¡Buenas tardes, damas y caballeros! Welcome to the official Q&A for the great star-spanning Spanish empire of Castille! Or Nueva Castilla. Or at this point a bunch of culturally-based planets based on Spanish Empire territories and states that are just lead by Nueva Castille, and by a queen who is actually Catalan. Anyways, some hermanos may think to themselves; what is the reasoning behind what we do? What even HAPPENS in there? Well, this is what this thread is for; to answer your burning questions about the mighty empire!

Unfortunately Queen Celaeno won't do it herself because she's busy playing Rocket League in her underwear while snacking on spicy nuggets and Jarritos managing the empire with her royal grace. So, we're getting a band of personalities to answer things in their own fields:

Captain General Diego Magrina of Nueva Mexico: Has fought with the Castillan Army since the beginning in their many conquests, has been through the bloodiest and most legendary of battles and has managed his way through the ranks to become amongst the highest ranking in the Imperial Castillan Army. While war has taken its' toll on him because of all the things he had seen, he barely breaks down as he has eventually learned to make his PTSD more deep-seated, which, if suddenly expressed, makes him go about as bananas as Hulk on PCP. But, in nearly all cases, he is very well mannered and controlled

Benito Cambeiro, Bishop of Nueva Leon: Only a half-step below the Pope and one of the most powerful religious figures in the Empire, Benito considers himself devoutly Catholic, refusing to drink, eat red meat or insult anyone unless they are Islamic. He finds forgiveness in most people and also generally holds a significant regard to the Queen, who he advises in her moral choices.

Dr. María Fernanda Pozo: As a worldwide-renowned scientist based in Nueva Argentina who has had a profound interest in biology in plants, animals and sentient life ever since she was a young child. Now, within her files, she withholds data of practically every species within the empire's borders.

Jonathan Sancho: A young man who lives every day like its' his last and as, time and time again, explored practically all the planets and their cultures to the very last corner, and has taken in the vibrant traditions, foods, natural and urban sights and mannerisms of every planet and its' people, and has more stories to tell from last week than your grandmother could come up with on her entire life within a month.

Penélope Rodríguez: Being the Queen's old friend ever since they were both only 8 years old until she became Queen, Rodriguez knows many things about her best friends' personal life when they were young, and has published many novels about it that have sold millions.

Alfredo Santos: a Lusophone Brazillian comedian and television personality who has been doing business hosting multiple TV and radio shows and starring and writing a few films satirizing the ongoings of the empire, Santos knows how the media works and whatever shows, music, video games, movies or cartoons you want to know about, he has the drop on.

"Well, according to rough statistics I had found, it's actually pretty diverse. There's definitely a presence of Spanish CULTURE here and there, but really, the planets were originally provided for people who were nationals of the country or province that planet was designated too, such as there being Muslims and White Andalusian Spaniards in Nueva Andalusia, or Uruguayans in Nueva Uruguay. Really, the demographics go like this: we're about 45% Mestizo Hispanics (White/Amerindian mixed race), 30% Continental Europeans, 15% otherkin/aliens, 10% black, 3.5% human/otherkin mixed race, 2.5% asian and the rest are all either undocumented or are of other minority races. That's just the papers, though; you basically only either see aliens or Mestizo as far as I can tell."

I am interested to know your government's stance on unproven and heretical teachings that go against the Holy Bible? More specifically, the subjects of astronomy and evolution?

In the Ecclesiastical State of Portugal, it is illegal to preach such information as the truth. We do not recognise the claims of Galileo, Copernicus and others, about the Earth orbiting the Sun. That is what their physics say, but there is a fundamental problem with that: the reasoning of man will never be able to explain all of God's mysteries, and it is nothing but dangerous hubris to disturb things that are best kept secret.

"Well, while we understand that the tercio is long gone and there are far more efficient tactics and manners possible, our scientific capabilities have not yet matched up to that point. We did experiment with energy formulas in individual cartridges, but it didn't go hand-in-hand to what the doctrine desired, and the mechanisms of a gun would be too expensive and complex to support a plasma cartridge. We could experiment later when we have enough resources, but for now, we have to make do."

Hello I have a question about the Castillian Monarchy, Say would the Queen be able to depose the government or is there a constitutional constraint to her power Also I was wondering if you would be interested to establish embassies with foreign nation states?
