Good Point Texas Lands. But still maybe if people don't fill these spots left open the surrounding nations can invade or split the land
While expanding would be a good addition to this RP, I feel as if people would go on a greedy grab for as much land possible in the shortest amount of time to "win" the RP. If annexation were to be added, I suggest it take time. Just look at the Republic of Texas in the 1840s. They were working 9 years to get annexed by America, but America wasn't ready for them. Eventually, Sam Houston tricked Congress into peeing their pants and annexing Texas, but, that's a story for another time. What I'm saying is, that it takes time to get an annex through your nation's beauracracy. That being said, if your nation is a one man show, it would most definately speed up the process. But then you add in the task of keeping the infrastructure of the annexed land up, keeping the place clean, keeping the crime low (along with other security tasks), and managing the region along with all it's people. Yes, some tasks would be easy, but others would be difficult.
