Nobody in their right mind would fly planes into buildings or put explosives in their underwear, but it happens. This would have an effect on the girl and her family for a week at the most, if they were very emotionally unstable. If that plane had been hijacked, it would effect a lot more families a lot longer.

This is off topic but if i saw some guy go up to my little girl or any of my family in a way that i believe is a threat to their safety i would kill them

But seriously, assuming that someone is a bad father because they would act logically makes about as much sense as getting yourself arrested because airport security wants to check any and all possible threats; none.
