Nearly 60 years have passed, and good Queen Victoria still sits proudly on the throne. Her Empire has grown be leaps and bounds, and India and Canada have become her twin crown jewels. The CSA and its southern puppets are more powerful than ever, while Japan, Germany, Russia, China, Italy, the Ottomans, and others have formed alliances that ensure common security and peace, while making even a local incident ever more dangerous. Old rivalries continue to fester, and soon incidents will trigger the greatest war the world has ever seen....

Not instantly. It'll start in December and my first post will be in February of 1891for the first Imperial Conference, where leaders from across the Empire will meet.

Ukraine-Romania was formed after the marriage of Viktor of Ukraine and Alina of Romania. Following the uniting of the nations a period of industrial and military progress pushed the nation forward on the world stage.

Brief History up to 1890:
In the 1838-1890 time period, Venezuela rapidly changed hands between the conservative and liberal parties which each had their own methods to the industrialisation of Venezuela, a newer party, the Bolivar party was recently elected into power. The party sought to increase Venezuela's influence in the world by increased trade with nations other than the Confederacy and by seeking to end Venezuela's isolation from the world.

Brief History up to 1890:
With the death of Sharahad, several of his sons all claimed to be the true successor of the Khaganate. The several year long civil war that resulted ended in Tarkhad, who became known as the Steel Khagan, but only after imprisoning or killing his own siblings did his rule become absolute and cemented. Farkhad promises years of glory for the Ilkhanate and her people, but will he deliver?

Brief History up to 1890:
After Fernando Agrioli and his military backers overthrew the old King of Italy and established Roma Italia, the people of Italy and her colonies feared political repression and dictatorship, and Fernando gave the exact opposite. Now that Fernando had died, many of his later in life fascist ideals died with him. Horatius seems to be a promising new leader for democracy and for human rights. But Horatius and his council may have other things in mind...

Brief History up to 1890: After 1843, China's constitutional monarchy stays stable. Industrial production advances at a rapid pace again, competing with Japan and it becomes a key member of the Asian Trade League. Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism remain the major religions. In the 1840s, they take the Kerguelen Islands and use it as a penal colony, and in the 1860s, they take the Comoros. Madagascar gets purchased in 1888 from the French.

Brief History up to 1890: Guyane attracts immigrants and thus helps power the economy. Efficient processes in sugar production and banana production result in a developing industry. Assimilation of the natives of Guyane ensure citizens who follow the Temple of Reason and speak French. In the condominium, British settlers ensure English becomes dominant, but Guyanese settlers speaking French also settle West Guyane.

Brief History up to 1890: Crimea rapidly industrializes, but is dependent on Rum. Most of its goods that it produces heads to Rum, and most of its imports come from there. Its constitutional monarchy remains the envy of the world, especially compared to most of its neighbors, but their human rights record, especially toward the Ukrainian minority is poor.

Brief History up to 1890: After 1840, Portugal colonizes Morocco, Cape Verde, the Canaries. Lisbon industrializes, and railroads are built connecting the capital to towns, where mineral resources are valuable. 75% are serfs, 20% are freedmen and 5% are nobility, and a rise of anti-absolutist sentiment is starting to occur.
