Impact of Resolutions on national policies

Postby Midlona » Sun Feb 05, 2023 8:19 pm

Hi there,

Whenever a resolution is passed, I receive a telegram from a compliance account informing me that Midlona's laws are altered to comply with the new resolution.

is this role-play? or do these resolutions actually impact the nation's policies?

The purpose of those telegrams is to inform you of what is happening.

ICly, WA resolutions override all other forms of law applicable to members. OOCly, they only cause minor stat changes, with no effect on anything else.

When resolutions are passed, they make a slight change to your stats. As long as you aren't in the WA when a resolution passes, nothing will happen to your stats. If a proposal clearly won't pass, it won't change your stats. SC proposals don't affect your stats, although they may add a badge to your nation or affect regional security.

I never noticed the effect of the WA on my stats, and I've been a WA member since I joined this game.

Being in the WA allows you to receive endorsements from people in your region, which boosts your endorsement and influence stats. WA resolutions, however, don't affect that.
