Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Also which nation should I play in Vic2? Thinking either Ceska in PDM, or unifying either Ceska or Russia in divergences. Or maybe play as Japan in PDM?

Burgundy declared war of conquest on Liege, because why the fuck does Liege even bother to exist? Unfortunately for Burgundy, Liege was in the Holy Roman Empire, and the Emperor - i.e. Austria - did not take so kindly to this encroachment on his territory.
Very, very unkindly, in fact. Austria immediately threw all the HRE behind a war with Burgundy, as well as myself - Poland. For their part, Burgundy produced the terrifying powers of Mainz and Aachen, two nations that don't matter so hard Google doesn't even recognize "Mainz" as a word.
I didn't bother to do anything, still recovering from a minor war with the Teutonic Order which nonetheless took a lot out of Poland; it is, to be fair, Poland. Instead, I let Lithuania march their armies in and start wrecking shit, though instead they sort of just stood around in Burgundy and waited for stuff to happen. Siege warfare, y'know?
Burgundy did not wait. Instead, Burgundy unleashed three armies - each the size of Lithuania's - into central Europe, where they proceeded to tear shit up. Half of the Empire was razed, and many, many nations dropped out of the war simply to spare themselves. Burgundy's strategy was simple; attrition could handle Austria if it was depleted of allies. Austria employed the same strategy, easily scaring off Mainz and Aachen, because who the fuck cares about them? Of course, given as even Burgundy failed to notice their existences, it persisted in the war regardless and was winning by quite a bit - 23%, likely just enough to win Liege. (Though I don't believe anyone ever actually touched Liege, given the respective strategies and Liege's complete irrelevance to everything, including itself.)
The Burgundian troops were commanded by a duke named Charles, who took over much earlier than expected - presumably his predecessor died earlier than he did historically. No matter, Charles was something of a badass; excellent stats, massive army, and - based on that portrait - great hair. This man was unstoppable; so unstoppable he decided, fuck it, he was going to lead his own troops into battle.
Predictably, that went horribly fucking wrong when Charles was suddenly killed in battle. A Regency Council was established immediately and Burgundy instantly folded; historically, the same would happen to the real Charles, and the land would go to France - thus launching just about every Franco-German conflict until today.
Except this time Burgundy didn't go to France. This time it went to Austria.
Welcome to Europe.

It's funny you should mention just how irrelevant Liege is...since in my Polish campaign, the Burgundian Succession actually failed to fire. Burgundy has been run over the coals by France and Austria, but it's really Liege that has reaped the rewards, eating slices of Burgundy and nearby minors. They're up to five provinces last I checked.

NI's, national ideas for EU4.
Ohh, so. What NI's do you get as the Latin Empire? Default ''Eastern'' ideas?
And how is your technology (Western, Eastern, Ottoderp, 'Murican) and technology levels determined in the conversion to EU4?

The Latin Empire would get the shitty default ideas, I want to make some unique ones.
Technology in EU4 is determined on your tech level in CK2.

I could make a few ideas for you, possibly.
Yeah, I know IshCong and Washington, that you both said it is determined on your tech level.
But would there be exact factors? Would it be that the nation with the most advanced technology would get Western and that all other nations up to a few ''blocks'' (in ck2, technology levels are divided into blocks for each type) lower than that would get Western too?
Or is it determined on how far specific techs are? That would be interesting to find out.
