The Swedes civilized Finland and brang writing to the area. Prussian built large amount in infrastructure and industry in Poland, which is why Poland doesn't ask for investments in Western Poland.

And they should be take pride in it. Why? Because the British will never live up to be what it once was. I personally dislike the B.E. The UK is only wealthy in modern times because like others, it had a habit of stealing from poorer nations.

The British Empire is pretty much the reason why the entire world is as fucked up as it is.

Yeah, thats something to have allot of pride in.

I would be proud that little bitty Britain, the "Black Sheep of Europe", decided it got tired of being little and created the largest and most powerful Empire the world has ever seen.

When the Romans left Britain they famously said "Look to your own defenses". The British took that how any good Roman would take it; conquer everything so nobody fucks with you.

Our island is even smaller and was able to stop an invasion by the most powerful empire the world has seen.

The British left equipment has they fled. This is what was done with part of that equipment.
