I don't know what's wrong with Simcity Societies....(except maybe the lack of distasters). I enjoyed it. Haven't played it much due to lag, though.

I suggest you don't buy it if you are afraid to waste your money. Easy solution. Wait until you get opinions first. That's what I do. Even then, I only take peoples opinions with a grain of salt.

Well it was more like the difference between SC4 and SS... not only lag (VERY TOO MUCH) but also for a dull graphic, the lack of territory and the "medal specialization", also I've always found very too much bugs like the "infinity unhappiness" very stupid...

The problem is that the 100 $ version is supposed to have an "european like" building style..... and will be a limited edition!
....maybe a solution can be buy it from ebay later....

Yeah, I saw, but the list in the OP has many more sequels/prequels/remakes than original flavors.

I know that E3 isn't exactly the best launch vehicle for an original concept, but one can dream.

If Maxis can make the Sim City soundtrack comparable or better than the Sim City 3000 soundtrack, I'll buy it without hesitation.

It'd be cool if they could pull off something akin to CitiesXL 2012, where you have to balance population demographics to keep the city happy, to add another level of complexity to the game.

True, the overwhelming majority of the games churned out are pure shit, but occasionally we get a couple of gems. Most FPSs are shit, but some of the RPGs are good. I'm confident in Bethesda's shkills.

So, another E3, another slew of remakes and sequels to properties that really don't need them. Oh and a couple "original" ideas.

I don't see anything worth getting excited about.

Can't we be excited at the continued consistency of the universe?

I wouldn't mind some inconsistency. Like Lionhead making a Black and White 3.

I have, but fantasy games are really not my thing. I also have serious phobia of bugs and spiders, so playing Skyrim and Fallout games is pretty nightmarish to me :p

Also, no Mirror's Edge 2. Screw you EA! Nawww, you had to create one more brown'n'bloom shooter.. But no Mirror's Edge 2. Screw you.

I think someone made a Skyrim mod for arachnophobes that replaces all the frostbite spiders with bears. Which presumably means that there are points in the game where giant bears descent from the ceiling by a web coming from their asshole. Which would be awesome.

Really? That sounds interesting. I wish that there was a mod for Fallout: New Vegas that'd remove or replace the scorpions, bloatflies and other nasty wildlife with something less scary!

What about the Skyrim mod that allows you to craft a sword (from human flesh, leather strips and a sweetroll) called "The Sword of Friendship", which is shaped like Twilight and does 400 damage?

Sounds pretty crap really, but then they finally took out the alchemy/enchanting/smithing bug that allowed you to do quintillions points of damage.

I don't think such a thing would be too difficult to implement. Though, you couldn't just replace them all with bears, you'd never know what was going.

Also, wat? Bloatflies are possibly the least scary thing in the game. Cazadores are scary. Or deathclaws. Or Yao Guai.
