.. Well, the only thing I find notable about some of the mods is that they always post flavour images when they take a moderation action, which I realize now comes off vaguely obnoxious

Alright, in the chance that my opinion is worth noting here, my real opinion is this: This is a hard forum. Very political, very (anti-)religious. The mods do the best they can with the people the have to rule over. I applaud their endurance.

There's a reason for that. It helps make sure that the post in question gets noticed and that there isn't any confusion about a post from me-the-player vs me-the-Moderator.

I would be lying if I said the "DI incident" doesn't still rustle my jimmies. Immediately before leaving for work, I had ruled that the word "tranny" wasn't actionable by itself; by the time I returned apparently I had somehow become Public Enemy #1 despite having virtually nothing to do with the ruling that was handed down during the intervening period.

Oh boy Another Eternal thread was created... I take it mods haven't found a solution to stop the lagging so Eternal can last longer then a week?

That's more on the game side and will undoubtedly be more to do with the servers than anything else.

Have you seen the amount of threads and posts there are?

I alone have over eight thousand posts and there are players who have tens of thousands.

Some who are little over a year old have more than me.

How do they do it?

Even at uni when I thought I was on here to much, even when I was unemployed and I thought I was on here too much, I didn't do that.
