The Collective Security League Signup

The Collective Security League, or CSL for short, is an alliance of nations who wish to protect global democracy. The league acts for the security of its members states, and to protect them from attack by other nations, especially from autocratic regimes.

CSL Founding charter:

• The CSL is to uphold democratic values and human rights in its action and ideals.
  
  
• CSL member states must act as one in times of war. An attack on one is an attack on all members.
  
  
• The CSL is a primarily peaceful, defensive organisation. The CSL will not condone unprovoked aggression from its member states, or fighting amongst them.
  
  
• CSL member states are to donate at least 10% of their armed forces to the CSL peacekeeping division, with the exemption of those who are unable to do so.
  
  
• Observer states also are encouraged to donate 5% of their armed forces, with the same exemption as for member states.
  
  
• The CSL assembly will be a Place to discuss threats faced by its member states, and how to respond to threats faced.
  
  
• Member and observer nations are encouraged to donate to the CSL collective fund, which will provide funding to the military’s of member and observer nations who are at a financial disadvantage.
  
  
• All CSL members are equal in rank: they are to have an equal voice in the CSL assembly. They all have a right to challenge the CSL charter, aside from the first 3 articles and this article

The assembly of the CSL, where policy and geopolitical events can be discussed IC. It is based in Azmenabad, in founder Nation Azmeny. It is reserved for member and observer states.

CSL Blacklist

This is a list of nations the CSL opposes due to their international actions which have caused trouble for other nations, and condemns. This is not to offend the nations on this list, it is just a way of acknowledging that the CSL has a difficult relationship with these nations.

If a nation wishes to be removed from the blacklist, they may telegram Azmeny, who edits this blacklist. We are perfectly willing to discuss that in a reasonable fashion.

A quick guide on how to make a good post

• Always Mention OOC, if the post is staring such. But mainly keep OOC stuff in the OOC thread.

• For IC Posts, roleplay as if your the Representative of your country. This is the Most Simplest & Best way to post IC.

Example- "I think that this proposal doesn't align with the policies of our Nation. As such I shall Vote against this proposal" said Representative %Rep. Name%, while sipping a Cup of Tea.

• Use ("), they are very helpful in separating what your Representative said and what is happening around.

The Wrong Method: "%Rep. Name%, spoke, I think that this is not a good proposal. I am thus abstaining, he said with a Face like a Mask."
