After many years of unofficial, badly organised leagues being the only way for Kinitars to get their football fix, the recently-formed Kinitar Football Federation is proud to announce the inaugural season of the Kinitar football pyramid, consisting of three national divisions above a widespread non-league pyramid. Before we get the festivities underway, we're going to have a look at the teams who will be competing for glory in the first ever Kinitar Premier Division.

1. Maja
Home: All red with yellow trim.
Away: All yellow with red trim.
Literally "1st of May", one of a number of teams in the league named after aspects of the socialist culture (Revolučia of the B-league and non league Ruja Bandila ("red flag") spring to mind). They can cope well with both attack and defense in numbers, however, they are often caught out when attempting to use their swarm tactics against the top teams. Expect them to do well, but not too well.
Prediction: 5th.

AFC Damaciu
Home: All sky blue.
Away: Red shirts with a white sash, red shorts, red socks.
Damaciu are a solid, well-organised unit. The problem is, they don't seem to be much more than that. They can hold out well enough against anyone, but if they concede one, heads drop and they'll probably concede one or two more. Offensively, they possess not much of a threat, but they have been known to cause some shocks and turn some heads. Dark horses.
Prediction: 8th. But I wouldn't be surprised if they finished higher. One to watch.

Amzaberg United
Home: Blue and white striped shirts, blue shorts, blue socks.
Away: All black.
If you have to choose one team in the entire league to watch, make sure it's not Amzaberg. Their dull attempt at defensive football is nearly as bad as their actual defense. They'll struggle to make an impact against anyone, their blunt strike force receives absolutely no service and they'll be heading straight down to the B-league.
Prediction: 19th, relegated.

Avnani Athletic
Home: Green shirts, white shorts, white socks.
Away: White shirts, green shorts, green socks.
This team can be something of an enigma. They'll be strolling past one of the big names one week and struggle against the minnows the next, and it's usually their own mistakes which cost them dearly. If they played at their full potential, they'd be a guarantee to be up there at the end of the season, but as it is, they'll be lucky to finish top six.
Prediction: 7th.

Čilibeni Town
Home: Gold shirts, black shorts, black socks.
Away: All white.
I'm not sure what criteria the KFF used in order to choose which teams would compete in the first-ever Kinitar league, but Čilibeni have somehow slipped through the net. Simply awful, they make no attempt to play any sort of positive football, and without wanting to stick my neck out, if any team ever were a certainty for relegation, it's Čilibeni.
Prediction: 20th, relegated.

Chyri
Home: Green and red halved shirts, green shorts, green socks.
Away: White shirts with green and red trim, white shorts, white socks.
The representatives of the somewhat nationalist Chyr region, they've done astonishingly well to disassociate themselves from politics while at the same time maintaining quite a good football team. In my opinion, this Chyri team has the perfect balance between attack and defense in their squad, and if there was a flaw to be picked out, it would be that they find it difficult to last the entire season. Look for them fading away in the last ten to fifteen matches.
Prediction: 4th.

Club Ajbental
Home: Red shirts, black shorts, black socks.
Away: All salmon pink.
An unremarkable team with an extraordinary away kit - make sure you see it in action at least once this season. From a footballing perspective, they'll be fine. Doubts have been raised as to their ability to stay up, but they're solid enough at the back to guard against the poorer teams in the division. Mid-table mediocrity beckons.
Prediction: 13th.

Dinamo Paleu
Home: All white with blue trim.
Away: All blue with white trim.
Some say they play ugly. That doesn't matter, because they get the job done. Their infamous long-ball game will be able to take down the weaker sides with some ease, but they do tend to fall apart if a team is able to pass it around them. It looks like they're trying to focus more on the technical side of the game, but whether it comes off or not, expect to see them nestled comfortably in mid-table, not troubling either extreme of the league.
Prediction: 10th.

FC Serenberg
Home: Blue shirts, white shorts, white socks.
Away: Yellow shirts, blue shorts, blue socks.
Serenberg are one of those teams who can beat anyone in front of them, but when it comes to games against the big teams, they just lose their way. I'm not sure whether it's nerves or bad tactics, but they'll beat the bottom half and struggle against the top half. If they keep their cool, they'll make a late push, but...
Prediction: 6th.

Fojvalva Dragons
Home: Purple shirts, white shorts, purple socks.
Away: All orange.
The Dragons are a team very much on the decline in recent times. Three years ago, they could match the best teams in the country but limited transfer activity has seen the fade away dramatically, leaving the left side of the team especially weak. It's said that a team's never too big to go down, but the Dragons won't... not yet.
Prediction: 16th.

Inovita
Home: All red.
Away: All black.
Inovita are in every way a team in the ascendancy. Founded only in 2002, they very quickly rose to be an undisputed fixture in the nation's top band of teams. Their methods are new and untested, and so I think they'll have difficulty adapting to the league system, but they'll stay up with some ease and you should definitely take another look at them in five years' time.
Prediction: 12th.

Junulara Fojvalva
Home: Red and black striped shirts, white shorts, white socks.
Away: Sky blue shirts, white shorts, sky blue socks.
I can't really see Junulara (lit. "youth") causing the big teams a headache this season. Yes, they've ruffled some feathers in the past, but those days are long behind them, and their habit of playing too far up the field has seen them caught short many times. They're better than their cross-city rivals (marginally) but I wouldn't like to call the derby.
Prediction: 15th.

Litora United
Home: Brown and white striped shirts, brown shorts, brown socks.
Away: All white.
Litora are going to do well this season. They're superb at closing down quickly and then storming away on the counter-attack. They've proven that their set-pieces are a tricky threat to deal with, and their back four is the best Kinitaria has seen in a long time. If I could pick one flaw, it's that they've had no experience in dealing with the pressure of a long campaign, but I think they can handle it.
Prediction: 2nd.

Mi'ato
Home: Blue and white quartered shirts, blue shorts, blue socks.
Away: Black shirts with blue trim, black shorts, black socks.
The glory that they enjoyed long ago is past them, but there's no doubt that this young, fresh Mi'ato side will be up there come the end of the season. They've got the youngest, paciest side in the league, and there's no doubt that they can get a few goals, but their defense is probably just going to let them down. Minor improvement needed, but they're showing great progress.
Prediction: 3rd.

Mi'ato City
Home: Red and white striped shirts, black shorts, black socks.
Away: Navy blue shirts with red and white chest band, navy blue shorts, navy blue socks.
Now we come to the cream of the crop. Outshining their cross-capital neighbours in nearly every way, they can score a hatful of goals while keeping it tight at the back. Simple, direct, flowing football which is a nightmare for any team facing them to stop. They're not going to run away with it by any means, but there can surely be no other outcome.
Prediction: Champions.

Ščela Rapide
Home: Blue shirts with white sleeves, white shorts, blue socks.
Away: White shirts with red sleeves, red shorts, white socks.
While at first glance this Ščela team doesn't appear to be tactically gifted, they've got a few things going for them that their relegation rivals don't - chiefly, I think, that they're prepared to attack, they'll take some risks and they'll have a go even if the situation seems hopeless. They're a team of fighters, and I think it's that which will keep them up.
Prediction: 17th.

Spartak Rexitova
Home: Red shirts with white chest band, white shorts, white socks.
Away: Green and blue checked shirts, blue shorts, blue socks.
The other team in the "stunning away kit" gallery. They'll have no trouble staying up this season - if only because there's at least five teams worse than them in the division - but there's no way they'll finish top half. They just don't have the ability to challenge the teams playing there. Expect a fairly drab season, maybe marked with a run in the cup if they're lucky.
Prediction: 14th.

Taimanesta
Home: Black and white striped shirts, white shorts, white socks.
Away: All blue.
They've got the tactics right, but they just don't have the players. They like to try to play "crowd-pleasing" football, involving long moves with lots of silky passing, but they can't pull it off and it leaves them woefully exposed at the back. If they learn from their mistakes, they'll stay up, but I don't expect them to do that or anything else this season.
Prediction: 18th, relegated.

Unioni de Fule
Home: Blue shirts with red trim, red shorts, red socks.
Away: Red and white striped shirts, white shorts, white socks.
After initial early success, it's became rather stale at Fule and I wouldn't expect that to change this year. They have a very able management team, but their key problem is motivation. Once they lose one, it can be the spark that ignites a bad run, leading to their unfortunate tendency for self-destruction. While they have that, they'll get nowhere.
Prediction: 9th.

Universita Tirinthea
Home: White shirts with red trim, red shorts, white socks.
Away: Black shirts with yellow trim, black shorts, black socks.
Expect them to compound four or five seasons of continuous improvement by cementing their place in the Premier League. They can handle the smaller teams and they have the potential to cause one or two headaches for the big teams. They'll have few problems staying in this league and should even provide some entertainment for the fans while doing so.
Prediction: 11th.

Well, those are the teams, it's now over to the players to give us a thrilling first season of organised Kinitar football. I'm sure they won't disappoint - and what's more, international TV rights are up for grabs. The Kinitar Premier League, coming soon to a TV near you.

A clear gap between the top 2 and the rest now appears with ek888 and their 6-6-6 record catch up Jersey north. Napio adapted well to life in the super league and were just a win away from the globe cup. Newland Untied were hungover from their cup run and now face life in the HO league.

TQCC:Harloop National, seats 150,00O, the Harloop National is the perfect place to hold a Champion's cup final as not only does it have sate of the art facilities in the stadium it is right in the centre of the vibrant city of harloop. We will start off with the fans experience during the match, on the back of every seat in the stadium there is a board. This board has a let's the fans buy food, drink, team kits, team hats etc with just a few taps of there finger and without leaving they'er seat. This is catered for by a team of over 500 a match. This is in operation during the match and 30 minutes before and after it. The stadium has two big TV at each end of the pitch providing the teams and the score for those who are sometimes a bit forgetful. There is no running track here to bring the fans even closer to the action. Now on to what we have for the teams. The dugouts are massive 20meters by 10meters and each player and coaching staff gets a seat with two arm rests and that is undercover (like the rest of the stadium). The dressing rooms are of equal size and have 30 shower heads and 15 bath tubs each. They also have places for up to 30 players a TV and a 50meter by 30meter medical room. The two teams have different press conference rooms too and we have a car park with room for 200 cars 75 with be reserved for teams and UICA. Of the 7,500 hotel rooms in the city 3,000 will be reserved for teams and UICA. Nearly everyone in this city is a football fan supporting one of the city's four clubs. Those clubs are: harloop city, harloop untied, harloop north and harloop south.

Ko-oren National League Season 1 To An End

Over the past months, the KFA put an effort to smoothing out the KNL, and with success: the first season has ended and the preparations for the second season are already under way.

Maethoru have seized the very first championship by some distance! When the season was around half-way, the team found themselves struggling for points, but ended up playing majestically the rest of the season and overtook their rivals, and managed to get a 8 point gap with the number two.

From there on, teams gradually get less and less points, but there is never such a big gap as between numbers 1 and 2 anymore. Except the last two teams, that only managed to accumulate 33 and 31 points: by far the worst records of the league.

Matchday 18
We were expecting Bradwell to be toppled from the summit....but losing to Kovenham? Really?

The big two, of course, have no problem with this whatsoever. Avidia United's win over Ashton sends them top, whilst Ousevale squeak past New Cefn to haul themselves above Saints and into second.

At the top, meanwhile, the three horses continue to fall over each other; Avidia United ar held by Casuals, allowing Ousevale to go top courtesy of a win at Oxley Park. Bradwell, too, remain well in touch with a routine win over Beckton. Expect more hijinks next week as Ousevale and United clash.

...Except, of course, they fluff their lines, only managing a point themselves against Caledon to remain third. The point doesn't even help their opponents, as Westleigh win against the Mariners to plonk the Simpson side at the foot of the table.

In a KFA Cup that seems to be going rather disappointingly to plan, it's good to see that there's still one side managing to strike a blow for the little guy.

Step forward Notegia Rangers, who eliminated Premier Division strugglers Kovenham at home; with Loco, Secklow, Neathill and Nenbridge all losing, they're the only side from outside the top flight still in the competition as we head for the last eight. Not bad for a side looking like being relegated from the First.

Avidia United pushed Ousevale all the way a couple of weeks ago. Avidia City? Not so much. The Tigers leave the Avidair Stadium five goals and three points to the good as they look to regain the title. Bradwell, though, aren't giving up without a fight, and a 3-0 win over Kallia sees them leapfrog United into second place.

In the red zone, meanwhile, the bottom two meet at the Ulvæus in a one-sided affair, as Westleigh heap more misery on struggling Simpson.

Four-one seems to be the order of the day at the top of the table. Ousevale (against Ashton) and Avidia United (at home to Stanton) both muster that scoreline, keeping the three point gap between them.

Just behind, though, Bradwell's season is starting to fall apart around them. Defeat at home to Royal Emberton leaves them seven points adrift of the lead; not only that, but they've got Mercia, Casuals, and New Cefn all just two points adrift of them.

The big game, of course, is second versus third at the New City Stadium. It served up a thriller, with Bradwell giving a good account of themselves, but in the end it's the Eagles who take those vital three points. Bradwell, meanwhile, slip to fourth; surprisingly, though, it's New Cefn who overtake them courtesy of a win over Kovenham.

Mercia Bromham, meanwhile, will be cursing themselves after being outplayed by Caledon Simpson; those three points lift the Caleys off the bottom of the table. Sorry, Kallia.

Ah, the Mercian Classic. A day guaranteed to provide headlines, and today is no exception. Surprisingly, though, it's not the Classic itself generating those column inches, despite the fact the match was an entertaining three-all draw.

Instead, top billing went to the scenes of absolute carnage behind. Avidia United surrendered three points to Westleigh - WESTLEIGH! - whilst New Cefn found themselves on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline against Beckton. Bradwell, meanwhile, regain third place by virtue of being the only side in the morning's top eight to actually win a match.

Oh, and to top it all off, Kallia United win at Walton Gardens to send their opponents back to the foot of the table in their stead.

They'll be dancing in the streets of Tyfield tonight! Notegia may be screaming in the general direction of Krytenia's third flight, but they're clearly doing something right. They bludgeoned Casuals to one hundred and twenty minutes of stalemate, before eliminating their Premier Division opponents in the shootout.

Their next game doesn't look any easier, though; although Mercia are out, Emberton Reds are through in their place; they'll be joined by Ousevale and Avidia United.

Senior Championship Standings
At the sharp end of the season it's the experienced heads of Extramarine who had more about them to blast through post-season, recording some big scores along the way including two 6-1 wins in their opening two games, and averaging nearly five goals per game. The Dickinsons, as they are known, win their second Championship in a row. Their only defeat came at the hands of Clunwardine Salopia in a thrilling 3-6 reverse, and the surprise team who continue to defy the odds went on to secure their second UICA berth, this time in the Globe Cup. Humunculus Alumni continued their good progress to grab the runners-up spot, with more old hands, Tanguy School of Architecture, securing the final spot.

Junior Championships Standings
The Junior Championships expands to 12 teams this season to accommodate the top four teams from the expansion league, including the two Bears Renaimated sides CareNaught Rangers and Royal Monster FC. A surprise Junior title for Portsmouth FC who are mirroring their interdimensional counterparts by playing through a series of off-field disasters and a decimated squad, but doing so with some grit and determination to qualify for UICA competition next season. What will come of it is anyone's guess. Former World Cup team FC.58 recovered well from throwing away the divisional title which they had one hand on before bottling to grab runners-up in the championships, with the Library Apprentices and Titanium Juniors delighted to have supplanted Students of Sixteen Bits for the final places - the seemingly unbeatable Calculators fading disastrously after a good start to the post-season. For the three ursine teams post-season proved too much, each of them turning in a weary set of performances overall.

For the second season running the Old Fellas come up short in the big game at The Mausoleum, as the 'Geos take their first Varsity title with an impressive win, where they may feel they could and should've won by a bigger margin.

A strong run-in from Old Fellateians ensured that they completed a consecutive league championship with points to spare, opening a 12-point gap at the end of the season to make it look all too easy. Humunculus Alumni completed their best ever season to secure second place, while a late charge from Old Asyluuminarians earned them third, and the Old Geodimensionalists make up the Aumni's Senior Championships elect. Disappointment for Old Calculators, missing out again with a patchy season, and former Senior Championship sides Old Tamarindians, Rear Admirals and Old Realists all had seasons to forget.

Haphazard Foundation
With the Haphazard Foundation's expansion programme continuing apace, this season's expansion division is considered to be on a par with the existing second division, hence the label 2-X. At the end of the season, 2-X will provide four teams for the expanded Junior Championships which becomes a 12-club tournament like the seniors. But it will not provide a promotion pathway to the first division. The top 11 finishers in 2-X will form the new second division for next season, along with four teams relegated out of the top flight and teams placed 5th - 11th in the existing second division. The bottom half of both second tier divisions will form the new third division next season. It is expected a fourth tier will also be added, although if it is, it will not be on the same expansion basis as 2-X but rather form the bottom tier automatically.

First Division
In a thrilling end-of-season run-in, Clunwardine Salopia have defied the odds to win the Haphazard Foundation in their debut season in the top flight, despite being tipped for an immediate relegation. It took an extraordinary turn of events on the final day with five teams still able to claim the championship. Extramarine, top of the league after a strong finish, lost at mid-table Oroboros. Saracen FC were second on goal difference and could only manage a draw at home to third placed Haphazardistas. Clunwardine Salopia, back in fourth, took advantage of the stuttering leaders with a glorious 3-1 win over Haitiëns to take the title, while Arkham's win over Trench Brigade by a single goal earned them second. Reigning champions Extramarine dropped from first to fourth on the final day, and only a draw at Oroboros would've won them the title.

Two of the relegated teams bounce straight back, Portsmouth FC missing out on the title on the final day to Crematorium, and CTE Refugees denying Tundra Axle FC who, despite pretentions of being a top-flight club, remain unable to actually get there. Other relegated side Nevervember Social Club just manage to escape the third tier cut, but no such luck for El Narcos nor 'big' clubs FC Berserkr and Zenegalesi.

The Avidia derby turns into a big "screw you" for United as City thrash them 4-1; it's a big boost in the relegation catfight for the men in red. Sadly, though, it's a catfight that Westleigh are now out of, as they succumb to Stanton and relegation in last place. Casuals, meanwhile, have an outside chance of a Champions' Cup spot; they'll have to hammer New Cefn and hope Caversham do them a favour though.

Elsewhere, Aigburth's win over Kovenham means the Shags are mathematically safe; it's two from four going down at the bottom of the table, with Avidia City, Beckton, Simpson, and Kovenham all sweating.

And so, to the final day. At the bottom, Beckton's win over Aigburth launches them to safety...but Avidia City can't do the same against Mercia, and are left sweating. Caledon, though, managed to throw away a two-goal lead at home to Emberton Reds and they're through the trapdoor. Kovenham, meanwhile, never looked in it against Stanton, and they'll be joining Simpson and Westleigh in the First next season.

Casuals, meanwhile, failed in their bid to topple Avidia United for second - in epic fashion. They were well beaten by New Cefn, and the result saw Mercia and Albion overtake them into the two guaranteed Globe Cup spots. Osteria will now be hoping for a Tigers double to reach the UICA competitions.

There was a little more movement in the Astograthian transfer market as World Cup 59 kicked into gear. National team goalkeeper Zernin Aira did not renew his contract with Erathi side Royal Vosaroni Antenelli to captain boyhood club Sporting Iturributa, thereby forcing Aztore Irungarai to search for new horizons; those of Krytenian giants Ousevale Borough, as it turns out. In the only other departure, Beremando Aldoaga sets out to try his luck in the neighbouring Civil Citizenry, having been frozen out at Royal Rumiatzi.

There were two international signings: Urbizania Wanderers wisely snapped up Yesopalithan winger Fantasia Cecil-Marie, who made headlines by becoming the first female to play in the Astograthia League, and defending champions paid big money for Sargossan battering ram Alejandro Martinuccio. Retirements included that of Polarian defender Egor Helguson, Citiz midfielder Elston Piran-Osrick and especially Kagdaz striker Kolya Tchailharovic, who took the decision to end his career due to a recurring knee injury.

As far as domestic transfers go, Athletic Club Rumiatzi was absolutely cannibalised after their relegation; Marcel Sanderskye's move to a troubled Blue Mountain Range could make him the first man, nevermind foreigner, to go down with three different clubs in consecutive seasons. Also part of the fallout, Munio Baranzano picks up the armband at Lermendia FC and Gaur Arambilet lines up for Urbizania Wanderers at the young age of 37. Finally, young Tamarindo defender Efraín Vizcaíno has been brought in at Royal Rumiatzi as backup.

A solid defense, creative midfield and merciless forward line, like they haven't had in years, all essentially constructed from the ground up, could finally take them to victory once again.

All in all still a decent, but not excellent, squad. The decision to hand over the armband to the young and occasionally temperamental Iban Bachiondo is also questionable.

And while defense has never been United's strong suit, some tightening up at the back and young blood down the wings wouldn't do any harm. Has any of this been done? No, and we can't see Mayorga Achaga as manager this time next year.

Notes: Edorta Urrustoy may not be a standout manager, but over three seasons it has become clear he has a very shrewd eye for signings. This time was no exception, with top Yesopalithan winger Fantasia Cecil-Marie costing the club no money in transfer fees and drawing excellent publicity as pundits across the nation debate whether she should be allowed to compete; the FAF, pointing out there has never been a gender restriction, gave Wanderers the go-ahead. Meanwhile, Urrustoy also landed the experienced Urritz Otegi and up-and-coming Giro Ekenarro as backups for defense, as well as 37 year-old striker Gaur Arambilet, who was relegated with Athletic Club Rumiatzi and still ended up as joint-third top scorer in the First Division. The former league champion with Royal Rumiatzi and Vincanto of Erathore simply refuses to retire, and is welcomed with open arms by Olibondeka teammate Urrustoy.

Following the awarding to the City of Metropolis of an Order of Merit by UICA, the authorities of the second most important city of Valladares, along with the Executive Board of Tannneberg Football Club, wish to put White Meadow Arena to the consideration of the UICA Selection Committee as a potential venue for the next Champions' Cup final.

Located in the outskirts of the city of Carloburgo, 20 minutes away from the city centre, this stadium is the most recent built in the nation, having been inaugurated by Tannenberg FC at the start of the tenth Valladar Super League season (14 seasons ago). The "Bowl", as the stadium is nicknamed by TFC fans, is fully equipped and able to increase its capacity in exceptional cases thanks to retractable stands on the ends which can bring the spectators (specially those ones in the Knights End, home to Tannenberg's hardcore fans) closer to the pitch, greatly improving the game's atmosphere and fan experience, however, despite being one of the most modern stadia in the nation, it has yet to be in the plans of the Valladar Football Association to host a single game of the Valladar national football team, with the VFA having always preferred Olympic Stadium, the former big venue for football in the city.

Bastion Arena

For the last nine years, the magnificent Bastion Arena stadium has been home to the FSSO national team and one of its leading football teams, Bastion FC. Although they are a prestigious club, Bastion have not qualified for a major tournament this year, so the stadium is free for use for any of this years prestigious UICA competitions – this is a three way bid for the Champions Cup, Series B Champions Cup and Globe Cup. The stadium is situated in the middle of Bastion, capital city of the FSSO, in the Roland District - a vast expanse of metropolitan paradise, with the lights of the city to the east and the red haze of industry to the south.

Transport is very good in the area, with plenty of main roads around it (lots of them recently relayered) and Memorial Hill International Airport nearby, one of Bastion's four international airports. There will be an extensive park and ride system in place and a special temporary train schedule will be sorted out to allow for quick transit to the stadium. The stadium itself has a capacity of 98,000, and is specifically designed to maximise the amount of playing area available and the visibility of the event to fans. It has world class catering and facilities throughout the ground, as well as 5,000 executive seats and boxes for various VIP's and sporting agencies.

The stadium had its pitch was re-laid just last year and already accommodated an undersoil heating and multi-event capability system, allowing it to be quickly modified for multiple sports - but it serves best as a football pitch, a large one, allowing free flowing, attacking and hopefully injury free play. It also has extensive safety procedures and a government enforced minimum of stewards per game, making it one of the safest grounds in the world.

However, its atmosphere is perhaps it’s greatest quality. This stadium concentrates the noise of fans into a passionate atmosphere with its state of the art architecture, which is matched by an impressive lighting and audio suite and large interactive scoreboards.

While UICA officials will of course conduct the ceremonies associated with any of these finals, the FSSOFA insist an FSSO military ceremonial unit give a guard of honour to the players along with UICA and FSSOFA mascots, and before the game the national anthem of the FSSO will briefly be played.

The FSSOFA confirms that it will divide seating allocation as follows;

 38,500 seats for both sets of fans. (77,000 over all.) The two sections of fans will be segregated – one half of the stadium for one set of fans, the other half for the opposition fans.
 15,000 seats for neutral supporters, 10,000 of which will be guaranteed for FSSO citizens.
 5,000 executive seats for dignitaries and VIP’s, which will be divided appropriately amongst the clubs and other groups.
 1,000 seats to remain empty to divide segregated fan sections.

This can be negotiated if the bid is accepted.

The FSSO Football Association, Bastion Football Club and B-Arena PLC hope this wonderful venue will be a site for the next Champions Cup Final, Series B Champions Cup Final and Globe Cup Final.

COLONIAL CUP
Introduction
At the end of every season, the top teams from Filopines and the colony of Catocton play in a single match to determine the qualifier for the Cygnus Cup.
This season, Filopines' Ebbtoll will play against Catocon's West Hockett.
So there is no home ground advantage, the Colonial Cup will be played at different regional stadiums around Filopines and Catocton.

Match Report
After full time the scores remained level. In extra time, Ebbtoll scored two goals to win and go through to the Cygnus Cup.

Bastion hand wonderkid Oslograd pro contract and loan him to Hornchurch

Bastion's young wonderkid Skorji Oslograd, labelled the next Lee Sharp, has signed professional terms at Bastion. The youngster (who's name comes from his parents Polarphilic tendencies), is 17 years old and is likely to make his debut next season. Oslograd, who is expected to represent the FSSO at the next Di Bradini Cup, said he was 'delighted' to agree terms. He has gone on loan to Hornchurch with immediate effect.

Ulsa win race for Dawson

Marketville revelation Clive Dawson has finally left the relegated club; for a £10m fee as he moves on to Ulsa. Ulsa, who need a supporting midfielder who can not only feed Nicky Martin but score bucketloads of goals, have picked the perfect player who burst into the FSSO team with two fantastic seasons for Marketville, despite relegation in the second.

Culpapy offload Bardson for £4m

Culpapy United surprised many this transfer window by offloading Dave Bardson to Swartaz side Vasteras IK, despite the 27 year old centre forward scoring 14 goals in the Gold League last season.

Stona United offload Spider and Kerr

Relegated Stona United have been forced to offload experienced striker Robert Spider and young international FSSO defender Nicholas Kerr. Spider has been sold to Culpapy United for £2.5m whilst Kerr moves to Farrenton Athletic for £3m.

Dudsbury fail to keep Champion

Dudsbury central midfielder Stan Champion has left the club on a free transfer and signed for newly promoted Holdenberg.

Farrenton swoop for Aelsh pair and Knowles

Farrenton Athletic have secured the signings of two Aelsh youngsters to help the fallen giant revive themselves as they return to the Gold League. 19 year old Rhodri Evans is a central midfielder signed from Doverston. The other signing is hot prospect Bryn Thomas, a 20 year old inside forward from Pentref-ar-y-Bae. They also got left midfielder Sammy Knowles on the cheap (only £1.5m) from Marketville.

Holdenberg secure dos Santos services

Holdenberg have secured Swartaz striker Jonny dos Santos for £1m from Vaastrada. The 20 year old striker will hope to help Holdenberg survive their return to the Gold League.

Sameba's Carter off to Swartaz

22 year old FSSO right back has left Sameba for Swartaz side Jasmuur Ospreys, a mid table top tier team who will hope to use the promising right back as a catalyst for success. Sameba meanwhile look destined for a tough fight against relegation.

IFK Goteborg's Jouberg makes St Peters move

St Peters have brought in 19 year old central attacking midfielder Kimi Jouberg from IFK Goteborg for an undisclosed fee.

The Gold League Prediction Challenge with Clint Covey

As we approach another Gold League season living another fantastic one in our wake, the time has come to begin predicting how various teams will fare this season. The last few years have been particularly exciting as the Bastion/Directus decade long period of domination ended with a series of close run campaigns, one of which was won by Sparta FC - and this season looks to be similar, with title holders Directus by no means outright favourites.

AFC Mayville
Finishing position last season: 10th
Manager: Brezovan Wallace
Key Players: Chad Parsons, Colin Nelson

AFC Mayville have secured their place in the Gold League for now with two consecutive mid table finishes after promotion, however they will be worried that both times they have started the season well then faltered later on. Chad Parsons will hope to break the 15 goal mark for a 3rd season in a row but if he gets injured or loses form Mayville could drop into the relegation battle.

Predicted finish this season: 13th

Bastion
Finishing position last season: 6th
Manager: Louis Williamson (New Hackney)
Key Players: Mike Humphrey, Joe Arne Pizza, Recobo, Carlos Aduna, Persa Ryans, Buschak Dassuna, Geoff Day, Jim Cotterill, Filip Samuel, Sebastien Wilfstrand

Bastion failed to adapt to life without Sam Needle last season, which hampered their recovery after a poor season beforehand meaning they could only finish 6th. Their decievingly strong team will hope to prove their doubters wrong this season and I fully expect them to make a push for the top 4 - but doubt they have the consistency to pull it off. Expect them to make a move for Chad Parsons next summer.

Culpapy United
Finishing position last season: 14th
Manager: Neil Knowles
Key Players: Rob Spider, Andy Wilk, Mickey Smith

Culpapy United's revival has been well documented and marked as one of the true success stories of Euran football. Only 8 years after nearly being liquidated, the club that produced Lee Sharp has returned to the Gold League - this time with a solid financial base and a strong team. Although they lost Dave Bardson in the summer Rob Spider has been brought in as a source of regular goals, and Andy Wilk and Mickey Smith should give Neil Knowles side the edge they need to finish in the top half.

Dartmoor
Finishing position last season: 12th

Ender Wiggin was a breath of fresh air for the declining Dartmoor last season, and the strangely named 21 year old New Hackneyian Eye Barsa looks full of promise. However, Dartmoor have lost their manager to underachieving Honeybadgers (somehow) and could struggle this season.

Predicted finish this season: 14th

Directus
Finishing position last season: 1st
Manager: David Spearman
Key Players: James McCroft, Dennis Arnold, Daniel Belgrave, Mayano Salono, Paul Fessner, Michael Robertson, Tom Riley, Bill Riley, Petter Vertinskay

Directus have managed to win two titles in the last five seasons, and will certainly do well this season. Youth products such as the Riley brothers and Michael Robertson, and genius buy Paul Fessner, have proved to be inspired choices by the unflappable David Spearman. Daniel Belgrave remains the best goalkeeper in the country and the McCroft/Arnold right side pairing remains formidable. However, Directus have been riding their luck a bit and Sparta FC and Revolutionaries can be expected to pick up their form this season.

Farrenton Athletic
Finishing position last season: 1st in the Silver League
Manager: Rob Jovinsky
Key Players: Rhodri Evans, Nicholas Kerr, Bryn Thomas, Sammy Knowles

So, they're back. Several seasons after their great cash splashing experiment failed in spectacular fashion, Farrenton Athletic return to the Gold League. With a strong but not foolhardy financial strategy Farrenton look like the most able of the promoted sides to stay up. They made two smart purchases in securing young Aelsh talents Rhodri Evans and Bryn Thomas, whilst bringing in good young FSSO players with Gold League experience in Nicholas Kerr and Sammy Knowles.

Predicted finish this season: 15th

Holdenberg
Finishing position last season: 2nd in the Silver League
Manager: Adam Jones
Key Players: Jonny dos Santos, Stan Champion, Odvlek Cario

Newly promoted Holdenberg will relish the chance to play their rivals Holdenberg City for the first time in the league for years. Although their team is by no means the strongest, Stan Champion will bring much needed structure to the midfield, Sameban defender Odvlek Cario will dominate the defence and young Swartaz striker Jonny dos Santos should provide some goals for the newly promoted side. They seem strong enough to stay up but will have to avoid injuries.

Holdenberg City
Finishing position last season: 9th
Manager: Alain Letetre (Cotadelpoms)
Key Players: Pola Grabnyak, Joan Cruft

Alain Letetre of Cotadelploms worked wonders with Holdenberg City last season, largely thanks to the efforts of New Hackneyian sensation Pola Grabnyak. With his 23 league goals, the International Player of the Season and Player of the Season helped Holdenberg City to finish an unexpected 9th. However they did not build on this success over the summer, although they have secured a professional contract for home grown prospect Joan Cruft. If Grabnyak misses a single game, they will struggle.

Predicted finish this season: 9th

Honeybadgers

Honeybadgers underachieved last season despite having Guy Stamp back from a series of injuries the year before. Without his 16 goals, they almost certainly would have been relegated. However, I think good times are on the horizon for Honeybadgers who reinforced the side in the summer and got hold of 20 year old midfield prospect Steven Marshall from Thagarnia.

Hornchurch
Finishing position last season: 7th

Key Players: Graham Hill, Carl Coffa, Nick Feeney, Skorji Oslograd (LOAN)

You have to wonder when the Hornchurch bubble is going to burst - the financially insecure Hornchurch have ridden their luck over the last few seasons securing a number of good finishes, and even qualifed for UICA competition. Graham Hill is getting too old to go on now and will retire at the end of this season, and Nick Feeney will surely leave for a bigger club, leaving the only conclusion in this reporters mind to be as follows; the bubble will burst soon. Perhaps what might keep Hornchurch going a little longer is Bastion wonderkid Skorji Oslograd. The 17 year old, on a season long loan, is already being called the new Lee Sharp.

Predicted finish this season: 8th

Lajuno
Finishing position last season: 13th
Manager: Mikelatz Mendialde (Astograth)
Key Players: Mario Mikkenen, Conway Carlton

Lajuno finished 2nd the season before last - they must be wondering where it all went wrong. After now Falourr manager Clive Kent was sacked unceremoniously for Lajuno's failure to build on their surprise success, 63 year old Mikelatz Mendialde from Astograth has come in to manage Lajuno through what could be a tough period. Mendialde's defensive strategy could be key to keeping Lajuno away from the relegation battle.

New Harkdown
Finishing position last season: 5th
Manager: Hamilton Le'Arse
Key Players: Ross Browning, Lewis Moore

New Harkdown finished impressively last season in an unusually high position at 5th, only just missing out on UICA qualification. One has to feel they need new blood in to replace Ross Browning and will not replicate last seasons performances this time round, but they should find themselves comfortably in the top half by the end of the season.

Revolutionaries
Finishing position last season: 4th
Manager: Michael Brand
Key Players: Keiron Kane, Clevon Drago, Mikael Johannes, Clive Mallardino, Ascot Sanders, Colin Collymore

Three top four finishes in the last four seasons has been seen as a major reversal of fortunes for Revolutionaries, one of the FSSO's better clubs seemingly fading away after their infamous "Dodger Season" where manager Mark Dodger saw them fall to a lowly 16th place finish. They finished 4th last year and 6th the year before that - dissapointing after previously missing out on the title in Bastion on the final match day - but you have to feel things are looking up for them despite the revival of Ulsa. I think with their squad, despite Clevon Drago nearing the end of his career, should finish 3rd.

Sameba
Finishing position last season: 11th
Manager: Calvin Mack
Key Players: Hamilton Robery, Nile Samson

'Boring' Sameba once again limped to a mid table finish last season and look set to do so again, although the loss of Jay Carter may make things more difficult. I think Sameba will have issues once Hamilton Robery inevitably moves on though.

Sparta FC
Finishing position last season: 3rd

Key Players: Seryou Kobe, Marseto Silvia, Josh Stevenson, Antonio Marino, Dalton Bradshaw-Laughton, Sam Thomas, Djourou Calaga, Mikhael van Germ

Sparta FC were favourites to win a consecutive Gold League title last year but a bit docile towards the end of the season and only managed 3rd. However, they remain a very strong side and with their deadly front three they should capitalise on Directus' weaknesses to win the title for the second time in three years. However, Sam Thomas will have to produce the goods this time to compete with Paul Fessner.

St Peters
Finishing position last season: 3rd in Silver League
Manager: Ricky West
Key Players: Kimi Houberg

St Peters have made an astute signing in Kimi Houberg, but they lost their two best players to retirement in the summer and this small club have only made one signing - Houberg. Easily the weakest of the three teams to come up, I fully expect them to go straight back down in a similar manner to Dashturnbein.

Ulsa
Finishing position last season: 2nd
Manager: Albert Osman
Key Players: Grant Davis, Steven Thompson, Jonathan Steele, Cornelius Barnes, Craig Castleton, Luther Van Ferris, Nicky Martin, Clive Dawson

Albert Osman has really uplifted Ulsa after a few tough seasons, taking them to a narrow 2nd last season, losing the title race only on goal difference. The rebirth cannot stop here though; with Grant David, Steve Thompson, Cornelius Barnes, Craig Castleton and Luther Van Ferris all into their thirties, they have to continue building their squad so their progress is sustainable. Although I doubt they will achieve what they did last season again this season, the purchase of Clive Dawson and influx of capital from their owners should ensure a top 4 finish although Bastion will be on their tails.

Ulsa Rovers
Finishing position last season: 17th
Manager: Simon Hobart
Key Players: Jay Morrison

Ulsa Rovers have had a few close calls with relegation since they came up from the Silver League, escaping narrowly on goal difference last year as Marketville went down. However, I think it will be too much for them this year as their squad is very weak, with Jay Morrison being their only real quality player.

West End Athletic
Finishing position last season: 16th
Manager: Vacant
Key Players: Luke Bluewater, Lewis Calvaclade

I think it's obvious that West End will struggle again this season. They don't have any real quality in their side beside Bluewater and Calvaclade. WEA and Ulsa Rovers will be replaced by Farrenton Athletic and Holdenberg.

Workers Union
Finishing position last season: 8th
Manager: Frank Cole
Key Players: Rich Foley, Nick Hamill, Lyle Heath

Workers Union have become a regular fixture in the Gold League, and look set to remain so. With a strong team they will be looking for another top half finish this season, and FSSO U18 international Lyle Heath will hope to get his first proper season in the first team after debuting as a 17 year old last season.

The inaugural season of The Icemark Football League saw Frostmarris win a league and cup double. The big naval town of Old Haven were steady performers all season and took the runners up spot. The small fishing town of Michael's Bay were the stand-out performers of the first year after recording a 3rd spot finish in the league. The pre-season joint favourites Bendis only managed 4th spot, and will be looking for a better showing next season. Inglesby remained undefeated for over half a season and lost less games than the champions, but ultimately too many draws cost them a higher finish than 5th. Learton started off brightly, leading the pack for a little while, but faded as the season went on. A lot more was expected of Bolby and their 11th place finish could cost the manager his job. The two northernmost cities, Pendris and Wearford finished at the root of the table, well behind the rest of the pack.
The Top Scorer Award went to Redrought Lindenshield of Frostmarris who scored 30 League goals and 4 cup goals. The game of the season was Frostmarris's comeback victory against Bendis which practically won them the title. Bendis were 3-1 up and Redrought Lindenshield had to come up with an amazing 4 minute hatrick from the 88th minute into injury time to produce the remarkable turnaround.
Attendances were very high with Frostmarris's Citadel Lane averaging 5,000 fans and the Bendis Bowl averaging 3,500. Michael's Bay had the lowest overall avergae attendance of 425 fans. The Icemark Shield Final at Odin's Hall had nearly 6,000 in attendance.

Okay, everybody... remember that spreadsheet I'm using in lieu of a new season preview post every month? Remember how I'm doing that to avoid burnout, and such? Well, I've updated it for the start of the 5255 season, and it looks even nicer than it did last time. Here is the link:

Pre-5255 Season Player Database

Again, it is readily available for anybody to view and edit provided they have a Google account. Now, I do ask if you make changes that they be small things like spelling corrections. Nobody likes a troll. Besides, I can undo any change I want and have a hard copy on my laptop, so you'd only be wasting your own time if you screwed with it too much.

Remember, as before, that you can sort the database(s) by selecting the funnel-shaped toggle marked 'filter' in the top bar and then hitting the arrow on the column heading, after which you'll be presented various sort options. Even if you don't want to sort stuff, I have made the file quite a bit easier to read by color-coding the thing...

Players that have not changed teams since last season are in green. Players who have been transferred to a new club in the close season are in blue. Players that are on loan for the 5255 (AKA current) season are in purple. If a player is new to the database (AKA has been added since my last update, his color will be lighter in shade.

Players that have retired as of the end of the 5254 season are in red. They will also be marked with a "Y" in the "Retired?" column. These players have retired before the season I am about to scorinate (in this case, 5255). They will not take the pitch. They are retired. Not, like, about to retire. Retired. They will be removed from the database the next time a season preview update rolls around.

Also note that I have two separate sheets (you can toggle between them with the tabs at the very bottom), labeled "Domestic-Based Players" and "Foreign-Based Players." Unless you're really curious, you probably won't need to look up where players like Fušia Oujadda or Ryurik Mizirov are based... that information is important for me, though. Elsewhere on that page, there is other information, such as general league structure, major rivalries in the top flight, and the division's most successful clubs.

KPFA League First Division

For information on specific teams, you may view these links (in alphabetical order, obviously). All are up to date with kits, crests (if I've made them), rosters (if there are enough players to merit the work, which in most cases there isn't, so consult the player database above), and general club information and history.

Okay, now it's IC time! The first trophy of the KPFA League season is considered to be a minor one, but it still draws millions of viewers since by the time it begins, everybody is fully starved for football. So who won the Purple Pearl Super Cup in 5255? Was it the champion of the First Division, FKM? Or was it the holder of the Šenapatiam'ajat Vahavi, Raktaghav Hathi? Remember that the Red Elephants shocked the People's Club in the Vahavi final at the end of last season, and thanks to that upset we're all set for a rematch that shouldn't disappoint. Will Kagdazka and Pazhujebu's best team by any standard of measurement vanquish their lesser foes? Or will the plucky Red Elephants roar in triumph once more?
