Apologies for not much RP in the recent weeks. Mostly busy with RL and other NSS-related commitments including NSCAA and a pre-existing arc that I've worked on for few years, as some of you might know.

The regular programming will be back next week for both QUE and 69X, especially the latter as Team Tsunopin now has to dunk on Hapalollipoppa.

Something's not right, I'm afraid. The timings for the Multiversal qualifications seem to be short track timings, not for the road course's.

Oof, thank you and I apologize!
My error was that I apparently did not enter the lap record time originally (so the time from Wreckeria was still there). Therefore, qualifying was re-scorinated entirely. There's a larger variance with road courses than short tracks due to the longer lap time (81 seconds as opposed to 16 seconds here), so because of that re-scorination was the best bet.

I might be getting a little extra wound up because of stuff that is going on IRL, but the more I think about it, the more I feel OOCly uncomfortable with the recent RPs about Ilya's bounty on Hap O'Loppa. Hap has said that the real reason why there haven't been any criminal charges against Ilya is because he feels uncomfortable doing it without Queb's permission. I don't think it's right that Hap was put in that position. Regardless of how Hap and Queb decide to proceed, I don't think it's appropriate that someone was put in a position where he feels like he has to ask permission to uphold his nation's laws.

I was originally going to leave this with just the IC response from IRACT, but it is bothering me OOCly.

I understand that Queb likes to push boundaries, but that's only OK if it's a level playing field where other people can push back. If Ilya's going to be committing crimes, not just stirring racing drama, then everyone should have permission to RP criminal justice consequences and not just NSSCRA penalties.

On another note: If anyone has any last minute Rumble entries, get those in tonight.

Hap and I have discussed a few things in advance with plans worked out on both ends. I won't go into great details for now, and probably won't be RPing with 69X until later tonight (at theatre rn). But it would most likely see Ilya withdrawing the bounty since Gord did say that he's going to maybe take a step back on his commentaries, so mission accomplished. Don't think he really expected people to respond so...enthusiastically, but that happens sometimes.

If y'all really bothered, however, I would be happy to withdraw both my nations from future NSSCRAs.

I don't think you need to withdraw from the series, just be careful that you aren't forcing people to ICly place Ilya above the law.

I have not forced anybody above the law, nor did I make a request to do so. Though I admit that with time crunch, things could have certainly been handled slightly better with Ilya's 'antics'. This I'm sure we all agree on.

In any case, I am more than happy to see fellow RPers how to go about it. Naturally I am more than happy to work with Hap on updates and will provide info as needed.

In terms of a suspension on Ilya Tsunopin, right now all we have is a Twii and it has not specifically been linked to the recent events. At this time, drivers should understand that NSSCRA is monitoring the situation closely, but doesn't have enough, yet, for a suspension.

RPers can come up with reasons why qualifying was slow, I guess.

Can we get update on when would be the likely cutoff date for the race proper? Mostly so that I'll get my RP in on time with QUE and possibly another for 69X.

I'm glad that the forum is back. This is a tough week for me to plan a mid-week race, so I am going to ask this of all participants:

Pretend the cutoff is today, get everything you want done in tonight. The race won't be tonight. If I can get in doing this race tomorrow or Thursday, cutoff will come right at that time without prior warning. If I can't get it in tomorrow or Thursday, then I will just delay it to Sunday.
