I Balanced My Nation's Budget!

Postby Dustistan » Wed Aug 21, 2013 11:18 pm

Yes!!! My nation finally has a balanced budget!

About as balanced as can be, with only 8 categories of expenditure, anyway....

Now what do I do????

It's events like this, and the sheer enthusiasm of the player that make me smile.

Try on focusing on things that you think are more important. So try and greater what you spend on things that you think make a stronger nation. Hope that helped :)

As long as you stay the hell away from TET. Unless... you like being one of those odd ones who like to talk about waffles and furries in the same thread... :eyebrow:

Anyway, it is an accomplishment rarely seen. So good luck in whatever you choose to do next. :)

The line between education/law & order (red/green) upsets me, as it looks wonky. If you could take education down to 12%, and law & order up to 13%, I'd be much happier :P

Wow. That's pretty cool. Good work.

You've inspired me to consider maybe one day answering issues again.

Congrats, that is really cool! Now, can you do it with a 100% or 0% tax rate?

Hmm, I agree with this. Then all your lines can be straight too!

I'm impressed. I tried doing this with one of my puppets. It was a fun and rewarding personal challenge but I never achieved your results. Kudos to you, oh Budget Master! Keep up the excellent work! :D

Very well done! Haven't seen something like this before.

So, who will do the same with ALL departments? I think that could take a long time.

What do you mean 'disappeared' ? The chart only shows departments that have 1% or more. Anything less isn't listed. There are a few departments in the game which are not on your chart.

Is there a list somewhere? I need to know so I can balance them too.

Congratulations on creating a balanced budget. However, I do feel that increased spending is good in areas which you feel are important.

There's no official list, no. But if you look at: http://nsdossier.texasregion.net/statistics.aspx
and select "Nation: Government Priority Distribution" then you're getting an overview of all the government priorities which are currently present for at least 1 nation. There's an odd entry with no name, which I sent NewTexas (who maintains that site) a telegram about.

Congrats, I'm impressed :)
