Frankly I think if people want to experience more daylight hours closer to when they go to bed, they should just go to bed/get up earlier rather than shifting our entire system of timekeeping.

You would be slightly better than him due to you being less charismatic, but worse than him because you tend not to flip flop based on whoever is praising you and so are more likely to actually work to get your bad ideas passed. State law did not allow his name to be removed and voters were informed at the polling site he had passed.
