Literally the only argument you've provided is related to birth defects. Remove that possibility, and... you're still against it. If I had to guess, I'd say that the birth defect thing is just a convenient argument you can use to justify imposing your own arbitrary morality on others.

I disagree with it on a scientific stand-point, not out of morality. The problem with this is indeed the inbreeding aspect of it. The genetic implications are somewhat severe. However I do not believe it is within the governments right to forbid it. This is quite the conundrum...
