Same... then again, they've destroyed it pretty thoroughly.
I mean, the Special Edition was bad enough. (Han shot first btw!) Then along rolled Ep.I and I went... meeehhh... let's hope with the II...
Ep.II was the last Star Wars movie I watched in its entirety. I tried to watch Ep.III but that's way too horrible.
Really, George.
Quit it.
Please.
"Star Wars Episode One, the Phantom Menace, was the most disappointing thing since my son. And while my son eventually hanged himself in a gas station bathroom, the Starwars prequels will always be there. They will never go away"
"Star Wars Episode Two, Attack of the Clones, was the worst thing made by a human being since bagpipes. It was even worse than Episode One!"

I can't imagine it could be worse than the prequels unless they actually try to make it worse.
Lucas needs to be kicked upstairs though. His original film's success owed a lot to his creativity but he has been nothing but a hindrance ever since. Funny how the best film in the series was the one he had the least to do with...

George Lucas will be in a creative role for the new Star Wars trilogy, the first of which will be released in 2015 and will be titled 'Star Wars: Episode VII' (surprise surprise). George Lucas says that it's time for Star Wars to passed on to 'a new generation of film-makers'. He also added "could I get any more filthy f*cking rich?"
What do you guys think of this? My first reaction was "shit. They're going to destroy Star Wars even more." But maybe Disney could do good with the franchise, as long as they don't put in a Jar Jar Binks Jr. or something.
