonobos are closely related to us, don't have any level of society that could be considered "unnatural", and yet have great screaming heaps of gay sex, therefore…
