Demonstration Sport Proposal:
The Carmadin National Olympic Committee would like to propose for consideration the sport of Ice Marathon. The event sees competitors skate 26.2 miles (a marathon), usually on a frozen river. The sport is practiced throughout Carmadin, and we hope it will be accepted for consideration at the winter olympics.

The Marathon files on XKorniate should be fine for Ice Marathon, and the format should be the same as the Marathon in the summer olympics. 3 Entries from each NOC should provide the needed numbers. Men's and Women's events should be held.

We thank you for your consideration in including this sport in the Olympic Program

The Camian Olympic Comitee would like to propose the event Dog Sledding as a demonstration sport of the Seventh Olympic Games in Liventia. Sled Dog Racing is most common in northern Camwood. It was seen as a mode of transportation until an event twisted the fate of Camian Dog Sledding.

It was a cold winter's night when the Camian Snow Patrol HQ in Vanler, Camwood received a transmission from a fallen helicopter somewhere in the wilderness between Vanler and White Rock. A six dog sled was deployed to search for the fallen aircraft. The passengers of the helicopter were located and rescued by the sled team. Now, every winter six-dog teams meet to compete in honor of the search crew in what is called the Odyssey.

The Odyssey is now a 41 mile lop in Northern Camwood. Six Dogs run per team. There is no gender segregation neither among dogs nor humans. Scorination is most practicle using Men's Marathon. Entrants to Dog Sledding events are identified by the musher (human). We do propose using the 41 mile lope. We also suggest maximum entry considering that men and women compete together, to be six teams. This is in relation to the maximum entry for most events being three per gender, unless the event is a team sport.

Note: The second paragraph details history and background information on dog sledding. The actual demonstration sport will take place in Liventia.
