If you find yourself in Kamloops on your beerventure, I'll grab you a few of my favorite domestics and imports. Gotta love the BC Gov't Liquor stores - they have more stock in local/BC brewed and imported beers than in the sort of "Chug it down" horsepiss you get in most bars.
I also have Michael Jackson's (No not the pop singer...) Great Beer Guide, so I can certainly point you in the right direction for your tastes. Most of it is European stuff, but it does tell the reader exactly -where- each beer in its hallowed pages is brewed, so as to get it fresh from the source.

This thread will be the for the entries/nominations.
hai guise, wats goin on in dis thread?
Hey FAQ Cat. We're all going to vote on the sexiest male and female NSers.
awesum. how do i entered contest?
Post a picture of yourself. Or a few pictures, if you want.
so how does i win?
Once you enter, people can start voting for you. Everyone gets to nominate one male of their choice, and one female. The ten males and ten females with the most nominations before noon on 28Dec2011 will get put in a poll for great justice. If there is less than ten of either gender who has received a nomination, only those having received nominations will be entered into the poll.
As a note: The time/date is Eastern Daylight Time (GMT -5:00).
OIC. how does i nominate?
To make it easier for me to find nominations, use the tags. Like this:
Vote [violet]
- Code: Select all
Vote [violet]
zomg, dis one pic is liek teh total fail!
Well if you've got nothing nice to say then don't say anything.
Kthnxbai!
Good luck, FAQ Cat!For a person to be eligible for a nomination they have to have posted a picture of themselves in this thread.
You get Three (3) Nominations. One each for male, female, and mod.
Additional note: If your entry photo is challenged as not being actually of you, you may be asked to provide proof that it is you, inability to do so will result in your entry being disqualified.

Eighties ruled.
Another thing, crowds tend to be garbage lately. Old bands come back, but the crowds barely do anything. Takes a lot of work to get anything resembling a pit going. If I wanted to sit down and listen I'd not have payed $30 to get through the door so I could pay $10 for a beer and be denied the ability to go out and come back in.
Still, to try and keep somewhat on, in, or near topic; I think what makes me, personally, just keep my hair going as it is, is that a few people who once had power over me absolutely went nuts about it for no reason when I decided what I wanted to do with it. That cemented my decision to never let someone else dictate how I live my life again. It's a symbol of independence and adulthood to me.

I so know what you mean about the pit, they just aren't fun anymore although here in my town we do have Threadz Fest in which we have some real honest to goodness pits going on and no one does the whole "I am going to sue you" thing
As to my pic I have long hair now but because back in the day they told me that a woman's crowing glory was her hair I cut it short and kept it that way because I didn't want someone to like me for my hair.....sort of funny how it all worked out in the end.

I do have a pic, but not sure if i should put it up. 'sides, Ruffy's portraits were perfect.
I'd say your best chance to win is this:
Wait until two hours before the close of entries. Loudly complain about the lack of representation of Sexiest Cross Dresser (you may need to take it to Moderation). Get you drag on and try to win that category by default.
