Do me a favor, and try to actually change something. Every nation should be able to see them, but you shouldn't actually be able to edit anything.

Thank you. I tried to change the regional World Factbook Entry of my region and it said I didn’t have permission to do it. I was just not aware that you can see all the regional controls when in NS++.

You can always see regional controls, even without NS++. It's not a special feature. NationStates works that way.

When I am logged in not using NS++ there are only three options on the regional page – Activity, History and Administration. When I am not an administrator of that region when I click on Administration I see information, but not what the administrators see. I think in NS++ you see the same with Administration, but also there is the Regional Control link, which I thought only the Founder and WA Delegate with executive powers could see, but now understand everyone can see it and all the options that the administrators see.

Do you have a more specific question? I don't know what is happening to you.

Are you still having issues with a particular feature, because I haven't noticed any general problems in the last 24 hours.

I haven't been able to change the settings since 2.5 came out! The puppet region doesn't show on hover, though the settings say it should, and going to the puppet's page when I select it is inconsistent.

Why do the settings and regional news links not work on the forum side?

Puppet regions aren't showing up underneath the name for some reason, anyone else with this issue?

That's strange, "Please supply your style of government" is the generic error from NS when failing to create a nation, but you really oughtn't be getting that generic error.
Could you report what you're setting the other fields to? (Feel free to report in a PM to myself or Afforess if you're not comfortable posting that here).

The recruitment system is shut down at the moment as it was taking the rest of NS++ down with it when on. Afforess and I will be fixing the performance problem in the next few days. One performance issue has been fixed, but it turns out not to have fixed the whole thing.

I've noticed that the flicker (the split second transition from original NS to NS++ style changes) is much more pronounced. I'm not sure if it's just on my end, but you might want to review any changes in when styling is applied.

Also, just in case this thread is checked more often than Github, here's an issue I submitted: https://github.com/NationStates/NationS ... /issues/15

Hello everyone! I am the Recon Empire, founder of The Crown Federation of Recon. We are a NS++ user, and has been using the recruitment API systems frequently. However, about a few days ago, I realized that the telegram sign is not loading any new nations, and is stagnating at the "Telegramming:" stage without any progress either.

We dedicate some time, along with my fellow recruitment officers, to maximize the recruitment systems for our region, and it is rather essential to us.

Hope somebody can help! Thank you!

It's the same for everybody at the moment. If you look four posts above your own, you'll see the explanation why this is.

How can you add a regional IRC chat, or is it only allowed for certain regions?

Ask Afforess or myself by telegram or in here, identifying the IRC network and channel :)

I'm not sure I understand.

Do you mean to ask NS administration to closely follow NS++'s predictions? I don't think that's going to happen.
