I cannot keep up with the changes in PC Minecraft anymore. When I watch a video of it, it seems really different.

Core gameplay has, for the most part been unchanged since beta. Its really only more technical stuff like the world generation, new mobs and mob AI, and command blocks that have seen radical changes. Of course that said, the basic combat mechanics are getting a huge overhaul in 1.9, so it will be interesting to see how they work out. There's already starting to be huge butt hurt among pvp people that how fast you can click your mouse is no longer a major factor in combat.

I found a random "hall" made of cobblestone and moss stone underground. It doesn't seem like a dungeon, there's no monster spawner, plus it's too small. Apparently, cobblestone can be formed from lava, but there's no lava either...Does cobblestone form randomly like that?

When the horrors of 1.9 come to Console Edition, remember to craft the hoe. It's basically now the MC equivalent to the Crowbar.

I doubt that its going to last in that role for long. They're still tweaking everything.

Well, hope that Mojang adds that gamerule "NewKewlPvP" (or any variant thereof) so people can set whether they want to autoclick old-fashion or try their luck with new shizz.

I, personally, am looking forwards to shields. Sounds fancy. And mining with torches in my offhand slot. Or building with blocks in my offhand slot. And special healing arrows.

No but there is no need to worry. Herobrine usually switches player worlds every 1-2 days.

I have been playing "Money Walls" on CubeCraft as of recently. It is a super-fun PvP game.

I remember when I once played on a LAN server on Superflat, and we were all in a village. Night fell, and the mobs attacked. The idiotic villagers kept getting in the way of our attack, and we all kept killing them by accident. We literally had to nuke that village to the ground just to avoid getting murdered by iron golems.

Should have setup a simple low yield iron golem farm.
