I'm fairly sure he's being charged with treason or some such. Essentially, the dissemination of classified materials is very much illegal and an offense that puts someone on the terrorist list of several countries.

you'd think that treason thing would have been in the papers though.

only if they include rumsfield, cheney and carl rove as the troika who planed and hired ben laudin to subcontract the event.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

i'm not quite sure if the correct term would be "treason" though, since he isn't a US citizen (as far as I know). there are plenty of terms the government can throw around that mean the exact same thing "/

I think it's important to educate kids about what happened and the global War on Terror, and since most public schools don't have it in their curriculum (even though middleschool and early high school students were too young to remember or not even born yet), I think it's a good step for parents to teach their children about it independently. It's an important part of history that is relevant in our lifetime, that simply can't be ignored due to ignorance.

While the tactful thinking of using a coloring book to do so might be a little extreme to some, as it's said in the article, there's no way to approach this topic in a politically correct way; bottom line is that kids need to be educated about this, regardless of how parents choose to do it. On that note, I should say that the use of this book would be strictly up to the discretion of the children's parents, it's not like a teacher would be passing these around in class. I think it's important to restrict the book's use only to children who's parents approve of it's use, and letting the other children's parents teach them about it in whatever other way they choose to.

OK, that was sarcasm.
What was I saying is that we should make a coloring book called the "True Faces of American Imperialism."
We'll make kids color pictures of American drones killing innocent civilians! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

9/11 is a day slowly fading into history and out of the contemporary, thank god. Just look at how we responded to 9/11. We had two options:
1. Continue as usual and give Al Queda the middle finger.
2. Spend 1,000,000,000,000 attacking innocent civilians and occasionally killing someone who had a gun.

September Eleventh is disgraceful to me not because of the 3,000 civilians that died, but because it preluded a NATO counter attack which killed over one-hundred thousand foreign civilians. If Al Queda were the evil terrorists the American Soldier is Lucifer himself.

I find the whoel thing hilarious. Its like they make these just to create controversy. Also anyone else notice that Julian Assange is on the same level as people who blow up buildings. What he's done with wikileaks has been irresponsible and isn't helping anything, but seriously he's not on the same level as the others on there. Also several of the others are less terrorist and more just psychs that went and shot a bunch of people. Bad yes? But terrorism? Barely.
