No one appreciates good satire, or maybe I just need some more practice at it…

I am disappointed that this repeal of our long-standing (and long delayed) religious freedoms resolution was so heavily based on animosity toward religion. Here this Assembly voted to rob people of their existing religious freedom so that some nations will be better able to stamp out disfavored religious practices. I can hear the wails of the poor pagans already.

In a free society there will always be some tension between pursuing secular goals and pursuing religious ones. I do not think you will easily find a better balance than the one just repealed. I certainly don’t believe the one currently being pedaled peddled by the repeal author is better. In fact it is plainly worse.

The Magical Domaine will continue to be a place where people of all faiths are welcome.
