Armed attackers stormed a busy concert venue near Moscow known as Crocus City Hall and opened fire with automatic weapons and threw and incendiary grenade setting the building on fire. 115 are confirmed dead with 145 injured.

The death toll is expected to rise.

Such acts of evil have no place anywhere. Events like this are so rare across Europe so to see it happen is genuinely shocking.

I did nothing to justify the attack. Targeting civilians indicates a total disrespect for the inherent value of a person's life and autonomy. There is no room of ambiguity to pretend that these massacres are justifiable.

I agree that war is a terrible thing which, sometimes, is a necessary evil. However, even in war there are rules to follow and this attack is a clear violation of nearly all of them. It should be universally condemned and the perpetrators brought to justice.

Surely the Kremlin will accept ISIS' claim of responsibility for this attack and won't insinuate that it was the USA/NATO/Ukraine/etc that orchestrated and/or funded the attack.

I don't think it would have been an attack carried out by ordinary citizens given automatic weapons were used. But I'm not sure how gun laws are in Russia.
