In light of the recent changes in the government of the Munkchestrian Republic, the Free Kingdom hereby announces the opening of free trade – unilaterally – with Munkchester. Munkchestrian goods are henceforth welcome within the Free Kingdom's borders, and shall not be subject to any discriminatory tariffs, nor any other discrimination by the state, and shall be treated legally as close as possible to Allanean goods

Moreover, we hereby appoint an Ambassador to Munkchester, His Excellency the Right Honorable Phileas Abraham Smalls, who will be responsible for administering our program for rebuilding the Munkchestrian economy and assisting in its growth. For this purpose we will be sending to Munkchester several professionals from the civil engineering industry, economists, sociologists, environmental scientists, and education experts, as well as several art critics to oversee a grant program specifically to Munkchestrian sculptors and artists. The total value of the program shall be a total of $50 billion New Dornalian Dollars, intended to be disbursed once at least 50% of the formerly enslaved persons have left Munkchester, and will go beyond the $100 billion dollars Munkchester will receive gradually upon the departure of all FEPs.

We hope that by the time the time arrives to actually dispense the money we will have worked all the major elements of its dispensing.

We are shocked and horrified at this decision of Allanea. On one hand, Allanea is a signatory to Amistad Declaration which declares that everyone is equal and slavery is illegal and evil and no one should be entitled to do that and on the other hand Allanea is pursuing and expanding its relations with Fenwicks and Munkchestria. The Munkchestrian Republic is the very definition of terrorism, totalitarianism, despotism, tyranny, fascism and authoritarianism. The Munkchestrian Republic doesn't abide by international law and neither does it adhere to UN Human Rights Declaration, Geneva convention and UN Security Council resolutions. Human rights are outlawed people are forced to labour and slaves are exterminated. According to, UN Security Council resolution 15674 Munkchestrian Republic is apartheid and tyrannical regime and are under heavy sanctions by UN Security Council permanent members (The United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Russia). UN Security Council had voted in overwhelming majority against Munkchester. It's a shame and stain on the Allanean history as well as on its international standing amongst countries to expand and have friendly relations with the evil regime of Munkchestria while being a member and signatory of the Amistad Declaration. It's a sham and we're very disappointed in Allanea. US and Allanea had a long story of partnership against slavery and those regimes who sanction this practice. But it seems that this cooperation ends now. Allanea must think over again about this decision. It's a precious partner of the United States and we hope it will continue to be a partner it all depends on the judgment of Allanea.However If the regime changes in Munkchester and someone else is elected who respect human dignity and rights then it's a no problem neither for us nor for anyone. The Free Kingdom is providing the Munkchestrians economic aid which they desperately need as they transition away from a slavery-based economy, and as they recover from heinous crimes against humanity committed by the Fenwicks.

This economic aid is tied explicitly to the safe departure of Formerly Enslaved Persons from Munkchester, and to the implementation of long-term reform.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Free Kingdom Government in general have no relationship of any kind with the Fenwick scum, and in terms of our relationship with Munkchester we wish to turn your attention to the wise words of Rudyard Kipling:

Two days after the Fenwicks sacked the city
Munkchester

Three days before, the Fenwicks had been able to count on the support of 40% of the Munkcestrian population. The morning after the election, that had all changed: millions of slaves dead in one night at the hands of the Fenwick Brigade, and a city-state left traumatised. Nobody would admit to having voted for them now.

Negotiations between the Cuthbertson government and the exiled Munkcestrian working class, represented by the Munkchester Liberation Army, had quickly led to an agreement on their return. Upon their eviction (George Fenwick had declared them "too unruly to enslave"), however, their houses had been converted to slave quarters, and now of course those houses had been trashed by the Fenwick Brigade during their sack of the city, so it would take some time to arrange everything.

Lord President Ozzie Cuthbertson awaited the arrival of Phileas Abraham Smalls, Allanea's newly-appointed ambassador to Munkchester, and the presentation of his letter of credence.

As promised, the Allaneans soon arrive.

With him, Phileas Abraham Smalls brought a small team – two or three embassy employees, as well as a small group of professionals – architects, engineers, economists, and psychologists. The Ambassador himself moved immediately to schedule a meeting with Lord President Cuthbertson, while the various staff set about gathering information immediately, each researching in their own field of expertise. They began to also hire as many locals as would agree to work with them to produce information that they needed – photographers, journalists, and various subject-matter experts were hired to review the situation in Munkchester and particularly the events of the past few days.

To say that Allaneans were horrified and repulsed by the news would be to say nothing. What happened went against every instinct of their culture. In their interactions with Munkchestrians they remained coldly and pointedly polite, except for those few Allaneans who were forced to directly witness the collection and burial of the thousands of dead. These unfortunates could not conceal their horror.
