About 15-20% is vegetarian, including the overwhelming majority of priests.

Veganism? We don't know what that is, and we would consider it an absurdity if we ever happened to know about it.

Officially we are 100% vegetarian or vegan, though there is probably a black market. 25% are vegan. Meat-eating is both prohibited by law and religious injunctions and is likely to arouse social condemnation from a large segment of the population.

It exists but is generally ridiculed and frowned upon by most people. The Soviet Society for Nurition has issued a warning about the dangers of veganism and suggested that such diets are to be only be followed in close consultation with a healthcare professional or a nutritional specialist.

Most animal slaughter is banned, aside from some sanctioned religious sacrifices and some concessions based on need.
Because of this, the vast majority of people lead a vegetarian life, though some of them report eating sacrificed meat during holidays.
Veganism is looked down upon, and extremely uncommon. Dairy is a large part of the average diet and generally people that are vegans for reasons other than a medical condition are seen as strange.
Veganism as an ideology is unknown to most, except some that have spent time abroad, and vegetarianism is largely for religious and ethical reasons.

About 3% vegetarian, 1% vegan. Due to the nation’s turbulent history, there is a strong stigma against vegetarianism, especially veganism. Vegans are seen as pretentious, ungrateful people who side with PETA, which is denied from operating within the country. One would have a better chance of persuading a pack of wolves to go vegan than us. In recent years, it has become a subject of ridicule.

Almost all of Cosnicu individuals do not eat red meat. About half to three quarters would consider themselves vegetarians. This does rais a stron gcultural difference in Cosnicu. Due to their abundance, fish are considered fine to eat as a vegetarian diet, and several conflicts COsnicu's food and health boards classify Cosnicu vegetarian as a seperate diet, and it is marked differently.
Here are the general norms proposed by Cosnicu's food and health boards:
Meat diet:
Poultry, red meats, fish, eggs, dairy, fruits, vegetables, sugars & oils, Starches and Breads
Cosnicu Vegetarian (in the process of developing a language. sorry i dont have a word available for this at the term):
Fish, eggs, dairy, fruits, vegetables, sugars & oils, Starches & breads
Global Vegetarian:
Eggs, Dairy, Fruits, Vegetables, Sugars & oils, Starches & breads
Reduced Vegetarian:
Dairy, Fruits, Vegetables, Sugars & oils, Starches & breads
Vegan:
Fruits, Vegetables, Sugars & oils, Starches & breads
Reduced Vegan:
Fruits, Vegetables, Sugars & oils
...
For comparision: Most Cosnicu are Cosnicu Vegetarian. With the remainder also consuming poultry as part of their diet. Red meat is incredibly rare and expensive, so very few eat it. Ground meat is slightly more common, but also fairly rare, and is usually reserved for seasonal events. A good analogy being fish being cheap and abundant fast food and having sheeseburgers for holiday dinners on thanksgiving and new years eve, as well as a steak for chrismas dinner.

"that nation would probably be violent" (looks at cosnicu's pacisivism score)
"that nation is right wing" (looks at Cosnicu's form of governance)
"that nation looks like its straight out of a comic book" (Olkay. this one is technichally right, but i didnt recognize it at first)
"that nation is a corrupt dictatorship" (looks at Cosnicu's political freedom and integrity scores)
"that nation is scientifically advanced" (finally)

Both Vegetarianism and Veganism are looked down upon in the politan society. Liberal estimates place the amount of Vegans and Vegetarians to be respectively 0.5% and 3%

All Safiloan citizens are required by law to be vegan while within the national boundaries of Safiloa, with exception ONLY given to those visiting Kambanu Island (honey and dairy), or are a member of one of the protected indigenous tribes (honey and most invertebrates are seasonally permitted by the state to forage, harvest, or hunt). Religions or ideologies that forbid vegan eating are strictly forbidden from being able to proselytise within the state.

The state funded International Vegan Institute of Safiloa is a culinary, research, educational, and advocacy organisation headquartered in the Safiloan capital of Ponaiga.

Illegal fishing is one of the most common illicit activities in Safiloa and foreigners are usually blamed for it.

All in all, Safiloa is estimated to be 99% vegan.

The nation is over 90% vegetarian and over 70% truly vegan. Most native intelligent species are strictly vegetarian, consuming no meat although consuming some eggs, dairy and small amounts of seafood depending on their vicinity to such resources, with mass animal husbandry being strictly illegal. Native populations of hippogriffs (pescatarian), griffons (carnivorous) and human immigrants (omnivorous) make for the largest populations of non-vegetarians. Meat-eaters have many hurdles to pass, having to rely on farms giving away carcasses of naturally perishing animals, hunting permits, or imported meat (rare and expensive, generally sold in specialized shops).

Vegetarianism, veganism and pescatarianism in Viarecta have widely disparate rates of prevalence. Veganism is the least common of the three, although the reception of Viarectans to it is less hostile than in further Outward sectors. This can be attributed to the strong presence of Vegan Harmonism and cultural influences from colonies where the consumption of local meat proved deadly and imported livestock were expensive. For the same reason, pescatarianism is more common than veganism. Vegetarianism has an intermediate prevalence.

Respectively, 6.4% of Viarectans are vegan, 15.8% are pescatarian, and 15.6% are vegetarian.

Some of Naui Tu's population are vegetarian. 28% in total, and the total vegan population is 7%. It is equivalent to around 77% people in the eastern archipelago in special events like Lahaina Noon.

The thing is, the Eastern Archipelago has way fewer ports than the Western one. Just think, 3,250 versus a whopping 8,850! Makes international shipping a real hassle. On the flip side, Western providers are practically next door thanks to that International Date Line. So much easier!

Here's the cool thing about the Eastern Archipelago: farm life is super connected, not like those isolated farms out west. Imagine, an average rice field here is a whopping 30 acres, compared to a measly 10 acres back in the Western Archipelago. Talk about easy living!

Oh no! The economy in the Eastern Archipelago is taking a tumble. The main culprit? Not enough city-style food. But fear not, the Eastern people are a resourceful bunch! They're doubling down on their farming traditions, building more farms and fields to grow all the food they need.

Meanwhile, the Western Archipelago is living the high life. Their economy has always been booming (except for that hiccup during the Great Depression), and they basically have unlimited city food thanks to a clever trick. They ship cheap materials from the East to the West, and in return, get all the delicious food they could ever want.

It's a bit of an uneven trade, but hey, that's just how things are sometimes. Hopefully, the Eastern Archipelago can get its economy back on track soon, and everyone can enjoy delicious food in abundance!

So, the Eastern Archipelago is mostly vegan and vegetarian.

Based on the data that Marshay, Suprette and Billy's supermarkets shares to the Cabinet, it determined that about 25 percent of the City's inhabitants do not eat animal-based food in one form or another. 15 percent of the population are vegetarians, in the sense that they do not eat meat and seafood, but consume milk, eggs and other animal derivatives. The same dataset hints that 10 percent of the people are vegan, refusing to consume any food made with animal components.
