I'm reporting myself, but in regards to the flag in my sig, that's three lines supporting my favourite World Cup football team. That'll go the day they win or lose, and at that point I'm down to seven lines.

If I could only take one good thing out of the Liberate Haven fiasco, it would be the number of illegal/over-long sigs it's exposed me to.

I don't really care. There are ways to add oversize material to your sig, such as spoilers and float tags. Since you self-reported, I'll skip the usual warning, but I've [float]ed your flag off to one side to make it legal.

Sorry to have to correct you, Sedge - but the way I count quote boxes, it WAS oversize. Top line, bottom line, and horizontal rule all count as one line each.

It's 6. Things like full sentences often wind up pushed onto a second line, but, to quote Gimli, it still only counts as one.

That's not something we're actively enforcing at this point. Doing so on the forums proper, yes. Sigs can be hidden and ignored, a practice I recommend to all players.

That's not something we're actively enforcing at this point. Doing so on the forums proper, yes. Sigs can be hidden and ignored, a practice I recommend to all players.
