My nation is a simulation of if the Romans found the North American continent and colonized it, so us as a former Roman province would speak in Classical Latin (as our primary language), Modern English (Secondary, but very commonly used), and all of the Romance Languages.

A good “bad” example of this would be, “Mi hermana no birthday was yesterday deshita.”

2. Hawaiian - One could call Hawaiian the ancestor of Marineri. Widely spoken, but far less common among the youth and urbanites.
3. Maori - Not official but spoken in a few ancient communities on the Outer Islands.
4. English - Globalism, baby! Most young Marineri Islanders can speak English, and the government is actively trying to re-introduce Marineri in the home.
5. Several other regional languages and dialects in more insular communities.
