Note: everyone but the presiding matriarch or judicator and the accused are standing during the proceedings.
The accused will be kneeling, if they hope to leave the courtroom alive.

Our setup is very similar to that. Only here, the accused will usually use his home as a fort when he sees the troops coming, forcing us to engage in an actual battle to deliver the sentence.

The typical TBRE courtroom is as follows:

The magistrate / judge (s) sit at bench at the front. The court officials (clerks and recorders) sit in front of this bench. The witness stand is to the left hand side of the bench. The defendant and their attorney sits in front of the court officials some distance away and to the right, and on their left is the prosecutor. The jury (if any) sits on the left of the witness stand. Alternatively, the defendant may be placed in a box, slightly behind the defendant's attorney seat. The public (if allowed) and press (again, if allowed) sits at the back of the courtroom.
