Many people have made conlangs, like Klingon, Esperanto, High Valyrian, Toki Pona, etc. Many have done it here! But can F7, and NationStates as a whole, make a conlang, even if it may be impossible? Let's see! No matter your experience, feel free to add suggestions!

Advice and Suggestions:

What to post:

I suggest we use the voiced labiodental nasal, /ɱ/, in our conlang. Who agrees?

See, not automatically saying "ɱ best consonant. we use now.", and instead being a level-headed person and suggesting a vote.

I don't like the vowel /a/. Can we vote to exclude it?

Again, not automatically assuming everyone wants to get rid of /a/ and wants to vote instead.

Can we make the romanization for /ʉ/ ou?

Romanization suggestions for consonants already confirmed to be on our table are encouraged.

I've given a try at the translation competition for conlangfest: here it is
Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As the people moved east, they found a plain at Shinar and settled there. They said to each other, "Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." Bricks were used instead of stone, and tar instead of mortar. Then they said, "Come, let us build us a city with a tower that reaches up to heaven, that we may make a name for ourselves, or we will be scattered throughout the whole earth." But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the people were building. The Lord said: "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, nothing that they intend to do will be impossible for them." "Come, let's go down and confuse their language so they don't understand each other." "Come, let's go down and confuse their language so they don't understand each other." That is why it was called Babel - because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them throughout the land.

The thing earlier became "Now the whole world had one cell and a common speech." rather than "Now the whole world had one language and a common speech". Just that one misspelling made everything bad.

I'll consider that. I feel ConlangFest is more encompassing as "Con" could refer to Conworlds, Conculture, or just "convention". And it could always stretch out into '24. I do like the title though. Ehh, I'll think about it.

I disagree. I feel like making a combination of sounds 1 letter is a bad idea. Affricates, I like, but that... ehh. If anyone else wants to vote for it, I'll put it in, but I vote against it.

I feel X should make that /x/ sound, not /h/, as /h/ is fairly common and we may want to use it.
I vote for the second proposal.
The third one, I would say ē should be just ee or y.
